What We're Looking For
We are seeking two QA Engineers - Online Banking (level II and Senior) to join our Online Banking and Mobile Banking teams. The level/title will be determined throughout the interview process based on skills/experience in relation to the role. You will contribute to developing test cases, building automation, and performing testing on the services and applications that make up Cross River's COS platform. The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, and scalable services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to perform manual and automated testing across Online Banking and Mobile Banking applications
- Contribute to building and maintaining test automation across critical business domains
- Participate in planning, triage, and prioritization of testing activities
- Write and execute test cases for functional, regression, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused culture within the team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation
- Working knowledge of C#; experience with Specflow/Reqnroll is a plus
- 1+ years of experience with SQL
- 1+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working in banking, finance, crypto, or fintech is helpful but not required

We’re looking for an Analyst, IT Compliance to join our Technology team and help ensure our systems, vendors, and internal processes meet legal, regulatory, and security standards. We are looking for a Software Engineer II to focus on solutions for our AI Transformation team. You will work in-office at least three days per week at our Fort Lee, New Jersey headquarters. With guidance from your Engineering Manager and a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with an AI strategy team and collaborate face-to-face with business stakeholders to deeply understand their problems, cut through surface-level descriptions to identify root challenges, and write the code that solves real problems. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components
- Build backend systems using a mix of technologies. Languages may include C# (.NET 10), Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Databases may include PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Infrastructure includes AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Implement, test, and iterate on software solutions that address both short-term and long-term considerations with a maintainable, sustainable mindset
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience developing enterprise systems in modern, current object-oriented languages, with at least 2+ years of C#
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Experience working with AI assistive and agentic code generation (e.g. Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)

What We’re Looking For
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Systems, the VP, BSM leads the delivery of the most complex IT programs driving program execution, governance, and strategic alignment. This role is a hands-on, product-oriented role that sits at the intersection of business needs and modern data tooling. You’ll own the delivery of high-impact applications without owning backend infrastructure. You will guide solution delivery from the enterprise systems perspective, partnering with technical teams (data engineering, platform teams, architects) and business stakeholders to drive value-focused application development. Your role centers on solution execution and stakeholder alignment, not platform-level architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Own large-scale, strategic programs cutting across departments and domains
- Define and improve delivery governance frameworks
- Partner with senior IT and business leaders to align priorities and execution
- Gather and refine product and business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams during development cycles
- Conduct functional validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and feedback loops for newly built systems
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of program or portfolio leadership in Enterprise IT

Cross River’s AI Transformation team is a newly formed group of problem solvers passionate about bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and real-world business needs. Based in-office at our Fort Lee, New Jersey headquarters, we work face-to-face with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, adopt and adapt AI tools, and build sustainable solutions. What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our AI Transformation team (official title: "AVP, Engineering").. This is a hands-on leadership role—approximately 60% engineering and 40% people and project management—where you will work in-office at least three days per week at our Fort Lee, New Jersey headquarters. You will collaborate closely with an AI strategy team and collaborate face-to-face with business stakeholders to deeply understand their problems, cut through surface-level descriptions to identify root challenges, and determine the most efficient path to solutions. You will guide your team and partners through a solution journey, ensuring the business comes along every step of the way. We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, identifies high-impact opportunities—from quick wins to complex, less obvious challenges—and applies strong engineering discipline to deliver sustainable, AI-centered or augmented outcomes.
People & Project Management Responsibilities (~40%):
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of engineers and QA professionals with empathy, trust, and a focus on individual growth
- Foster a culture that promotes sharing ideas, taking calculated risks, and learning from setbacks
- Plan, triage, and prioritize work across multiple initiatives with lifecycles ranging from two weeks to three months
- Guide business partners through the solution journey—helping them understand tradeoffs, come along with the process, and stay focused on the problem rather than prescribing solutions
Engineering Responsibilities (~60%):
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, flexible, and reusable components and solutions leveraging AWS AI tools and services and internally-designed components, evolving into a flexible, resilient, and reusable platform
- Utilize engineering best practices to implement AI-centered and augmented solutions with a sustainable, auditable, and maintainable mindset
- Collaborate with the AI strategy enablement team to adopt, adapt, and optimize the latest AI tools for real-world business problems
- Document solution architectures, design decisions, and technical approaches collaboratively with the team and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering (a mix of front-end, back-end, API, security, and other best practices), with progressive leadership or management responsibilities
- 6+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, and the Microsoft development ecosystem deployed via AWS
- 6+ years of experience in real-time data management (SQL, NoSQL, caching)
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps disciplines (GIT or Azure Devops, Terraform, Python)
- 3+ years of experience leading, empathetically managing engineering teams and interfacing with product and business organizations
- 2+ years of experience or strong interest in AI/ML tooling, integrations, and the practical application of AI to business problems
- Experience managing initiatives with short-to-medium lifecycles (weeks to months), in an ambiguous, fast-evolving, collaborative, and iterative environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in the financial industry (FinTech or traditional banking)
- Loves ambiguity, energized by undefined problems and the opportunity to shape solutions from the ground up and identify next steps and actions
- Identifies potential to show impact quickly while also recognizing and tackling harder, less obvious challenges

What We're Looking For
Cross River Bank is seeking a VP of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to build and lead a modern, risk-aligned, and automation-forward IAM program. Reporting to the VP of IT Security Engineering, this strategic and technical leader will drive the design, governance, and execution of IAM capabilities across our cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
This role will be instrumental in maturing our identity lifecycle management, enforcing least privilege, and enhancing secure access governance—while ensuring compliance with FFIEC, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the bank’s IAM vision, roadmap, and architecture, aligned with security, compliance, and business goals.
- Build, lead, and mentor a small but high-performing IAM team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Champion secure and scalable IAM practices across business units, product teams, and infrastructure domains.
- Partner with Engineering and Compliance to enhance identity governance maturity.
Lifecycle Management & Automation
- Oversee the design and automation of Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes.
- Drive implementation of access request workflows and access reviews through tools like ServiceNow, with tight policy enforcement and auditability.
- Reduce identity sprawl by enforcing role-based and attribute-based access controls (RBAC/ABAC).
- Support federated SSO and MFA rollout across all SaaS applications to eliminate shadow IT.
Privileged Access & Governance
- Lead the rationalization and control of privileged access across AWS, Azure (PIM), and legacy AD environments.
- Partner with Security Engineering and Audit to execute regular access reviews and design SoD frameworks.
- Define access certification cycles with actionable outputs for business owners.
Cloud & SaaS Identity
- Guide cloud identity strategies for Azure, AWS, and SaaS ecosystems to ensure secure and scalable access models.
- Collaborate with Engineering to securely onboard new SaaS vendors under centralized identity management and SSO.
Audit & Compliance
- Maintain IAM controls to meet FFIEC, SOC 2, and PCI DSS standards, and respond effectively to FDIC audits.
- Establish clear KPIs and metrics for IAM hygiene, access review coverage, and lifecycle automation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in IAM, Information Security, or IT Risk roles, with 3+ years in a people management or technical leadership capacity.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Azure AD, CyberArk, Okta), ideally in a financial services or regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of identity lifecycle automation, JML workflows, RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and PAM principles.
- Proven success aligning IAM strategy with risk, audit, and compliance functions.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) and modern identity protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM).
- Strong communication, influencing, and documentation skills; able to evangelize IAM to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience implementing or integrating with HRIS systems like Workday and ITSM systems like ServiceNow is a plus.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certs.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience developing enterprise systems in C#
- 6+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- nHibernate / Entity Framework
- Strong communication skills
- Experience or understanding of Domain Driven Design
- Cloud Architecture - preferably AWS
