What You’ll Do

• Greet and check in scheduled guests upon arrival for their appointment slots
• Coordinate with assigned EV Consultants for seamless handoff for sales consultations and delivery pickups
• Ensure every guest receives a welcoming, professional, and efficient first impression
• Manage and maintain the daily schedule for test drives and vehicle deliveries

General Manager - SF Hub

About the Role

The General Manager is the senior operational leader at Ever’s San Francisco hub. You will own the full customer-facing deal lifecycl —from first contact through funding and title — and are accountable for the performance, culture, and daily execution of four verticals: Sales, BDC, Finance & Insurance, and Business Office / Title & Registration. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and requires full-time, on-site presence at the SF hub.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Deal Volume & Margin: Own retail deal volume targets for the SF market. Hold the Sales Manager and consultants accountable to closing ratios, front-end margin per unit, and customer experience scores.
• Sales Process: Drive a consistent process from lead to delivery. Monitor pipeline health, stage-by-stage conversion, and days-to-close across the team.
• Deal Quality: Review deals in progress and post-close for margin integrity, proper structure, and process adherence. Coach the Sales Manager on unit economics and objection handling.
• Funnel Gaps: Identify and address breakdowns in the sales funnel before they become pattern issues.

BDC & Lead Operations

• Pipeline Performance: Oversee BDC inbound and outbound pipeline. Hold the BDC Manager accountable to contact rate, appointment set rate, and show rate.
• CRM & Process Hygiene: Ensure lead routing, CRM data integrity, and scripting are current and consistently applied across the team.
• Alignment: Partner with pricing and inventory functions to align lead flow and vehicle positioning with BDC capacity and conversion performance.

Finance & Insurance (F&I)

• Back-End GPU: Own back-end gross profit per unit targets across product penetration, financing conversion, and chargeback rate.
• Compliance: Ensure every deal meets lender guidelines, state regulations, and internal compliance standards. Deal-level compliance is non-negotiable.
• Leading Indicators: Monitor funding time, deal kickbacks, and stipulation clearance rates as the primary health signals for F&I operations.
• Capacity & Structure: Identify constraints in F&I staffing or role definition and escalate to the VP of Operations before they affect throughput.

Business Office / Title & Registration

• SLA Performance: Ensure title and registration processing meets defined SLA targets. Track deal completion rate and exception volume on a weekly basis.
• Handoff Ownership: Own the Finance-to-Business-Office handoff as a documented, zero-ambiguity process. Resolve title issues and lien payoffs without allowing them to delay funding.
• State Compliance: Maintain awareness of title and registration requirements across all active states relevant to SF hub transactions.

Execution & Accountability

• Weekly Reviews: Run structured weekly reviews with team leads. Use data to diagnose trends, assign corrective action, and track resolution.
• Target Translation: Convert company-level targets — GPU, deal volume, margins — into vertical-specific goals with defined owners and timelines.
• Programmatic Initiatives: Drive SOP implementations, system rollouts, and process improvements from design through full team adoption.
• P&L Accountability: Own the SF hub’s gross profit contribution. Understand and manage all operational levers that affect it.
• Culture: Set the standard for how the team operates, handles pressure, escalates problems, and serves customers.

What You Are Responsible For

Performance Metrics

• GPU: Front-end and back-end gross profit per unit; blended GPU across all closings at or above target.
• Volume & Velocity: Deal volume, close rate, days-to-fund, stip clearance rate, and BDC appointment-to-show conversion.
• Compliance Metrics: Chargeback rate and title completion rate maintained within defined thresholds.

Sales goals: Including sales volume and customer sentiment.

Team & Org Health

• Headcount & Performance: Staffing, performance management, and retention across all four verticals. Regular 1:1s and documented coaching for all direct reports.
• Hiring & Ramp: Ensure key roles are filled and ramp-ready before gaps become operational constraints.

Process & Compliance

• SOP Adherence: Enforce and continuously improve processes across Sales, BDC, F&I, and Business Office.
• Deal Integrity: Lender compliance, state title and registration requirements, CDK data accuracy, and contract packaging — end-to-end.

Qualifications & Experience

• Leadership Experience: 5–8 years of senior leadership managing multiple functional verticals in a high-volume, consumer-facing operation.
• Sales & F&I Ownership: Direct experience owning both Sales and F&I performance with fluency in front-end and back-end margin mechanics at the deal level.
• BDC Background: Proven track record leading a BDC or inside sales function with measurable accountability to lead conversion and pipeline metrics.
• Industry Background: Experience in automotive retail or direct-to-consumer vehicle operations. Familiarity with the DTC operating model and its demands is strongly preferred.
• DMS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or a comparable dealership management system.
• Title & Registration: Experience managing business office and title functions, including multi-state or complex regulatory environments.
• Team Building: Track record of hiring, developing, and managing performance to clear, documented standards.
• EV Knowledge: Working knowledge of or demonstrated interest in the EV market and its operational differences from traditional automotive retail.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $140,000 – $165,000 depending on experience.
• Annual Performance Bonus: 20–30% of base salary, paid annually based on KPI attainment across GPU, deal volume, team development, and operational compliance.

About the Role

As a Title & Registration Specialist at Ever, you will own the end-to-end title and registration process across both our retail and acquisition channels. This is a mid-level, operations-critical role that covers the full vehicle lifecycle — from the moment we acquire a unit (via trade-in, direct purchase, partner/vendor sale, or auction) through final title transfer and registration to the retail customer. You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and speed at every stage, across multiple markets and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Title Processing & Compliance

• Title Examination: Review incoming titles for accuracy, lien releases, odometer disclosures, and jurisdictional compliance before retail delivery.
• Title Submission: Prepare and submit title applications to the appropriate state DMV or third-party processing agency for each completed sale.
• Lien & Payoff Management: Coordinate lien releases with lenders, ensure payoff letters are received and applied, and confirm clean title prior to customer delivery.
• Duplicate & Corrected Titles: Manage requests for duplicate or corrected titles, ensuring timely resolution and accurate recordkeeping.
• Jurisdictional Compliance: Maintain current working knowledge of title and registration rules across all active states, including CA, WA, and any expansion markets.

Registration & DMV Coordination

• Registration Processing: Complete registration paperwork and submissions for retail customers in multiple states, including temporary operating permits where applicable.
• DMV Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for DMV inquiries, rejections, and resubmissions. Resolve errors quickly to protect funding timelines.
• Temp Tags & Plate Fulfillment: Issue temporary permits accurately and manage timely fulfillment of permanent plates and registration documents to customers.
• EV Incentive Documentation: Support customers with state-specific EV registration incentive documentation (e.g., HOV sticker eligibility, clean vehicle rebate forms) where applicable.

Documentation & Deal Integrity

• Deal Jacket Audit: Review completed deal jackets to verify all required title and registration documents are present, signed, and properly executed prior to submission.
• Odometer & Disclosure Forms: Ensure all federal and state odometer disclosure requirements are met on every transaction.
• Digital Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, organized records of all title and registration transactions in the DMS. Log submission dates, status updates, and completion milestones.
• Warranty & Gap Documentation: Confirm back-end product documentation is properly executed and filed alongside title paperwork where required.

Customer & Internal Communication

• Customer Updates: Proactively communicate title and registration status to customers post-delivery, including expected timelines for plates and registration documents.
• Internal Escalation: Flag title issues, missing documents, or DMV holds to the relevant Finance Manager or Operations lead immediately to avoid deal funding delays.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure title handoff is seamless and deal timelines are met.

Acquisition Channel Title Management

In addition to retail title responsibilities, this role owns title intake and processing for all inbound acquisition channels. Each channel carries distinct documentation, timing, and compliance requirements.

Trade-Ins

• Title Receipt & Verification: Collect and verify customer trade-in titles at point of transaction, confirming ownership, lien status, and title accuracy.
• Payoff Coordination: Work with Finance to confirm outstanding loan payoffs on trade vehicles. Track receipt of lien releases and ensure titles are cleared before the unit enters inventory.
• Title Reassignment: Execute proper title reassignment from the previous owner to Ever in accordance with state requirements, including odometer disclosure and any applicable Bill of Sale.
• Documentation Package: Ensure all trade-in paperwork — including signed title, odometer statement, condition acknowledgment, and customer ID verification — is complete and filed in the deal jacket.

Customer Direct Purchases (Customer Sales)

• Purchase Agreement & Title Transfer: Manage title transfer documentation for vehicles purchased directly from private sellers. Confirm chain of ownership is intact and all required signatures are obtained.
• Bill of Sale Execution: Prepare and execute Bills of Sale for direct purchase transactions in accordance with state-specific requirements.
• Lien Search & Clearance: Conduct or coordinate lien searches on directly purchased vehicles, and manage payoff and lien release prior to resale.
• Payment Reconciliation — Customer Sales: Coordinate with Finance and Operations to confirm that purchase payment is disbursed to the seller only after title is received and verified. Log payment status against title receipt milestones.

Vendor & Partner Sales

• Vendor Title Intake: Receive and process title documentation from fleet managers, OEM remarketing programs, and third-party vehicle sourcing partners. Verify titles are free and clear and match vehicle data on record.
• Partner Documentation: Maintain a complete documentation package for each vendor/partner transaction, including signed purchase agreement, title, and any applicable reassignment forms.
• Payment Reconciliation — Vendor/Partner: Track payment disbursement against title receipt for vendor transactions. Flag any mismatches or delays to Purchasing and Finance immediately.
• Vehicle Data Input: Upon receipt of vendor titles, input and verify VIN, title number, state of title, and ownership data into the DMS. Ensure the system record matches the physical title on file.

Auction Purchases

• Auction Title Intake: Receive, log, and process titles from Manheim, ADESA, OVE, and other auction platforms. Track expected title receipt dates against auction purchase records and flag any delays.
• Floor Plan & Funding Coordination: Coordinate with Finance to ensure title receipt aligns with floor plan funding timelines. 
• Arbitration Documentation: Maintain documentation for any vehicle subject to arbitration or title dispute through an auction channel. Work with the Purchasing team to resolve title discrepancies.
• Payment Reconciliation — Auction: Reconcile auction purchase payments against title receipts. Log any title delays, missing documents, or outstanding balances and escalate per established thresholds.
• Vehicle Data Input — Auction: Input VIN, title state, auction run number, and condition report data into the DMS upon title receipt. Verify DMS record accuracy against the physical title before the unit is cleared for recon.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of title and registration experience in automotive retail, with direct exposure to both retail and acquisition-side title processing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multi-state title and registration processes, including California and Washington.
• Experience managing title intake across multiple acquisition channels (trade-in, private purchase, auction, or fleet/remarketing) at meaningful volume.
• Hands-on experience with a dealership management system (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with auction title workflows and floor plan funding timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, multi-channel transactions without errors.
• Experience with payment reconciliation and cross-functional coordination between Finance, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for both internal teams and direct customer interaction.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, onboard, and manage a dedicated outbound logistics provider and stand up the platform for ongoing operations
• Establish a Central Dispatch account to begin posting outbound loads immediately if preferred provider onboarding requires extended lead time
• Negotiate carrier contracts and establish SLAs covering white-glove delivery standards, on-time performance, and real-time customer-facing load tracking
• Design the end-to-end outbound workflow including delivery request intake, vehicle readiness confirmation, and transport scheduling and execution
• Establish Operations as the primary posting function for outbound loads with a structured intake process for requests from Sales and Finance
• Build a cross-functional communication framework connecting Finance, Sales, Operations, and transport providers to eliminate handoff gaps
• Define clear vehicle readiness handoff criteria and notification protocols between Finance and Operations
• Partner with Sales and Finance to establish accurate, operationally grounded delivery timelines 
• Develop and enforce transport SOPs, damage protocols, and vehicle handoff procedures
• Own the SLA framework for driver and carrier performance including target-setting, tracking, and accountability
• Implement real-time load tracking visible to internal stakeholders and customers
• Define and own logistics KPIs including on-time delivery rate, damage rate, and cost per move
• Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for Sales and Finance on all outbound delivery needs
• Translate sales volume forecasts into logistics capacity plans as the business scales
• Support ad hoc logistics projects and operational initiatives as the role and business evolve

Qualifications & Fit

• 3 to 5+ years of direct experience building and managing outbound vehicle logistics or automotive transport networks
• Demonstrated experience in third-party logistics contracting and carrier management, including negotiation and performance management
• Background in hub-based or multi-site transport network design, preferably in a high-growth or greenfield environment
• Experience designing cross-functional logistics workflows involving Sales, Finance, and Operations stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with minimal existing structure
• High ownership mindset with strong operational follow-through
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Passion for EVs and next-generation mobility

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Central Dispatch, TMS platforms, and real-time transport visibility tooling
• Experience with outbound automotive logistics providers such as Carpool Logistics, Runbuggy, or Acertus
• Strong Excel and Sheets skills
• Comfort using Slack, CRM, and operations dashboards
• Familiarity with west coast carrier markets and lane dynamics

What You’ll Do

• Own reconditioning decisions for Ever’s EV inventory
• Triage inspection reports and determine repair scope, priority, and budget
• Coordinate work across internal technicians, third-party shops, dealers, and mobile vendors
• Source and manage external service partners to optimize cost, speed, and quality
• Approve estimates, negotiate pricing, and control reconditioning spend
• Track vehicle status through inspection, repair, QA, and ready-to-sell stages
• Ensure vehicles meet Ever’s quality, safety, and merchandising standards
• Resolve technical issues and unblock stalled vehicles
• Maintain accurate reconditioning records and documentation
• Identify process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost
• Provide feedback to Product & Ops teams to improve tooling and workflows

Qualifications & Fit

• 2–6+ years of experience in service advising, recon ops, or fleet maintenance
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and cost drivers
• Comfortable making fast, data-driven repair decisions
• Experience managing vendors, shops, or dealer service departments
• High ownership and strong operational mindset
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Passion for EVs and next-generation mobility

Technical Skills

• Experience with service DMS or recon management tools
• Ability to read inspection reports, estimates, and labor ops
• Familiarity with EV systems and common failure modes
• Strong Excel / Sheets skills
• Comfort using Slack, CRM, and ops dashboards
• Experience negotiating labor rates and parts pricing

What You’ll Do

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on electric vehicles
• Handle high-voltage systems safely and according to OEM procedures
• Conduct reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for retail sale
• Diagnose battery, charging, drivetrain, and software-related issues
• Complete pre-purchase and post-reconditioning quality checks
• Document all work accurately in Ever’s internal systems
• Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and inventory teams
• Ensure all vehicles meet Ever’s quality and safety standards
• Stay current on EV technology and manufacturer service updates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Qualifications & Fit

• 2–7+ years of automotive technician experience (EV experience strongly preferred)
• High-voltage safety training or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using scan tools and OEM diagnostic software
• Ability to work independently with high ownership
• Detail-oriented with strong quality standards
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Passion for EVs and future mobility

Technical Skills

• Experience servicing EVs (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc. preferred)
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and scan software
• Understanding of high-voltage battery systems
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration and software updates a plus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
• ASE certifications a plus
