Your Mission

• Liquidity & Cash Management: Oversee daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations while minimizing idle balances.
• Working Capital Optimization: Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and FP&A teams to manage working capital constraints, reduce liquidity tied up across accounts payable and receivable, and implement strategies such as cash concentration and payment term optimization.
• Foreign Exchange Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage foreign currency exposures. As necessary, develop and execute hedging strategies to mitigate FX volatility and losses.
• Cash Yield Maximization: Invest excess liquidity in highly liquid, low-risk instruments to maximize yield.
• Line of Credit Oversight: Manage the company’s revolving credit facility in partnership with FP&A. Monitor utilization, covenant compliance, and liquidity availability to support both day-to-day operations and growth initiatives.
• Banking & Counterparty Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for banking partners. Negotiate fees, maintain account structures, and ensure competitive services to support global treasury needs.
• Treasury Policies & Controls: Maintain robust internal controls over treasury operations, ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations, and support internal and external audits.
• Treasury Systems & Reporting: Utilize and enhance treasury tools and ERP systems to improve efficiency, reporting, and visibility. Prepare and present treasury dashboards and updates for executive leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure treasury activities align with broader business objectives.

What You’ll Bring to Engine

• Experience: 5-8+ years in treasury, capital markets, corporate banking, corporate finance, or related financial roles, with hands-on experience in cash management, FX risk management, and liquidity planning.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of working capital management, treasury instruments, and hedging strategies. Experience managing credit facilities is highly preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel and/or financial planning tool skills, as well as comfort with cash forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and treasury management tools.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information for executives.

Your Mission

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Engine, you’ll take a key role in helping us scale smarter and faster. Your mission will be to unlock actionable insights across all our demand generation, Product, R&D and support teams to improve how we acquire, grow, and retain customers.

Here’s what you’ll take charge of

• Analyze performance across all key functions including demand generation (Sales, Account Management, Partnerships), R&D, Member Support, to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer acquisition, retention, and overall business impact.
• Build and own dynamic models and dashboards to track performance and enable data-driven decision-making, such as the revenue model and partnerships model.
• Design and lead reporting frameworks that surface meaningful insights for leadership and board-level discussions.
• Drive strategic initiatives like bookings forecasting, funnel conversion analysis, customer segmentation, and various optimization analytics to drive operational efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to drive critical corporate FP&A functions while serving as a strategic partner to our CFO, executive leadership team and Board of Directors Success in this role will be measured by business impact and results with the expectation that his role will  identify critical growth opportunities, drive business decisions through data-driven insights, and build scalable processes that support Engine's continued growth.In addition to driving financial reporting, various strategic analyses, and operational business partnerships; you will own quarterly forecasting, board reporting, cash flow and equity burn modeling, and drive cross-functional initiatives that impact capital allocation decisions.

• Planning processes: Drive execution of quarterly reforecasting process, partnering with department heads across Engine to develop driver-based assumptions and translate business initiatives into financial impact. In addition, you will be a major contributor to our Annual Planning process.
• Board Deck & Financial Sections: Own financial sections of the quarterly board deck; ensure materials are executive-ready with clear narratives around performance, forward outlook and critical decisions/trade-offs
• Equity Burn & Cash Flow Forecasting: Build and maintain equity burn and cash flow models in Adaptive Planning; proactively surface liquidity risks and opportunities
• Centralized OpEx & Corporate Allocations: Own forecasting and variance analysis for corporate/shared services costs; partner with HR on people costs (merit, medical, bonus, perks)
• Adaptive Planning Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of Adaptive models, reports, and integrations; serve as a power user and internal expert
• Strategic Analysis & Proactive Insights: Identify cost optimization opportunities, productivity improvements, and risks before being asked; quantify impact and drive recommendations to action
• Debt Covenant Reporting: Own preparation and accuracy of covenant reporting requirements
• Annual Budget: Partner with Director on annual planning; lead corporate/centralized portions and support cross-functional coordination
• Board Memo: Draft financial narrative sections; coordinate with ELT to drive their sections and ensure timely completion; support CFO and Director in final preparation

What You’ll Bring to Engine

• 8-12+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles, with meaningful time in high-growth technology or SaaS companies; experience with a two-sided marketplace model strongly desired
• Technical depth: Adaptive Planning power user (or equivalent EPM tool) who can build, optimize, and troubleshoot models independently; strong financial acumen with 3-statement modeling expertise; advanced Excel and Google Suite fluency; position management experience strongly desired
• Strategic impact: Proven ability to influence business decisions through data-driven insights—not just produce reports. You build driver-based models with quantifiable assumptions and generate forward-looking recommendations that change outcomes
• Board & executive presence: Track record preparing materials for boards of directors or executive leadership teams; exceptional communication skills that translate complex analysis into clear, actionable narratives
• Systems foundation: Experience with NetSuite (or equivalent ERP), HRIS systems (HiBob a plus), and headcount planning/reconciliation processes
• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction/valuation advisory, or management consulting
• Experience with travel, marketplace, or B2B SaaS business models
• SQL proficiency for ad-hoc data analysis
• Experience building FP&A processes and infrastructure from scratch during scaling phase
• Track record of mentoring junior team members or leading cross-functional projects
