Als Manager:in des Technical Support Teams trägst Du die Verantwortung für Technical Services Engineers und sorgst gemeinsam mit ihnen dafür, dass unsere Kund:innen die bestmögliche Doctolib-Erfahrung machen.

Deine Aufgaben 

• Verantwortung für die Effektivität und Effizienz der Aufbau- und Ablauforganisation im Technical Support - u.a. durch kontinuierliche Evaluierung von Performance und Prozessen 
• Teamführung: fachliche und disziplinarische Führung sowie Weiterentwicklung von Technical Services Mitarbeiter:innen
• Reporting & Controlling: Du hast die Kennzahlen stets im Blick und nutzt sie, um den Technischen Service strategisch weiterzuentwickeln
• Qualitätsmanagement: Du analysierst Supportanfragen und leitest gezielte Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Zufriedenheit unserer Kund:innen ab
• Du arbeitest mit verschiedenen KI-Tools, um effektiv und effizient Problemlösungen zu erarbeiten und nachhaltiges Wissen im Team zu verankern

Dein Profil

Um Teil unseres Teams zu werden, bringst Du Folgendes mit:

• Nachgewiesene Führungserfahrung im Technischen Support sowie umfassende Erfahrung im Team Management
• Erfahrung im Change Management sowie im Umgang mit verschiedenen IT-Systemen
• Kundenorientierte Denkweise und ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten - sowohl für technische Fachleute als auch für Nicht-Techniker:innen
• Sehr gute Deutsch- (mind. C1) und Englisch- (mind. C1) Kenntnisse

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Identity and Access Management team.

Join our new team dedicated to authentication and user rights management. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the gold standard for access control on Doctolib's platform. What you'll do

• Collaborating with Feature teams: You will work closely with our Feature teams, ensuring that the services align with the needs and requirements of our developers
• Driving improvements: You will continuously evaluate new technologies and processes, striving for enhancements, and implementing them as necessary to optimize our development practices
• Defining best practices: You will be responsible for defining best practices, known as "golden paths," for software development and deployment. This includes automation, testing, and security measures, in collaboration with our SREs, Security teams, and other domain experts
• Developing and maintaining tools and services: You will create and maintain tools and services that facilitate the implementation of best practices. These resources will assist developers in building and deploying applications more efficiently
• Ensuring reliability, scalability, traceability, and monitoring: You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, traceability, and monitoring of our services and infrastructure
• Collaborating on roadmap delivery: You will actively contribute to the delivery of roadmap items, working closely with the rest of the team to achieve our collective goals

Who you are

• You have at least 5+ years of site reliability engineering experience, including experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions supporting applications deployment developed on the JVM and/or TypeScript
• You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn
• You have proven experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• You have a solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• You have proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Java, Ruby, Python etc.) and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles

• Have experience with test frameworks such as Junit, Jest, Vitest, Playwright and/or Capybara and different test tools such as PACT for contract testing, Gatling for load testing
• Have experience with Datadog, Sonarqube and/or Backstage
• Have experience in managing a multi service environment
• Are opinionated about what the best developer experience looks like
• Consider Developers as your "customers"

Who you are

• Senior-Level Experience: 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience within a cross collaborative environment 
• API Development: Proven experience building and maintaining APIs for permissions/authorization systems

• Build and operate scalable backend services in Node.js/TypeScript with additional exposure to Python

• You have proven experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes within at least one major Cloud Service (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• You have experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions) and maintain a strong testing culture (unit/integration/e2e)
• You have solid debugging skills for microservices and distributed systems
• You have working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and schema design
• You have an interest in or exposure to VoIP telephony basics (SIP, RTP/SRTP, SBCs, SIP trunks)

What we do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you're going to be part of a Berlin-based international team focused on improving the performance, features and design of our core product for healthcare professionals, the Scheduling System.

Doctolib's unprecedented growth in the last 10 years was made possible thanks to pragmatism and avoiding premature optimisation at any cost. In order to keep growing, performance is a critical priority and we are constantly evolving how key features are architected to scale for future needs. Because of this, we are re-architecting our Appointments Management Service. For this service to meet the needs of our Users, high throughput and scalability are crucial. Therefore, we are building this critical service from the ground up leveraging modern event driven, distributed technologies inline with our redefined Technology Strategy. This new Service will help pave the way for a new direction in the way Care Teams manage Appointments, matching Patients with faster access to Care.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Building this critical service from, transitioning from a monolithic application, as an independent runtime and leveraging modern event driven, distributed technologies;
• Thinking user first and helping improve our user experience through new features and design updates, while maintaining high code quality standards;
• Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team);
• Helping keep our bug backlog small;
• Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for the next quarters;
• Bringing your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we work.

Who you are
