Consumer Edge is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new logo growth across financial services accounts (investors using alternative data within hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, etc) in the North American region (NAMER). This is a strategic hunting role for a seller who knows how to build a market, prioritize a book of target accounts, create a robust pipeline through direct outreach, and convert opportunities into profitable, long-term client relationships.
This person will be exceptional at strategic account planning, with a keen understanding of the competitive landscape and our products. They will use a structured approach to segment and prioritize prospects, map buying committees, identify triggers, and focus time on the highest-value opportunities. They will be highly effective at outbound prospecting, consistently securing meetings through their own efforts while also partnering closely with SDRs and Marketing to maximize campaign, event, and nurture-driven pipelines.
Success in this role requires strong commercial judgment, a proactive operating cadence, and best-in-class sales execution across storytelling, discovery, negotiation, and closing. As the latest NAMER hire, this individual will play a critical role in shaping our regional growth strategy and establishing Consumer Edge as a trusted partner to the investment community as we further scale in both $1B+ investors and the long tail of investors below $1B and across new investor types in Family Offices and other firm types.

The Opportunity
Consumer Edge has built a leadership position with the top tier of institutional investors — global hedge funds, large asset managers, and sovereign wealth funds — where our alternative data platform commands premium pricing and deep retention. That foundation is strong. The next chapter is bigger.
We are hiring a senior commercial leader to architect and execute the expansion of CE's Financial Services franchise well beyond its current client base into the full spectrum of institutional capital: macro funds, credit funds, long-only managers, PE and VC firms, and the long tail of emerging managers across all AUM bands. This leader will also build the partnership and channel motions that let CE reach segments where a direct sales model alone won't scale.
This is a builder's role with a clear strategic mandate: penetrate a large, global serviceable market where CE's current penetration ranges below the top tier funds.

Role Summary
We are seeking a commercially driven Strategic Account Manager to own and grow high-value relationships across our most important Hedge Fund and Institutional Investment clients. Unlike a traditional “farmer,” this role is designed for a strategic seller who will expand our relationships across these firms to net new teams and upward to senior leadership.
You will be responsible for full revenue ownership across a defined portfolio, including renewals, expansions, cross-sells, and multi-stakeholder adoption. Success in this role requires high-touch client engagement, disciplined pipeline execution, and relentless focus on maximizing Net ARR growth within each account.
