The Opportunity
The Manager, People Operations is a high-impact operator who combines technical rigor with strong empathy to deliver an exceptional employee experience. This role owns the execution and continuous improvement of core People programs, ensuring scalable, efficient workflows that support company growth. This position oversees the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including employee experience and engagement, HR systems administration, benefits, performance management and compliance. As a key cultural steward, the Manager, People Operations builds strong cross-functional relationships to support a high-performing, engaged workforce. This role reports to the Director, People and may manage direct reports.
This role is onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area. The compensation range for this role is market driven, with a salary range of $120,000-$150,000. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package. This offering is aligned with our overall compensation philosophy.

Cala is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our growing team. The role will work with an experienced product development team and be responsible for new design, development, testing, and driving continuous improvements for our revolutionary health products.
This is a versatile, hands-on role where adaptability and cross-functional collaboration are key. You will work on the full stack, from hardware support to the application itself, on low-power, wearable embedded systems. You will thrive if you enjoy wearing many hats, switching gears as needed between developing features for our commercial therapies, leading development on new product initiatives, and supporting the team as needed to push initiatives over the finish line, including writing and executing tests, supporting compliance testing, and owning firmware documentation.
The Senior Firmware Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will not have direct reports.

Reporting to the Company’s CFO, the Controller position is a hands-on role, responsible for managing the accounting function, including full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, revenue, COGS, inventory, audit and tax compliance.
The Controller will be responsible for managing the general accounting for the organization, assisting with the creation of financial statements and management reporting, managing the organization's cash, and assisting with the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts. Experience with developing and establishing policies and procedures within a high growth organization is highly preferred.
The position location is ideally located in the San Francisco Bay Area with preference given to candidates close to San Mateo/Peninsula. Candidates in other locations are welcome to apply.
