We're hiring a founding Data Scientist to build ClickHouse's Finance forecasting and measurement capability from the ground up. You'll own the forecasting models, causal measurement programs, and analytical frameworks that directly shape how leadership plans the business. You'll define the approach, build the infrastructure, and set the standard for how data science operates here.

Hybrid: We intend to fill this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, and expect this position to go into our Menlo Park office 1-2x per week. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own production revenue forecasting end-to-end: model development, backtesting, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Build forecasting systems that account for the dynamics of usage-based pricing, consumption patterns, and customer lifecycle across our cloud platform
• Design and implement causal measurement frameworks to quantify the revenue impact of product launches, pricing changes, and GTM motions
• Establish backtesting discipline and accuracy tracking as standing Finance metrics, making forecast quality visible and continuously improving
• Contribute to shared analytics infrastructure and internal tooling that accelerates data science workflows across the organization
• Translate model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for Finance, Sales, and executive leadership
• Partner with Data Engineering, Revenue Operations, and Product to build the feature pipelines and data foundations your models depend on

What You Bring Along:

• Has an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics) or equivalent depth through production experience
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML and statistical systems, with meaningful time spent on forecasting or causal inference in production
• Has deep applied statistics foundations, including comfort with time-series methods, state-space models, hierarchical approaches, or causal inference techniques
• Is highly proficient in Python and SQL, with experience productionizing models in cloud-scale data environments
• Has worked with modern analytical platforms such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Spark
• Has experience forecasting consumption-based or usage-billed businesses (cloud, API, marketplace)
• Has a bias toward action in ambiguous, early-stage environments and is comfortable defining the problem, not just solving it
• Communicates clearly with executive stakeholders and can translate complex modeling work into actionable business recommendations
• Is fluent with AI tools and workflows, including LLMs and AI coding assistants, and applies them effectively in analytical work
• Is comfortable taking ownership of open-ended problems and building new functions from scratch

We’re looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and evolve our global revenue accounting function as ClickHouse continues to scale. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our revenue reporting as we prepare for public-company readiness. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations teams to build scalable processes and bring clarity to complex revenue arrangements in a dynamic, global SaaS environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process, including contract review, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment for complex arrangements.
• Maintain and continuously enhance revenue recognition policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a scalable, pre-IPO–ready environment.
• Oversee deferred revenue and accounts receivable reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of balance sheet and P&L results.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Sales Operations to provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts and analyses.
• Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integrations to streamline revenue workflows.
• Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to revenue and receivables.
• Support the operational processes for new SKU creation, new product launches, pricing models, and business initiatives.

What You Bring Along

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years focused on revenue accounting in a SaaS or technology company.
• CPA required; Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience with revenue automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora, or Salesforce CPQ).
• Proven track record managing the revenue close process in a global, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights clearly.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team and serve as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market organizations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role which touches the full ClickHouse P&L. You will bring strong analytical skills and business acumen to drive data-driven financial decision making.

Reporting to the Director of Product Finance, you will have visibility to the Executive team and play a meaningful role in shaping how ClickHouse thinks about growth, pricing, and resource allocation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as a strategic partner from Finance to Product, Engineering, and GTM functions, bringing analytical backing to support business decisions.
• Model the financial impact of strategic initiatives across the business. Perform analysis to support investment decisions, new product launches, efficiency projects, pricing strategy, and go-to-market design.
• Track and analyze KPIs across both Product and GTM to drive improvement across the business.
• Support annual planning and monthly forecast and variance review cycles. Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership to accurately forecast the business, and measure performance against these forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting to ensure accuracy in revenue recognition, commissions, and expense allocation
• Synthesize financial results and KPIs for executive and board reporting

What You Bring Along

• 3–6 years of experience in a data-heavy analytical role, FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting, ideally with exposure to SaaS or consumption-based business models.

We’re looking for a Tax Manager to build and lead ClickHouse’s global tax function as we continue to scale and prepare for public-company readiness. This role will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll partner closely with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure compliance, manage risk, and implement scalable tax processes that support a growing international footprint and future IPO readiness.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage global income tax compliance, including preparation, review, and coordination with external advisors for U.S. federal, state, and international filings.
• Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain tax policies, controls, and documentation to support SOX and public-company requirements.
• Partner with FP&A and Accounting on forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of tax expense and cash taxes.
• Oversee indirect tax (VAT, GST, sales/use tax) compliance and registrations across global jurisdictions, collaborating with external providers as needed.
• Support transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements, and related compliance activities.
• Advise on tax implications of new business initiatives, cross-border transactions, and corporate structuring.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system integrations to streamline tax operations.
• Monitor changes in global tax legislation and assess potential impacts to the business.
• Prepare tax-related materials for management and board reporting, including tax risk assessments and planning initiatives.
• Support special projects such as IPO readiness, legal entity rationalization, and potential M&A due diligence.
  
  

What You Bring Along

• 8–10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector.
• CPA or equivalent certification required; MST or JD/LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws, with hands-on experience managing global compliance.
• Deep understanding of ASC 740, tax accounting, and financial statement disclosures.
• Experience supporting pre-IPO or public-company tax operations strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and Legal teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
