Position Overview:

The Line Lead, Build role is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets. This role is not visa eligible. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify team’s strengths and weaknesses; determine areas of opportunity and the appropriate steps to improve.
• Engage assigned team, provide appropriate coaching, development and performance management; offer feedback and demonstrate desired skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Travel to designated locations to perform mobile diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery.

Position Overview:

This is a supervisory position in an Inspection Center overseeing a team carrying out daily operations within a Carvana Inspection Center.. The Reconditioning Manager oversees all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process and directs at least five leads and up to 70 front line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and high associate engagement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through appropriate coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with those of the company.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Create a work and team environment that inspires positive communication, team cohesion, and adherence to Carvana’s Values.
• Maintain supervisory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Ensure progression path training and certification processes are consistently executed.
• Train and mentor leads and associates by providing competency-based feedback.
• Ensure adequate production capacity levels for each line and assist with production planning.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety and loss prevention guidelines.
• Provide vision and guidance to the reconditioning team in meeting performance metrics.

• Pay Range: $19-$20 hourly

Position Overview:

The Line Lead, Build role is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets. This role is not visa eligible. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify team’s strengths and weaknesses; determine areas of opportunity and the appropriate steps to improve.
• Engage assigned team, provide appropriate coaching, development and performance management; offer feedback and demonstrate desired skills.

Position Overview:

This is a supervisory position in an Inspection Center overseeing a team carrying out daily operations within a Carvana Inspection Center.. The Reconditioning Manager oversees all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process and directs at least five leads and up to 70 front line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and high associate engagement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

About the team and position

As a Functional Lead, you will be an integral part of the Safe and Secure Team executing programs and processes at our Headquarter facilities to ensure our team members and assets are protected. At our front desks, our Safe & Secure Associates are the face of Carvana to our employees, vendors, and visitors. As a Functional Lead, you’ll be the direct supervisor of these Associates which includes supervising their day-to-day activities as a team, providing training and coaching on proper protocols/procedures, and continuously upholding a high level of performance.

• Ensure the team properly records all incidents, ensures system information is accurate and actionable. Complete after action reviews to determine root causes of reported safety incidents and make improvement recommendations to the Manager, Corporate Security.
• Implement and monitor visitor and vendor check-in processes, providing regular team member training and coaching. 
• Implement and conduct risk assessments of our HQ facilities.
• Work with the Safe and Secure Operations Center leadership to provide support when business needs require.
• Assign work and hold team members accountable to expectations and deliverables.
• Ensure the team always has appropriate staffing that meet relevant KPIs and goals.
• Be available and onsite during business hours that could occasionally exceed 40 hours in a week. 
• Occasionally be available outside of traditional business hours, as needed. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you should know/have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in physical security operations and/or loss prevention.
• 1+ years experience directly supervising/managing a team.
• Demonstrated ability to coach team members to deliver a consistent, top-notch customer service experience. 
• Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines. 
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Able to help create, develop and implement process improvement(s).
• Crisis Management Leadership experience.

Position Overview:

This is a supervisory position in an Inspection Center overseeing a team carrying out daily operations within a Carvana Inspection Center.. The Reconditioning Manager oversees all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process and directs at least five leads and up to 70 front line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. • Lead production planning for the Inspection Center
• Ensure the Inspection Center has adequate capacity to meet production targets
• Oversee weekly performance review meetings for each area and report out on the Inspection Centers performance
• Identify problems impacting the Inspection Center’s performance. Prioritize problems, allocate resources, and ensure the resolution of issues
• Ensure operating standards such as standardized work, operating rules, 5S, and visual management tools are consistently executed
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety and loss prevention guidelines

People Management 30%

• Participate in the selection and hiring process, ensure a pipeline of associates to fill current and future positions
• Maintain a bench of candidates for each leadership position
• Ensure progression path training and certification process is consistently executed
• Model effective teamwork and ensure it’s embraced at all levels of the organization
• Provide competency-based feedback and ensure leaders throughout the organization are also providing appropriate feedback
• Mentor reconditioning managers

Continuous Improvement 10%

• Lead the selection of continuous improve events, allocate resources to support events, and hold the team accountable for results
• Participate in and lead continuous improvement efforts
• Train and mentor reconditioning managers on problem-solving

What you should have

• Minimum of 8 years of management experience either in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment leading multiple work groups
• A valid driver’s license 
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years

Position Overview:

The Line Lead, Build role is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets. This role is not visa eligible. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify team’s strengths and weaknesses; determine areas of opportunity and the appropriate steps to improve.
• Engage assigned team, provide appropriate coaching, development and performance management; offer feedback and demonstrate desired skills.

• Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment

As an Experienced Auto Technician, you will perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work—and diagnostics on our vehicles, including:

• Performing general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.
• Diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores.
