- Design, engineer, analyze, and develop software prototypes and/or applications as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Engage with stakeholders to better define the problem space and vision to determine capabilities and priorities
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: user story creation, design, development, automated testing, and operational support
- Create intuitive user interfaces that enable efficient data management and system oversight
- Design and develop new visualization features to meet evolving end-user requirements

- Determine software maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements on department standards

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
- 7 years of software development, including architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing
- Strong experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
- Experience working with Javascript fameworks such as Angular or React
- Hands-on experience developing web applications with microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
- Experience with Docker, AWS and/or Azure, and Kubernetes for containerization, cloud services, and orchestration

- Define and deliver alternative of solutions to address different integration challenges; manage schedule impact and overall delivery of products.

- Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and to prepare briefings to U.S. Space Force program office personnel and other stakeholders; provide courses of actions to support Government decisions.
- Support management of risks, issues, interdependencies, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and assisting the Government in executing selected solutions.

- Lead and coordinate all acquisition activities in preparing for Planning/Execution events
- Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate, and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings
- Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design planning/execution reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements
- Provide program element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures sustainment objectives and perform engineering analysis and system-level assessments for decision support at various meetings
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field, such as engineering, math, physics, and computer science
- 7+ years’ experience in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and/or contracts management within the Department of Defense
- Experience leading DoD acquisition programs through major milestone for an ACAT I program
- Demonstrated understanding of DoD acquisition policies and processes and ability to apply DoD policies to program plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoDI 5000.85 and DoDI 5000.87
