We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join the Home Office Coverage team, covering our Enterprise clients including Independent Broker Dealer and Bank & Trusts. Qualified applicants will have experience in the financial services industry and capacity to understand a diverse range of technical alternative investment products and platform technology. Working alongside their designated team, this person will be responsible for deepening business with our existing Enterprise clients. Ideal candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to key clients, coordinating with CAIS's Enterprise-level relationship managers to ensure a seamless client and advisor experience
• Drive sales and asset retention through direct selling and strategic client relationship management
• Manage product and platform launches, collaborating with internal teams, General Partners, key clients, and CAIS regional sales to maximize sales opportunities
• Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with Research teams at all levels and with advisors
• Collaborate with CAIS research teams and GPs to align on industry trends, strategy, and pipeline
• Enhance client and advisor engagement by working with the Marketing team to create targeted campaigns and by developing client-focused collateral to support field-based sales
• Facilitate onboarding with introductory calls, platform demonstrations, and support, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to maintain CAIS’s competitive position
• Demonstrate the features and benefits of the CAIS platform to advisors, emphasizing new tools and functionalities
• Record all client activities in Salesforce

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relationship management, investor relations, business development or external sales experience covering national accounts in the alternatives space
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline required
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the team
• Excellent client service aptitude and attitude
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

We are seeking an experienced internal sales professional to join the Alternative Investments Product Specialist team. Qualified applicants will have at least two years of experience in financial services and the capacity to understand a diverse range of technical investment products. Working alongside the Business Development team, this person will help support senior members of the sales team by serving as a point of contact for existing investors and helping drive new business by aiding the sales process. Qualified candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior members of the Business Development team whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with CAIS clients and prospects
• Develop exceptional CAIS product knowledge, alternative asset class knowledge, and industry knowledge
• Act as a point of contact for existing investors and be responsible for leveraging the full resources of the firm to coordinate responses to all investor inquiries
• Coordinate client meetings and conference calls with CAIS clients and Asset Managers on the platform

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of applicable experience, alternative asset management or private wealth management industry preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree; concentrations in Economics, Finance or Business
• Series 7 & 63 licenses required
• High degree of intellectual curiosity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Salesforce experience a plus
• Hard working and eager to learn in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Enthusiastic about developing and implementing ideas
• Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of finance, investment management industry, and Alternatives is highly desirable
