About the Role
Data Analysts are the people who form a marriage of minds with product, marketing and commercial managers and provide them the insights they need to drive improvements in their products. They explore data, create impactful visualizations and visualization and design and analyze experiments to fuel team learning and innovation. Over time, as both the learning needs and the analysts' understanding of how to address them mature, they build their understanding into self-service insights dashboards that enable learnings to be generated without the direct support of data professionals. This creates the opportunity to go deeper on other areas. It’s a role where mastery in metric setting, visualization, data storytelling, experimentation and partnering come together to facilitate team measurement and learningwithin their daily rhythms.
What you’ll do in 12 months
- Transform our understanding of how users discover and order food through behavioral insights: Collaborate with Marketplace and Menu teams to understand user behaviors and drivers behind their interactions with our platform. Uncover patterns and trends in menu discovery, evaluation and ordering actions, informing the improvement of the marketplace experience. Success will be measured by the number of insights that have led to improvements in user experience and engagement metrics, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and retention.
- Enable self-service insights where you can: Develop intuitive, interactive data visualizations in Tableau that empower stakeholders to easily explore and understand key metrics and trends. Create storytelling narratives within the dashboard that guide users through the data, enabling them to derive actionable insights independently. Success will be measured by the adoption of the dashboard among stakeholders and the frequency of use in decision-making processes, indicating improved data literacy.
- Define metrics and customer segments to gain further insights: Define relevant metric frameworks (behavioral and performance) and user segmentations that align to the learning goals of the team. Work with the product teams to prove your segmentations can be used to build more personalized customer experience. Success will be measured by the change in metrics as a result of improved feature targeting, prioritization and personalization.
- Help with the product teams scale up early testing and controlled experiments: Design, support execution of and analyze (semi-)controlled experiments. Leverage platforms to enable self-serve conclusions about success, but provide hands on support to understand in-test behaviors. Produce learnings and work closely with user experience researchers to help the product teams understand the why of their successes and failures. Success will be measured by the number of major product features where roll out and full development is evidenced through early testing and light touch experimentation.
- Map and clearly articulate our learning needs: Work with Product, User Research, and UX teams to understand the user and commercial challenges in their product area, converting into clearly articulated learning goals and roadmaps. Proactively identify new unknown learning needs that can inform product direction and improve the user experience. Success will be measured by the number of product iterations and innovations that successfully move the product team's success metrics, as a result of your insights.
- Drive data creation to maximize observability of user behaviors in the marketplace: Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust data collection strategies, ensuring comprehensive tracking of marketplace interactions and behaviors. Define target schemas and work with engineers to implement common schemas design principles and conventions as needed to maintain data quality and integrity at source. Success will be achieved by ensuring complete and accurate data collection, enabling a clear understanding of Marketplace performance through well-defined and reliable data sources.
- Be a multiplier for other analysts in the team: Help the mid and senior engineers in the team make stretch improvements in their already strong code quality and analytical problem solving. Be the strongest insights producer in the team and the data vizard that everyone looks to for tips on how to improve their own analytics practices. Success will be measured by both the observable growth in the team (e.g. more impactful insights, more self-service insights enabled) and the direct feedback you get from them about the positive impact you’re having on their practices.

The role:
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Data Science/ML who will drive CookUnity's next phase of product innovation through forward-looking data science capabilities. This role goes beyond traditional analytics—you'll be responsible for building the ML and experimentation foundation that enables personalized, intelligent product experiences at scale.
As Senior Manager, you'll own the strategic vision for how data science shapes our product roadmap. You'll build and lead a team focused on predictive modeling, personalization, experimentation frameworks, and emerging ML capabilities that directly impact customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value. This is a high-impact role for someone who thinks strategically about the future of product science while remaining hands-on in driving technical execution.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Product Partnership
- Define and execute the product data science strategy, identifying opportunities where ML and predictive analytics can unlock step-change improvements in customer experience and business outcomes
- Partner closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, and UX leadership to influence product roadmap with data-driven insights and forward-looking ML capabilities
- Act as a thought leader on emerging data science techniques (personalization, recommendation systems, causal inference, generative AI) and their application to product problems
- Translate complex product challenges into clear data science problems with measurable success criteria
- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle for product use cases: problem framing, feature development, model training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Partner with the Growth Data Science & Analytics team to align experimentation, measurement, and modeling efforts into a cohesive end-to-end data science ecosystem.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product data science team capable of delivering both strategic insights and production ML systems
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the data science organization
- Create career development pathways that attract and retain top data science talent
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to ensure seamless model deployment and monitoring
Advanced Analytics & ML Capabilities
- Own and evolve personalization and recommendation systems that drive engagement and conversion across the customer journey
- Design and implement robust experimentation frameworks that enable rapid, high-quality product testing and learning
- Develop causal inference methodologies to understand true incrementality of product changes.
- Ensure models are observable, explainable where needed, and continuously improved post-launch
Product Measurement & Impact
- Define product success metrics and measurement frameworks that align with business objectives
- Build scalable dashboards and monitoring systems that provide real-time visibility into product performance
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior patterns to uncover opportunities for product optimization
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in leadership roles managing data scientists or ML engineers
- Proven track record building and deploying ML models in production, particularly in personalization, recommendation systems, or predictive modeling
- Deep expertise in experimentation and causal inference, including A/B testing, incrementality measurement, and statistical rigor
- Strong product sense and business acumen—ability to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into data science initiatives
- Experience in consumer tech, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses where personalization and user engagement are critical
- Excellent communication skills—ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence product strategy
- Hands-on technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Snowflake) and ML Ops tools (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow)
Preferred requirements:
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Experience with real-time ML systems and feature stores
- Background in recommendation systems or two-tower/multi-modal embeddings
- Familiarity with generative AI and LLM applications in product contexts
- Experience building data science teams from scratch or through periods of rapid growth
- Prior work in subscription businesses or retention-focused products
- Knowledge of modern product analytics tools (Amplitude, MixPanel, Looker)
What Success Looks Like
- 6 months: Established product data science roadmap aligned with business priorities; shipped at least one high-impact ML model to production; built strong partnerships with Product and Engineering leadership
- 12 months: Scaled the product data science function with key hires; delivered measurable improvements in personalization and customer engagement metrics; implemented robust experimentation frameworks used across product teams

The role
CookUnity is looking for a Senior Analyst, Growth Analytics – CRM to own and scale our CRM analytics strategy. In this role, you will help deepen customer relationships, optimize retention, and drive lifetime value by building the measurement and insights engine behind our lifecycle marketing programs. You’ll partner with Marketing, Product, and Data Engineering to ensure CRM decision-making is data-driven and tied directly to business impact.
What You’ll Do

- Define and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate CRM campaigns, personalization initiatives, and lifecycle journeys.

- Build reporting and analysis to identify customer behaviors and signals that drive repeat orders, upgrades, and long-term loyalty.

- Ensure CRM decision-making is data-driven, linking campaign outcomes directly to revenue and retention.
- Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership with clear storytelling and high-quality visualizations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, with a strong focus on CRM, lifecycle, or growth analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL; ability to pull, transform, and validate large data sets independently.
- Proven track record of applying measurement and experimentation techniques, including using statistical testing techniques, to evaluate CRM initiatives.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to turn complex data into actionable strategies for Marketing and Product leaders.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken, given HQ presence in the U.S.
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, comfortable framing ambiguous problems and driving solutions with cross-functional partners.

- Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for Smart Fridges (hardware, software, ops, and UX).

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, with a strong focus on CRM, lifecycle, or growth analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL; ability to pull, transform, and validate large data sets independently.
- Proven track record of applying measurement and experimentation techniques, including using statistical testing techniques, to evaluate CRM initiatives.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to turn complex data into actionable strategies for Marketing and Product leaders.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken, given HQ presence in the U.S.

The role:
Analytics Engineers at CookUnity are data product owners who sit in a single team on a mission to minimize time spent by analysts and data scientists discovering, understanding and preparing data before launching into their work. Each analytics engineer has ownership and autonomy over a set of entities / tables in a domain, collaborating on a single data design from first principles that the team owns together. As their products mature they merchandise them as Tableau Connections, extracts into sheets or any other end point needed to achieve their mission.
Some analytics engineers have an interest in data infrastructure and integrations, others in bringing their data to life through interactive visualizations but all have the skills to work with unruly raw data, design analytics friendly data products (incl entities and flat tables) and build them to a production standard that the whole company can rely on. Responsibilities:

Own Core Data Products
Design, build, and maintain dbt models in Snowflake that reflect key business logic and serve as reliable sources of truth. Define clear ownership, usage expectations, and roadmaps for your data products.

Build Trustworthy, Scalable Models
Develop models that are easy to use, tested, documented, and serve a wide range of stakeholders. Measure success through usage metrics, reduced support needs, and SLA coverage.

Ensure Reliability and Observability
Monitor pipelines, track schema changes, and implement testing and alerting to ensure consistent data quality and uptime.

Drive Iteration Through Feedback
Collect and act on feedback from users. Use metrics, interviews, and usage logs to continuously improve your data products and documentation.

Advance AI Adoption in Analytics
Champion the use of agentic and AI-assisted tools in data workflows. Lead pilots, measure impact, and scale successful practices across the team.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Work with Engineering, Product, and Ops to align on metrics, instrumentation, experimentation, and data needs.

Mentor and Raise the Bar
Review code, guide design decisions, and share knowledge to elevate the craft of Analytics Engineering within the team.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar role working with modern data stacks (dbt, Fivetran/Airbyte, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery, etc.)
- Deep understanding of data modeling principles (e.g. dimensional modeling, ELT best practices, testing strategies, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL and version control (Git), with experience shipping production-quality data pipelines
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Operations, etc.) to translate business needs into data solutions
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments, with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Hex, Looker) and a passion for enabling self-serve data culture
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

About the Role
We’re hiring for an experienced ML-focused Data Scientist to own growth-oriented modeling across the customer lifecycle - acquisition, activation, retention, resurrection and monetization. You’ll work alongside other data scientist to design, validate, and productionize statistical and ML systems (pLTV, churn/survival, uplift/incrementality, lookalikes, clustering/embeddings, NBA/ranking) that directly drive growth. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mathematical/statistical foundations, broad modeling experience, and pragmatic MLOps chops who can lead experiments and partner closely with Marketing, Engineering, CRM, and Product.
What you’ll do…
- Lifecycle modeling: Build and maintain predictive LTV, churn (including survival/time-to-event), order-rate, and resurrection models that feed acquisition, CRM, and retention strategies.
- Acquisition & lookalikes: Create lookalike / propensity models for paid channels and audience construction; optimize CAC vs LTV tradeoffs.
- Next-Best-Action & personalization: Develop NBA/ranking models, small-scale recommenders and embedding-based similarity systems to increase activation and orders.
- Unsupervised & representation learning: Lead segmentation, clustering, embeddings and representation work that create actionable cohorts and features.
- Production & MLOps: Own the full model lifecycle - training pipelines, CI/CD, model registries, containerized deployment, monitoring, retraining and drift detection; partner with engineers to operationalize models into CRM, marketplace and paid channels.
- Model governance & reproducibility: Ensure models are well-tested, explainable, calibrated, and auditable; document assumptions, limitations and business mappings.
- Cross-functional influence: Translate technical work into product recommendations, dashboards and clear narratives for Growth, Marketing and Engineering. Mentor peers and raise modeling and MLOps standards.
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years in data science, applied ML or statistics, with a track record of shipping production models.
- Strong math & statistics: probability, inference, regression, survival analysis/time-to-event, causal reasoning, and familiarity with statistical modeling tradeoffs.
- End-to-end ML experience: experience building, validating and deploying classification/regression/ensemble/deep models; comfort with embeddings and representation learning.
- MLOps & production skills: pragmatic experience with model CI/CD, model registries (MLFlow or similar), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Airflow), and runtime infra (K8s / ECS).
- Software engineering & tooling: Python (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM, PyTorch/TensorFlow optional), strong code hygiene, testing and reproducibility.
- Product & stakeholder collaboration: excellent communication, ability to embed with Growth/CRM/Marketing and translate models into product decisions.
- Education: BS in a quantitative field required; MS/PhD in statistics, math, CS, economics or similar preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in subscription marketplaces, food-tech, or consumer marketplaces.
- Familiarity with feature stores, Snowflake/BigQuery, and production monitoring tools.
- Experience with causal libraries (EconML), uplift frameworks, or survival modeling packages.
- Prior work on small-scale recommender systems, embeddings, or NLP personalization.
