Software Engineering Manager
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a vital role in developing our Energy Management platform. In this influential position, you will help shape, build, and sustain a robust suite of micro-services. Your work will significantly affect our long-term technical
strategy. This role demands practical experience in every stage of microservice development, including architecture design, coding, deployment, and monitoring.
What You Will Be Doing
- As a member, you will participate in major initiatives and opportunities, demonstrating your well-rounded skills in communication, technology, and execution to bring a project from inception to general availability for customers.
- You will play a key role in designing industry-leading standards and solutions to develop new solutions and scale ChargePoint to support real-time communication with millions of charging stations.
- As part of the Energy Management team, you will represent Cloud services by executing initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Embedded Platform, Quality, Support, and Operations.
- Your goal is not only to resolve their concerns but also to work with them to define and build better solutions. You will work on code directly impacting the business, including developing and maintaining real-time Energy Management solutions that optimise EV charging efficiency.
- Additionally, you are expected to improve the team by contributing to code reviews, documentation, and the development process. You will also champion organisational principles by helping to define and uphold them.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building back-end software
- Hands-on with JVM Language is a must, such as Java/Kotlin
- Working experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, and Kubernetes,
- Working experience with modern software architecture components (e.g. Distributed Systems, Containerization, Micro Services, Observability, etc.)
- Working experience in one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
- Good in CS fundamentals - data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Conversational AI domains.
- You will architect and build production-grade AI systems that enhance our monitoring and analytics platform, improve customer support experiences, and enable intelligent automation across our EV charging infrastructure.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that directly improve the experience for millions of EV drivers and operators worldwide.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, Django, and modern backend frameworks for AI service development
- Hands-on experience with LLM engineering: LangChain, LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock/OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures
- Strong experience with Elasticsearch including vector search, hybrid search (BM25 + dense embeddings), and semantic retrieval
- Proficiency with vector databases (Qdrant, ChromaDB, Pinecone) and embedding-based retrieval systems
- Experience building production LLM systems with focus on low-latency inference, caching strategies, and observability
- Strong foundation in distributed systems design, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (query optimization, schema design), Redis, MongoDB, and message queues
- Track record of optimizing system performance with measurable improvements (latency reduction, cost optimization)
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production
- Tech/B.E. or M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field from a top-tier institution
- Experience with Voice AI systems, telephony integrations (Genesys, SIP), and speech processing pipelines
- Background in computer vision, image processing, or visual transformer architectures
- Data engineering experience with Airflow, DBT, and analytics platforms (ClickHouse, Trino, Iceberg)
- Experience working with massive datasets (50TB+) and building scalable data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA) for domain-specific applications
- Familiarity with RLHF-style preference tuning and model alignment techniques
- Experience with observability and monitoring stacks including metrics, logging, and tracing
- Certifications in Generative AI, Agentic AI, or related specialization.

What You Will Be Doing
As a PHP Developer you will join one of our teams to help maintain and enhance our cloud-based software platform for e-mobility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of the platform, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Work together with other software developers to to align on project goals, architecture, and delivery timelines
- Implement and maintain scalable software solutions using PHP. Balance technical excellence with pragmatic solutions to deliver business value
- Leveraging GitOps, Kubernetes, and other tools to streamline deployment and infrastructure management
- Participating in architectural discussions, bringing forward innovative ideas, and constructively challenging others’ proposals
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in PHP, Relational Databases (like MySQL, Postgres), Kafka, RabbitMQ,React.
- Profound experience in backend development
- Experienced in object-oriented programming
- Experienced in designing APIs
- Experienced with event-based distributed applications
- Focus on clean and readable code
- Source code management with Git

What You Will Be Doing
- NOC Support Engineers will provide technical expertise in resolving and fixing the problems arising in the ChargePoint's array of Charging stations.
- You have to define and diagnose resolutions for the issues and drive resolution of charging stations faults, and systematically reduce critical outages and improve overall uptime of the Charging Stations.
- You will be analyzing, diagnosing, isolating and resolving problems and documenting your analysis in the case notes.
- You will also work collaboratively with other services teams.
- You learn and understand the various technological aspects of different models of the ChargePoint Charging stations and will handle the situation and drive towards faster resolution.
- You will work in a ITIL service lifecycle Framework and ensure MTTR and MTBF are achieved.
- You will Create technical documentation and make improvements to processes and procedures.
- Perform proactive preventative maintenance for both hardware and software.
- You will work in a Shift that spans 24 hours in various shift timings and you will work from the Office all 5 days of the week.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years in a technical support environment for complex hardware and software solutions
- Working experience, certifications, or bachelor’s degree in technical field
- The ideal candidate should be from any of the following experience - Network engineer - Systems engineer – Linux, Unix or Windows engineer - Backup or Storage engineer - Electrical or Electronics engineer - Technical Support engineer who has ability to understand and diagnose the technical aspect in any technological domains.
- The ideal candidate should have previous exposure and working knowledge into CLI interface of more or more flavors of Linux (ex: RedHat, Ubuntu etc). The candidate can also have working experience in Unix.
- The ideal candidate is well versed in Industry standards practices and solutions.
- The candidate should have good exposure and understanding of the Operational processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
- Understand the ITIL or any other operations Service lifecycle frameworks or Project management or quality frameworks.
- Desirable to have candidates with well versed knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Its desirable if the candidate has knowledge on Power distribution and/or power electronics fundamentals, familiarity with AC/DC EV charging protocols: CCS, CHAdeMO, J1772 etc.
- The candidate should be an excellent communicator with skills in Documentation and creating knowledge articles.
- Desirable to have worked in CRM tools like Salesforce, Servicenow, Jira etc.

What You Will Be Doing
As an AI Engineer, you will:
- Assist in developing and training ML, deep learning, and NLP models.
- Support senior engineers in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Implement basic preprocessing, feature engineering, and data validation tasks.
- Contribute to testing, evaluating, and optimizing model performance.
- Help deploy models into staging or production under guidance.
- Write clean, well‑documented Python code for AI experiments and prototypes.
- Work with APIs, model inference scripts, and small‑scale automation tasks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and techniques

- Experience building Copilot‑style or agent‑based AI systems
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices
- Experience deploying and operating systems using Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with LLMOps / MLOps practices
Good to Have
- Experience with AI governance, compliance, or regulated enterprise environments
- Experience with vector databases and retrieval optimization
- Prior ownership of AI systems running in production at scale

What you will be Doing
As the Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving gross margins through detailed analysis of billings, costs, systems, tools, processes, and metrics. A solid understanding of financial and operational metrics for the Customer Experience Business Unit, as well as operational processes including inventory management, repairs, and vendor management, is essential for this role.
What you will bring to ChargePoint
- Owning the forecasting of the Services P&L.
- Supporting and driving continuous improvements through data analytics to identify areas for margin enhancement.
- Working with the services leadership team to identify and implement operational efficiencies and process optimizations.
- Collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams to execute strategy and resolve issues.
- Reporting metrics and maintaining dashboards.
- Enabling and supporting discount reporting.
- Establishing strong, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and ongoing effectiveness.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with an MBA and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Finance or Business Operations within a customer experience function in a technology-oriented industry.
- Experience in P&L forecasting.
- Strong business acumen and analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in gross margin and profitability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS applications and advanced user of Tableau, Jira, and Confluence.
- Willingness to work during US East Coast hours.
