The Senior Analyst, Client Finance is responsible for owning end-to-end revenue tracking and ensuring the integrity of client financials. This role plays a critical part in the month-end close by ensuring revenue is complete, accurate, and supported.

You will partner closely with Client Finance leadership, Production, and Operations to proactively identify risks, resolve gaps, and maintain clean financial data across all active work.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own end-to-end revenue tracking across assigned clients or business units, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Reconcile client POs and contracts to revenue, ensuring alignment and proper documentation
• Review active jobs to identify missing revenue, unbilled work, and aging or stale WIP
• Partner with billing and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Support month-end and quarter-end close by delivering accurate, audit-ready financial data
• Maintain and improve revenue tracking tools to ensure data consistency and integrity
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages and financial control documentation
• Partner with leadership to review and validate client revenue forecasts
• Proactively identify revenue risks, documentation gaps, and process breakdowns
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and revenue recognition requirements
• Drive consistency and discipline across revenue tracking processes

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience in finance, client finance, or revenue operations
• Experience with revenue tracking, WIP management, billing, or financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel (required); experience with ERP systems (e.g., Maconomy) a plus
• Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment and understanding of internal controls is a plus

The base compensation range for this role is $65,000 – $80,000 and spans multiple levels. We're open to hiring at the level that best matches the right candidate's experience. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, budget, and location.

The Associate Director of Client Finance will play a critical role in driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability across the client lifecycle. This individual will lead the client finance function, ensuring seamless workflow across project tracking, billing, cash collection, vendor payment, and financial governance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Oversee all active project records across Grail, Maconomy, and revenue tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with delivery teams
• Review project setup and scope against contracts and supporting documentation to ensure financial compliance
• Lead job reconciliations including expenses, project margin accuracy, and client billing status
• Monitor project burn rates and forecast future costs to ensure timely billing and to identify risks or inefficiencies
• Maintain and report on client revenue forecasts, ensuring visibility into pipeline and booked revenue performance
• Ensure accurate and timely billing cycles, coordinating with delivery, PM, and account teams
• Review accounts receivable aging with the collections team and take proactive steps to optimize cash flow
• Support and oversee the PO creation process to ensure seamless AP handling for freelancers, vendors, and third-party suppliers
• Manage complex production cost schedules, ensuring alignment between client funds and vendor payment obligations
• Support employees on expense reimbursement submissions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies
• Review and approve employee reimbursements for accuracy and policy adherence
• Review and approve new clients and vendor setups in Maconomy
• Cross-check financial data integrity across systems and documentation to uphold financial governance
• Support the sales team with financial data, including commission tracking and deal economics
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across client finance processes to drive accuracy, scalability, and efficiency

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience in client finance, project accounting, or a similar role within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency environment
• Strong understanding of billing workflows, project financials, and revenue recognition
• Proficiency using ERP/finance systems (Maconomy experience preferred)
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally

Our Client Finance Group ensures accurate, timely, and efficient client billing and financial operations that support both our clients and internal teams. As a Client Finance Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing client billing processes, tracking project expenses, and partnering with producers and finance leadership to uphold financial accuracy across campaigns and projects. From coordinating billing activities and reviewing vendor invoices to maintaining detailed financial records, you will help drive transparency, accountability, and seamless financial management across all client-facing initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Track client contracts and complete client billing in a timely manner
• Confirm billing requirements and approve invoices for delivery
• Review billing schedule and project status with the director of finance and financial operations manager
• Track project T&E expenses and bill back to clients. Report to producers on status of overall spend vs budget
• Collaborate with producers (project managers) and manage large production OOP budgets for campaigns and other projects
• Review vendor invoices with producers and submit to AP for payment processing
• Support producers by providing status reports of client billing, payment and other financial snapshot
• Use an internal production management tool, Grail for project status
• Manage all financial information by job in accounting system, Maconomy
