Engine is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager, Account Executive to lead a team of motivated sales professionals. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our sales team, especially those early in their careers. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing young talent, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving measurable results through hands-on coaching, data analysis, and performance management

Here’s what you’ll do:   

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives to exceed sales goals through impactful coaching, motivation, and skill development. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture by implementing team-building activities, recognition programs, and accountability-driven incentives.
• Performance Management and Coaching:Set clear performance goals and metrics while leveraging data and one-on-one meetings to track progress and provide actionable feedback. Address performance issues promptly and constructively, using a data-driven approach to drive continuous improvement.
• Sales Strategy and Execution: Utilize sales data and KPIs to diagnose team performance and adjust strategies as needed. Manage day-to-day operations and ensure team productivity is optimized by focusing on key metrics (e.g., activity levels, conversion rates, quota attainment). Regularly track and report on team performance, providing insights to senior leadership.
• Problem Solving and Operational Efficiency: Be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the team, actively troubleshooting issues, and helping remove roadblocks to ensure reps can focus on selling. Maintain a proactive approach in identifying and resolving challenges that impact team productivity, both internally and with clients.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales leadership team to align on strategy, share best practices, and implement improvements to processes. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, and operations) to ensure alignment on lead quality, sales tools, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring to Engine:

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and provide constructive feedback.
• Leadership Skills: A hands-on sales leader with 4-5 years of experience managing and developing Account Executives and Business Development Representatives, preferably in the SaaS space and actively involved in day-to-day operations. Proven ability to coach junior sales talent to exceed targets while holding team members accountable and addressing underperformance to drive success.
• Data Driven Mindset: A data-centric mindset with the ability to analyze and use sales data to drive performance.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated IT Service Desk Technician ready to make an immediate impact. This role is vital for providing exceptional technical support, both in-office and remotely, ensuring our team can operate efficiently and effectively. 

This role requires in-office presence; applicants must currently reside in the designated geographic locations (hybrid in our Tempe, Arizona office).

Your Mission

As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:

• Incident and Request Fulfillment: Responsible for managing tickets according to target SLAs and KPIs, ensuring the best possible service for our business partners while maximizing uptime on systems.
• Technical Support and Consultation: Acts as a trusted advisor to our internal business partners, providing technical support for laptops, printers, conference rooms, office networks and applications.
• User and Asset Management: Assists with onboarding and off-boarding of users, leading new hire classes and ensuring on-time delivery of hardware and access.
• Collaboration & Business Tools: Go-to resource for questions on key systems such as Google, Zoom, Slack, and more.  
• Documentation: Responsible for ensuring Engine’s Knowledge Base is current and relevant, providing expertly crafted self-service documentation and internal troubleshooting guides.

What You’ll Bring to Engine

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in technical support within an enterprise setting. Extensive knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems, Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack platforms. Proven ability to use JIRA Service Management effectively.
• Service Oriented:  Relentlessly focused on providing exceptional support, empowering colleagues through technology, and building strong partnerships to drive shared success.
• Highly Analytical: You have a knack for troubleshooting and analyzing problems.  You also are highly organized, meticulously detailed and an excellent written and verbal communicator. 
• Tech Stack Extra Credit: Bonus points if you have experience in Okta, Jamf/Intune and Meraki networking.
• Mindset: You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter.

Your Mission

We are on the lookout for driven and results-oriented net new Account Executives to join our dynamic new business sales team at Engine. In this full-cycle position, you'll take the lead in outbounding and qualifying leads, seamlessly transitioning to handing off new customers to our dedicated Account Management team.

This position will require 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) in our office for the first 90 days dependent on performance. 

Here's what you'll do

• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close for Mid-Market deals including coordinating and delivering compelling online demos to potential and existing clients
• Net New Opportunity Development: High outbound activity, including 55+ cold calls per day, managing a book of named accounts, tiering accounts, and identifying key personas to target. Creatively source leads through self-prospecting and leverage company resources
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Acquire and contribute to the onboarding process for new accounts, collaborating with Engine's Account Management team to foster growth in existing accounts
• Customer Focus: Cultivate enduring relationships with a diverse portfolio of businesses, encouraging exclusive utilization of Engine for hotel bookings
• Data Cleanliness: Maintain a well-organized and clean pipeline to streamline sales processes and develop expertise in our tech stack by mastering tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Outreach to efficiently manage daily operations

What You'll Bring to Engine

• B2B Sales Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of B2B Sales Representative or SDR/BDR experience 
• Hunter Mentality: Expertise with outbound prospecting techniques, tools, and processes (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong)
• Competitive Spirit: A track record of high achievements and consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs
