The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Leader will support and help drive food safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally with our sales teams and account managers to support client driven initiatives.  This role will also work with internal teams and suppliers to support food safety programs, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence initiatives.

The position will help ensure alignment with company and customer expectations related to food safety and quality while supporting ongoing process improvements, issue resolution, and program development. This individual will serve as a key resource for food safety and quality-related initiatives and help support strategic priorities across the business.

This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, supply chain, sales, operations, and compliance to support company initiatives and maintain strong food safety and quality practices throughout the supply chain.

• Increase visibility across integration work
  • Track deadlines tied to onboarding and integration requests
  • Ensure milestone tracking and ownership are clearly defined in Jira 
  • Provide structured reporting on workflow status and integration risk
• Design AI-enabled operational improvements 
  • Design and implement AI-assisted triage and workflow automations within Jira to classify tickets, extract structured information, and recommend routing
  • Develop automation rules and AI workflows to reduce manual ticket management

• Strong proficiency with Jira, including managing complex ticket workflows, cross‑instance coordination, and maintaining structured operational queues.
• Working knowledge of EDI document types and their common integration challenges.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (xlookups, etc) 
• Proven ability to enforce process and workflow discipline across technical teams, even without direct managerial authority.
