Project Description
The project focuses on improving a core API platform for automated loan decisioning. The system is built with PHP and is being enhanced and modernized to improve scalability, performance, and automation.

What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient cloud-native services;
- Enhance and support API systems to improve decisioning automation;
- Collaborate with the team to modernize and evolve the current platform;
- Drive architecture and technical decisions aligned with business goals;
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems;
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development;
- Strong experience with PHP;
- Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance systems;
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Knowledge of English from Upper-Intermediate (written and spoken);
- Availability to work during US EST hours (up to 7 PM EST when required);
Nice to have:
- Experience with relational (MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases;
- Experience with microservices and backend development using Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, or Python;
- Experience in the financial industry;
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading Agile teams;
