OVERVIEW
The position of Garage Door Installer for Construction Resources is responsible for the Installation of residential overhead garage doors, light duty commercial roll-up doors and electric operators. Requires ability to demonstrate effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Will effectively manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiency and meet commitments, while building strong relationships with Builders and customers. Requires excellent customer service and good communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install residential overhead garage doors, light duty commercial roll-up doors and electric operators
- Follow installation best practices and training guidelines provided
- Follow established company safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Effectively manage time and resources to complete work order forms and other required paperwork in accordance with company standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Mechanically adept individuals who can lift up to 80 pounds
- Experience working with basic hand and power tools *
- Previous construction experience preferred, but not necessary
- Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record
- Capability of working flexible hours (average 40 to 50 hours per week)

OVERVIEW
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and testing household and commercial appliances, ensuring they are set up correctly and safely for our customers. You will also provide basic instruction on proper use and care of appliances, helping to deliver a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver appliances to customer homes or job sites.

Install and connect appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and microwaves according to manufacturer specifications.

Ensure proper water, electrical, and gas connections are secure and in compliance with safety regulations.

Test appliances after installation to confirm proper functionality.
-
Educate customers on basic appliance operation and maintenance.
-
Remove old appliances and prepare them for recycling or disposal as needed.
-
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and service calls.
-
Keep work vehicle and tools organized and in good condition.

Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in appliance installation, HVAC, plumbing, or related trade preferred.

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and gas connections.

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances (up to 75–100 lbs).

Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fireplace Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of fireplaces, including gas, electric, and wood-burning units, in residential and commercial settings. You will ensure all installations meet safety codes, manufacturer specifications, and customer expectations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble fireplaces, stoves, and inserts according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Perform site assessments and measurements to ensure proper fit and compliance with ventilation requirements.
- Run venting systems, gas lines, and electrical connections as needed for each installation (in compliance with regulations).
- Inspect and troubleshoot existing fireplace units to diagnose problems and perform repairs or maintenance.
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and lifting devices for installation tasks.
- Provide clear communication with customers about product operation, maintenance, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including job site cleanup after installation.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any additional recommendations for service.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
- Previous experience as a fireplace installer, HVAC technician, or similar trade preferred.
- Knowledge of gas, venting, and electrical systems (licensing or certification may be required based on state/local codes).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and installation guides.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, tight spaces, heights).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
