What You Will Be Doing:

• Strong customer advocacy, relationship building, and communications skills
• The ability to easily pivot from delivery to strategic engagements with customers
• To work with the wider Elastic organisation to support the customer’s goals, their strategic requirements and their journey with Elastic.
• Ownership of the strategic roadmap with the customer including quarterly strategic sessions with senior and key stakeholders either in one or a number of customers with common goals.
• Solution design, development, and integration of Elastic products and APIs, platform architecture, and capacity planning in mission-critical environments
• Comfortable working remotely in a highly distributed team
• Development of demos and proof-of-concepts that highlight the value of the Elastic Stack
• Data modelling, query development and optimisation, cluster tuning and scaling with a focus on fast search and analytics at scale
• Solving our customers’ most challenging data problems
• Working closely with the Elastic engineering, product management, and support teams to identify feature enhancements, extensions.
• Engaging with the Elastic Sales team to scope opportunities while assessing technical risks, questions, or concerns

What You Bring Along:

• Hands-on experience and an understanding of Elasticsearch and/or Lucene
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Consultant, working to deliver and execute on professional services engagements
• Currently holding  security clearance
• Experience as a technical instructor or public speaker to large audiences on enterprise infrastructure software technology to engineers, developers, and other technical positions
• Excel at working directly with customers to gather, prioritise, plan and execute solutions to customer business requirements as it relates to our technologies
• Understanding and passion for open-source technology and knowledge and proficient in at least one programming language
• Hands-on experience with large distributed systems from an architecture and development perspective
• Knowledge of information retrieval and/or analytics domain
• The nature of the work that you will be doing will require a high percentage of work onsite with customers, and you should be expected to travel as a result of this requirement
• Understanding of Linux, Java and databases

Elastic is seeking an experienced Regional Services Partner Delivery Manager to lead our Public Sector Services business in Germany.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial ownership, customer engagement, and delivery excellence. You will be responsible for driving services bookings growth across federal, state, and regulated public institutions while ensuring successful execution of a portfolio of complex engagements.

Reporting to the Regional Services Director, you will partner closely with Public Sector Account Executives, Solution Architects, Delivery teams, and Customer Success to define and execute tailored services strategies that accelerate time to value and drive long-term adoption of Elastic solutions.

Success in this role means consistently achieving services bookings and revenue targets while delivering predictable, high-quality outcomes for Germany’s Public Sector customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and achieve Public Sector Germany services bookings and revenue targets.
• Build and execute a territory services strategy aligned with account plans and long-term adoption objectives.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and proactively manage pipeline gaps.
• Lead the services bid and negotiation lifecycle, including scope, pricing, contract structures, and deliverables.
• Drive discovery and shape outcome-oriented services offerings.
• Develop compelling Statements of Work tied to measurable milestones and business outcomes.
• Position Elastic Services as a strategic enabler for transformation initiatives within Public Sector organizations.
• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent Public Sector engagements, ensuring delivery within cost, margin, and customer satisfaction expectations.
• Provide governance oversight for strategic accounts, managing escalations and aligning Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, facilitate steering meetings, and ensure structured reporting and change management.
• Act as a strategic advisor, aligning Elastic Services to customer mission objectives and regulatory constraints.
• Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization across Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Partner teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Professional Services, program delivery, or pre-sales roles within enterprise technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with German Public Sector organizations (federal ministries, state authorities, or regulated entities).
• Proven commercial ownership of services bookings targets, including forecasting and complex contract negotiations.
• Strong background in delivering technology solutions in search, observability, analytics, or security domains.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements with governance and risk oversight responsibilities.
• Fluency in German and English required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany (and occasionally internationally).

Preferred

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and related technologies (Linux, NoSQL, distributed systems).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience as a billable consultant or project manager.
• Ability to obtain German security clearance if required.
