What You Will Do

The Store Host  is responsible for granting or denying access to the Connected Retail stores, while providing basic customer service skills such as greet the customers, opening and closing the door for each customer, and create a welcoming environment.  The Store Host is also responsible for aiding when customer situations need to be deescalated, and partnering with onsite Security, Management, and/or contacting local authorities when needed.  They will also help as safety escorts for employees and customers to and from their vehicles as needed.  In certain locations, the Store Host will also act in the capacity of the Parking Lot Attendant and may perform duties of a Parking Lot Attendant directing traffic during peak periods of business. The Store Host is constantly alert and aware of their surroundings and the general ongoings of the facility and will observe and report any suspicious activities through the proper channels.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create a customer friendly environment by greeting and welcoming customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner
• Assist in de-escalating situations in which customers are unhappy with current circumstances and provide customer soft skills to change behaviors.  Partner with Management and Security if situations continue to escalate and further actions need to be taken.
• Grant and/or denying access to the facility by checking IDs and ensure all customers have proper government issued IDs and are of legal age 
• Kindly refuse entry to intoxicated and disruptive persons
• Provide safety escort of employees and customers to and from their vehicles as needed
• Provide additional assistance to disabled and/or handicapped customers as needed or requested
• Observe and report any suspicious or unlawful activities to Management, onsite Security and/or contact local law enforcement
• Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, and fire hazards
• Occasionally assist management and/or onsite Security to complete incident reports as needed
• Check in delivery vendors and provide direction for delivery
• Ensure all visitors to the store are signed into the visitor log as required by the State Regulatory Compliance
• Contact law enforcement agency when the situation absolutely calls for it

What We Are Looking For

• Must be 21+ years old
• Work a part time schedule reflective of availability established at the time of hire, with the ability to increase/decrease hours based on business needs which may include weekends and/or holidays.
  • must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Shift times vary between the hours of 8am - 10pm
• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
• Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
• Requires normal hearing range

About the Job

Assist the store leadership team in motivating and inspiring the team to achieve store productivity goals. Ensuring the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, and both the staff and the customer experience is positive. Effectively manages store operations while ensuring consistency and compliance.

What You Will Do

• Provide managerial, operational, and financial support to General Manager
• Drive and maximize store sales, control and minimize shrink, and control payroll within budget to achieve store goals.
• Execute company directives for merchandise placement, visual displays, and signage as well as maintain company standards for cleanliness and organization within a store.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, and follow all safety standards to ensure a safe work and shopping environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
• Support the General Manager in driving team to execute their job duties, provide exceptional customer service, and offer positive resolutions to challenges and complaints from customers.
• Help recruit, train, develop, and retain qualified team members to ensure staffing needs are consistently met.
• Participate in the performance counseling of the team.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Upholds compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of the store
• Ensures product inventory is entered correctly and organized for proper purchasing
• Protects employees and customers by providing and safe and clean store environment
• Manager is aware of employee performance and interaction with patients
• Assigns workers to specific projects such as cleaning or restocking
• Notify staff of new procedures, policies and regulation updates/changes
• Create/oversee staff schedules, finding coverage if needed for sick time or personal time off
• Educate and train staff on all current and new products.
• Demonstrate ability to speak at a high level about the business.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be 21+
• High school or equivalent
• 1-2 years leadership experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, food service, or a related field
• Must be able to work a variety of hours including mornings, nights, and weekends

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position in the selected city is: $24.00- $28.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

About the Job

The Part-Time Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the store’s day to day inventory tasks, which includes inventory counts, quality checks of incoming products, labeling and organization of inventory.  They will also assist the Inventory Lead and Manager in verification of product counts and regulatory compliance standards upon deliveries.  Ensure products are received within California Track and Trace system (METRC) and ERP system and have appropriate labels before making goods available for sale.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for the labeling and tagging, organizing, counting and quality checks for all new FGI received.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist in investigating any discrepancies.
• Ensure all products entering inventory have gone through standard quality checks, for quantity verification, label verification and COA verification.
• Count, reconcile, and complete monthly inventory audits every month.
• Escalate any inventory and UID discrepancies to the Inventory Control Lead or Manager for quick resolution.
• Research inventory variances and adjustments as directed.
• Work with Inventory Manager/Lead to maintain an accurate log of inventory for disposal.
• Maintain a list of all quality hold/quarantined product.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Inventory experience in a retail or warehouse environment is a plus
• Strong math skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word
• METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience (preferred)
• Valid California Driver’s License
