Working with governments, foundations, and public sector partners to turn complex challenges into buildable solutions and real impact through AI product-driven delivery.
About Delivery Associates
Delivery Associates (DA) is a global social impact consultancy specializing in transforming the public sector. With over a decade of experience and a foundation in Deliverology®, DA guides leaders through every phase of implementation—delivery-oriented strategy formulation, execution, and evaluation. Job Description
Delivery Associates is building a new kind of team—one that helps partners across government and the social sector move from policy ambition to real, AI-enabled products and services that improve outcomes for people.
We are hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to help build and ship these solutions. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: turning defined problems and product direction into simple, functional, and reliable applications that can be deployed and used in real-world public sector environments.
In this role, you will work across the stack—from building backend services and APIs to implementing user-facing interfaces—to design systems that support real workflows. This includes connecting data, integrating APIs, structuring and transforming data, and incorporating external tools (including AI services) into usable, end-to-end processes.
You will work closely with an AI Solutions Engineer, a Product Manager, and Delivery teams to translate ideas into working products—often in contexts with fragmented data, tight timelines, and evolving requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to build quickly, keep solutions simple, and deliver working features that can be used and iterated on in real environments.
Core Responsibilities.
This is a contractor role embedded within small, high-performing delivery teams, where product ownership and execution are tightly integrated. In this role, you will:

Job Description
Delivery Associates is building a new kind of team—one that helps partners across government and the social sector move from policy ambition to real, AI-enabled products and services that improve outcomes for people.
We are hiring an AI Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of this effort. This is neither a research role nor a narrowly defined engineering position. It is a delivery role at its core: translating complex, ambiguous public sector challenges into working solutions that can be deployed and used in the real world.
In this role, you will work closely with Product, Delivery teams, and government counterparts to rapidly design, prototype, and ship AI-powered tools that are not only technically sound, but also practical, credible, and impactful. You will be expected to move quickly from problem definition to functional systems, operating in short, iterative cycles.
This role is designed for someone who combines strong engineering judgment with a deep understanding of modern AI systems—and who can build quickly without compromising quality. Someone who is motivated by impact, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven to turn ideas into systems that improve how public institutions serve people.

In every one of our services, you will find a throughline back to this focus on helping our partners deliver better results through better implementation.
Job Description
We work with leaders in the public sector (government, philanthropy, non-profits) to turn ambitious goals into real-world results. Increasingly, this means not only advising on what should be done, but defining, building, and deploying solutions that make change possible.
As an AI Product Manager, you will sit at the intersection of client insight, product thinking, and delivery execution. You will translate complex, often ambiguous government priorities into clear, buildable products, and work alongside software engineers and consulting teams to ensure those solutions are delivered and adopted.
Core Responsibilities.
This is a contractor role embedded within small, high-performing delivery teams, where product ownership and execution are tightly integrated. In this role, you will:
Translate delivery needs into buildable products
• Turn project priorities into clear, structured Product Request Documents (PRDs)
• Convert PRDs into precise technical specifications that engineers can execute without ambiguity
• Ensure what is being built is scoped, prioritized, and feasible within delivery timelines
• Identify and resolve risks early, including scope gaps, data limitations, and delivery blockers
Work closely with consulting and engineering teams
• Partner with consulting teams to understand delivery goals and translate them into product requirements
• Align engineers and consultants around a shared understanding of what is being built and why
• Act as the bridge between delivery teams and technical execution without duplicating roles
• Support teams in structuring problems and making product-driven decisions
Own delivery and execution
• Own the product lifecycle from scoping through deployment within live engagements
• Coordinate across consulting teams, engineers, and leadership to maintain momentum
• Manage timelines, priorities, and trade-offs to ensure consistent progress
• Define clear success criteria and ensure delivery leads to measurable outcomes
Drive clarity and accountability
• Bring structure to complex, fast-moving projects
• Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and progress clearly across teams
• Maintain focus on outcomes over process
• Operate with autonomy and accountability in high-stakes delivery environments
Mindsets.
We work well with people that are:
Required Skills/Experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, technology consulting, or digital transformation
• Experience with AI and data-driven solutions, with the ability to assess feasibility and timelines
• Demonstrated track record of turning ambiguous client needs into scoped, delivered solutions
• Ability to write structured product requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications
• Good facilitation skills, including leading discussions with diverse stakeholders and aligning priorities
• Ability to work with engineers and data scientists to scope technical work
• Professional English and Portuguese required
• Must be based in and have work authorization in Brazil
What Will Set You Apart.
• Experience navigating governments
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in professional contexts
• Background in sectors such as urban development, public health, education, or social policy
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver digital or data products
What We Offer.
• Meaningful work that contributes to solving complex social challenges around the world
• Ongoing learning and growth through mentorship and leadership opportunities
• Opportunity to shape a new model of delivery at the intersection of consulting, product, and AI
