POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to our SVP, Sales, we are looking for an experienced Principal Sales Engineer. You will understand and assess/scope client requirements, prepare and present demos of our platform, and address and overcome technical objections that arise throughout the sales process by serving as a trusted solution and technical advisor. On a normal workday, you can expect to spend a lot of time in meetings with potential clients and your sales rep colleagues, describing the technical features of Cordial’s products in great detail, and creating strategies to drive sales.
YOU WILL
- Take the driver’s seat. You will drive the technology exploratory stages of the sales process with our prospects and act as a technical leader for our sales organization.
- Be the "Product Hero" that showcases the flexibility of Cordial's platform to each of your prospects' unique needs.
- Show-off your technical chops. You will provide day-to-day product/technical support and enablement to our sales team. You’ll be considered a product expert.
- Know the industry. You will provide feedback to senior management and our product team on feature requirements, value proposition and competitive data. You will keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, and know relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
- Play a key role in helping to onboard new sales and pre-sales resources as Cordial continues to scale.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership, Product and Engineering to capture best practices and help to systematize how we deliver a world-class pre-sales experience.
- Be a key contributor in standing up and capitalizing on Loopio, our new RFP Response Platform.
- Offer a critical eye on all deals that you are either involved in or aware of.
ABOUT YOU
- You are seasoned. You hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of experience as a Sr Sales/Solution Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related field in SaaS.
- You find templated demos boring and always challenge the status quo.
- You are articulate. You are able to clearly and concisely articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users (proactively connecting the dots for our prospects).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$170,000.00-$195,000.00 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious builder to join our team in the role of Senior Applied AI Engineer. In this role, you will be a primary contributor to our suite of AI capabilities within the Cordial platform. You will work to pull in frontier AI work to help our customers be more efficient and leveraged within the platform.

Role Overview
We are looking to add a Data Scientist – Production Engineering to our data science team. This role focuses on operationalizing, optimizing, and scaling data science models and systems that are already in production or transitioning into production.
Our data science work extends beyond traditional machine learning and includes statistical models, optimization logic, heuristics, rules-based systems, ML and LLM models, all operating on large, real-world datasets. This role is designed to strengthen the implementation and performance side of our data science stack while working closely with data scientists, engineering and product teams. This role requires someone who can ramp up quickly, work independently, and contribute meaningfully without extensive onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing data science models and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Translate research-grade or prototype data science code into production-ready implementations
- Work with large datasets and improve efficiency related to memory usage, runtime, and compute cost
- Contribute to and maintain production data pipelines and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with other data scientists to preserve model intent, correctness, and assumptions while improving implementation quality
- Debug and resolve issues in production or near-production data science workflows
- Improve robustness, monitoring, and maintainability of deployed models and pipelines
- Support iterative model improvements and system evolution as business needs change
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, plus 3+ years of experience working with real-world, industry, or production data in a data science, applied ML, or analytics role
- Demonstrated experience contributing to production data science or analytics systems, not only exploratory or academic projects
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience writing maintainable, production-quality code
- Experience working with large datasets and performance-sensitive workflows
- Prior experience with data pipelines and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, etc.)
- Cloud platform expertise, particularly AWS services (Glue, Athena, ECS, S3 Tables, etc.) for scalable data processing and model deployments
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) including query optimization, clustering strategies, and cost management
- Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for handling enterprise-scale event datasets
- Solid understanding of data science fundamentals, including statistics and modeling concepts, sufficient to work closely with research-oriented data scientists
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in an existing codebase and system
- Experience working in small, fast-moving teams where ownership and autonomy are expected

$140,000.00 - $175,000.00 base salary annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Cordial Solutions Engineer is the team member regarded as the Cordial subject matter expert. You will be responsible for guiding Cordial clients through a successful implementation of the platform, third party integrations, and providing solutions for complex and unique use cases.
YOU WILL
- Be client obsessed. You will consult with clients directly as a subject matter expert of the Cordial platform. You will assist clients in understanding how they can apply new product features and enhancements to align with their business goals. And you will develop and share best practices to clients. Clients will adore you.
- Make implementations look easy. You will help clients implement Cordial’s RESTful API and JavaScript Snippet into their marketing stack and maximize the value generated from the Cordial platform. Easy breezy.

You will enable clients to use dynamic scripting for email language and machine learning capabilities. As a Strategic Sales Director, you’ll play a critical role in driving new business and shaping our continued success. YOU WILL
- Drive strategic growth by self-sourcing and qualifying enterprise opportunities within a vertical and semi-regional focus. Target industries include retail, digital publishing, gaming, travel, and hospitality.
- Lead high-value, consultative sales cycles, consistently closing seven-figure SaaS deals by aligning Cordial’s solutions with the business needs of executive stakeholders.
- Engage and influence senior leaders (CMOs, CTOs, VPs of Digital/Ecommerce, and Product/Customer Experience Executives) by leveraging deep industry expertise and high EQ.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities across marketing, IT, and leadership functions within enterprise accounts.
- Leverage marketing and event-generated leads while taking a proactive "hunter" approach to source and close net new ARR.
- Identify and develop strong champions, navigate complex layered buyer environments, execute technical selling, and master Cordial’s platform to deliver value-driven solutions that differentiate us in the market.

ABOUT YOU
- 8+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions with a proven track record of self-sourcing and closing enterprise deals exceeding $1M.
- Experience in ESP, Personalization, CDP, or adjacent MarTech industries is preferred.
- Deep network within B2C organizations, engaging executives in digital, eCommerce, marketing, and customer experience roles.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for supporting the technical success of a portfolio of Cordial’s clients in conjunction with our team of Client Success Managers (CSM). The TAM is the primary technical point of contact for our clients, a deeply involved client-facing partner, and works diligently to advocate and align technology and expertise on behalf of the client. The TAM has the technical aptitude to bridge the conversations and project work between our clients and Cordial’s product and engineering teams. This role supports our CSM’s in owning the technical relationship with our clients and driving deeper platform adoption. Key focus areas include owning the technical client relationship and being willing to roll up your sleeves to get “dirty”, empowering our clients to get comfortable with the Cordial platform to drive more autonomy, and recommending solutions to increase the technical value of Cordial’s platform.
YOU WILL
- Be the technical owner of a portfolio of accounts and work with the Client Success and Client Solutions team to meet the clients’ needs.
- Have a deep understanding of Cordial’s platform capabilities and value proposition to implement in order to demonstrate and/or implement solutions to meet client objectives.
- Be client-obsessed. You will consult with clients directly as a subject matter expert of the platform. You will assist clients in understanding how they can apply new product features and enhancements to align with their business goals. And you will develop and share best practices to clients. - Think “big picture.” You will learn, comprehend, and internalize the client's definition of success with regards to Cordial and the client’s broader business. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of business challenges faced by clients and objectives to appropriately map Cordial features and business benefits to address client needs.
- Act as a Project Manager. You will create and deliver technical success plans for each client and ensure the broader Client Experience team (CSM’s, Solutions, and Deliverability teams) stays on task to achieve agreed upon goals as stated in the plan.
- Be a problem solver. The ability to problem solve both strategic campaign challenges related to client messaging programs and the technical solutions implemented for our clients is a must.
- Take the driver’s seat in technical areas. You will support our CSM’s in driving timely renewals and upsells. You will focus on the continual expansion of Cordial’s integration with the client to drive even greater levels of client success.
- Collaborate all day, everyday. You will work closely across all functions of the Client Experience team to ensure Cordial is continuously meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations.
ABOUT YOU
- Must be based in Japan and fluent in both Japanese and English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively in a bilingual business environment.
- You are seasoned. You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 4+ years working in a technical solutions, project or client management role (both commercial and enterprise) at a SaaS company, preferably with experience in CRM.
- You describe yourself as “more technical” than a typical CSM. Not only can you manage and solve business issues for your clients, but technical ones too.
- You’re a relationship builder. You love working with and building long term relationships with all levels of a client’s organization.
- You are a Self-Starter. You are independent, organized, a problem solver, and passionate about detail.
- Communication is a breeze for you. You have excellent written and oral communications skills, especially in a business setting. You have a knack of communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You navigate well in organizations. You have a recipe for success working cross functionally, ideally with Product, Engineering and Sales. You’re a perfect team player. Ok, not everyone is perfect.
- You project manage in your sleep. You are capable of managing multiple projects and clients at the same time.
- You don’t mind a little chaos. You have a track record of delivering phenomenal results in a dynamic, autonomous start-up environment.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU
- Have experience in the enterprise marketing automation industry.
- Have used Tools such as: Monday.com, Harvest (Time Tracking), Client Success, JIRA, etc.
- Have experience working with email marketing and digital marketing technologies, including personalization and optimization technologies, and advanced marketing automation.
- Have experience with SQL, AWS, Javascript or PHP
