We are hiring a Customer Success - Team Manager.
To support Canonical's growth, we are expanding our CSM team globally and recruiting leaders to support and drive our Customer Success teams regionally. We are hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager, ideally a candidate with a passion for systems accounting, to drive revenue recognition process, decisions, systems and reporting.
In our finance function we aspire to set the industry pace for speed and accuracy of reporting. We aim to achieve this by driving our product pricing and terms, contracting, sales processes and systems into alignment.
We are looking for a professionally qualified accounting leader with expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 to build scalable contract review and revenue recognition processes. This lead will work across teams including product management, legal, FP&A, sales operations and commercial business systems to align understanding and ensure that the accounting and revenue recognition treatment of contracts and products is straightforward and correct, with a very high level of automation. Perhaps unusually we prefer a leader with deep personal interest in the software and technology industry, and ideally some data analytics and software engineering experience. We run such events four times a year, a significant investment in our ability to shape culture, teamwork, execution plans and strategy. Our team is responsible for travel procurement and logistics, ensuring that these events run efficiently and safely. Visas, travel complications and unexpected situations make this a complex operation to run efficiently, demanding a rigorous approach and high work ethic in the team.
This team also serves as an independent check on expense claim approval, ensuring fairness and consistency across teams and countries. This requires integrity, transparency and accountability, and a willingness to set and politely defend the same expectations of the most senior and most junior colleagues.
Together these responsibilities amount to tens of millions in operational costs and a significant number of tactical and operational decisions.
Our team also provides traditional 'EA' services for company leads, though they do this across departments and as a consistent service rather than as personal assistants; they set and deliver to expectations on specific kinds of work. In security risk management we’re looking to harness the power of industry best practice combined with driving new innovation on how we do security risk assessments and modelling. We have opened several senior/staff Security Operations Engineer (SOC) positions, creating a new team reporting to the CISO. We are looking for a range of experience in these positions - at the high end we are looking for deep experience defending highly contested critical assets and high-value cyber targets against advanced persistent threats and state-level actors. The Threat Intelligence Lead will own Canonical’s threat intelligence strategy and execution, including understanding of which cyber threat actors are targeting Canonical, and the use of intelligence on Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) to better our products and internal cybersecurity controls. This global leadership role in cyber security is to manage the Security Operations (SecOps) team responsible for design, implementation and evolution of Canonical security practices, techniques, tools, systems and policies. The team is the primary owner of strategy and practices that determine how Canonical secures its data, internal infrastructure and build processes. The role of a Treasury Analyst at Canonical
As a Treasury Analyst, you will be a key team member of the Finance team ensuring that Canonical’s global liquidity and cash movements are managed and controlled in a manner consistent with our Treasury Policy. You will support the execution of approved cash management including international intercompany funding, multi-currency transactions and FX strategies while managing the financial risks associated with global operations.

The successful Junior Project Manager will have solid academic achievement in science, software engineering and/or information technology field, excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and a solution oriented mindset. You will be able to "make things happen" with a professional approach and effective negotiation techniques. You have demonstrated leadership skills in your school or university life.

As a project manager for Canonical’s Devices business, this role is responsible for the coordination and completion of large complex customer-facing projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery and acting as the primary delivery liaison between Canonical's engineering teams and Canonical's customers.
You will be managing the projects that involve the delivery of Ubuntu images on a wide variety of devices ranging from robots, edge gateways, and IoT devices to PCs and automotive systems. This is a high-profile project management position where you are expected to build and maintain working relationships with team members, customers, other partners/vendors (Silicon vendors, OEMs, ODMs, IHVs), and other Canonical departments/teams.
Location: This role will be based remotely in the APAC region
