The Human Resources Manager will report to the Regional Human Resources Manager and will be an integral part of the global team. The role will implement and manage all human resource policies, labor and employee relations, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, performance management and compensation review. The role will work closely with site leaders to ensure that Human Resources programs and services are executed to support and drive key business objectives. Experience with organizational development is valued since human capital processes require development and evolution as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on leadership to build and maintain contemporary human resources practices, processes, and systems in support of the Company’s overall competitiveness.

Monitor the “pulse” of our associates to ensure a high level of engagement.

Implement employee relations strategies designed to create an environment that drives engagement.

Investigate associate relations issues, recommend, and execute corrective actions.

Manage site-level leaves of absence including family medical leave and short-term disability

Partner with the site operations team, focusing on solutions and strong deliverables that drive our key performance indicators.

Participate as an integral member of the site’s leadership team, providing advice, coaching and leadership on all matters involving human resources.

Partner with managers to drive performance management and talent development processes.

Ensure appropriate and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Source, select, onboard, and retain associates.

Manage day-to-day and higher value Human Resources tasks.

Partner with Community Relations Manager to build a strong community presence.

Participate in special projects and other Human Resources initiatives needed to meet overall Company, plant, and department objectives.

Maintain key Human Resources metrics through reporting.

Capable of partnering with site leadership on various aspects of the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of work experience in Human Resources.

Work experience in a manufacturing or similar environment required (rapid and complex). Start-up experience of Greenfield or Brownfield site a plus

PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.

Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.

Strong organization skills with attention to detail.

Exercises good judgement with respect to keeping confidential information.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to write reports

Working knowledge of non-exempt and exempt workforce.

Working knowledge of basic employment laws.

Proven experience resolving associate relations issues.

Comfortable with a high-volume workload and not afraid to be “boots on the ground.”
Able to effectively function as the sole Human Resources representative at the site-level.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Area Manager maintains a stock of spare parts, tools, foreseeing what is needed if something goes wrong and anything critical needed that affects their area of production. Using critical thinking skills, the Area Manager will improve upon anything in their area to increase production and reduce cost.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsible for ensuring process and product quality metrics are met.
Responsible for meeting volume targets.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
Provide training and development to team members in the area.
Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance program in place.

Qualifications:

Associates or college degree in a STEM field of study or equivalent experience required.

Senior Staff Accountant

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Plant Controller, this position is responsible for supporting monthly accounting and finance activities to drive operational improvement and process efficiency. The senior staff accountant ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded and ensures the accuracy of entries while gaining exposure to complex tasks associated with the plant operations.

Responsibilities

Month-end close and Financial Analysis

· Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation during the corporate monthly financial close.

· Assist the Plant Controller with performing balance sheet reconciliations during the corporate monthly financial close.

· Assist the Plant Controller with completing bi-weekly forecasts and the annual budget.

· Support analyses to improve forecast accuracy and operational decision making.

Accounts Payable and Purchase Orders

· Receive and reconcile invoices to purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and receiving reports for goods and services (three-way matching)

· Obtain appropriate approval for payment of invoices received that do not have a purchase requisition or purchase order number.

· Ensure that appropriate sales tax is either included on the vendor invoice or tracked on a daily log to assist Plant Controller with the monthly accrual and payment.

· Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

· Responsible for the accurate coding and timely processing of invoices. Investigate and resolve all discrepancies associated with the processing of invoices.

· Ensure all documentation supporting invoices are combined and filed and maintain a monthly recurring payment log and ensure all vendors are paid within terms.

· Ensure all vendor invoices are scanned and saved with appropriate naming convention for posting by the Regional AP Team Lead.

· Review the coding of purchase orders and confirm the appropriate accounting treatment of invoices including prepaid expenses and fixed assets.

Inventory

· Take weekly and monthly inventories, including raw material, spare parts, and consumable inventories.

· Ensure the accurate accounting of finished goods inventory shipped from the operating plant location to the port location.

· Monitor the plant’s load out function to ensure that all loads leaving are recorded in the software system daily.

· Effective communication with the port’s Office Manager to ensure that all loads leaving the plant were subsequently received by the port.

· Timely resolution of any daily reconciling items or potential inventory discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

· At least 4-7 years relevant accounting experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or related quantitative field

· Experience processing a high volume of invoices and/or purchase orders

· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy; Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet tight deadlines

· Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work activities, manage time efficiently and follow policies and procedures.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar ERP system).

· Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial data.

· Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
