JOB FUNCTION:

The Shipping & Assembly Associate is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by accurately assembling products and preparing orders for shipment. This role ensures finished goods are assembled to specification, packaged correctly, and shipped on time while maintaining Brennan Industries’ standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble components and finished products according to work instructions, bills of material, and assembly specifications
• Perform visual checks to ensure assembled products meet quality standards prior to shipment
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and packaging requirements against shipping documents
• Label, package, and stage products for shipment using appropriate materials and methods
• Operate basic warehouse and shipping equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, scales, and packaging equipment
• Complete required shipping and assembly documentation accurately and timely
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies
• Follow all quality, safety, and operational procedures
• Communicate issues related to shortages, damages, or assembly concerns to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma 
• Prior experience in shipping, assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing environments 

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7AM- 3:30PM or Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM 

JOB FUNCTION: The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, and housekeeping tasks. This role also requires basic computer proficiency and experience using tablets on the warehouse floor for inventory management, order processing, and related tasks.

JOB DUTIES

• Shipping
  • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pull ticket and customer requirements.
  • Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock.
  • Notify Supervisor of shortages.
  • Package and ship product in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted method/practices
  • Maintain product stock in work area
  • Stock shelves
  • Monitor packaging material supplies and notify supervisor when materials to the restocking point.
  • Use tablets for order processing, inventory checks, and recording shipping activities.
• Receiving
  • Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
  • Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received.
  • Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items.
  • Stocking warehouse shelves.
  • May be required to operate tow motor.
  • Use tablets to log incoming shipments in the ERP system.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Effective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written
• Math Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with tablets and warehouse management software
• Physical requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 50lbs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Highschool diploma
• Experience using tablets or mobile devices in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Prior experience with basic computer systems, such as inventory tracking or order processing software

Position Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory to ensure the efficient and accurate tracking of all inventory-related activities. This role includes monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing procedures to optimize inventory control. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the balance between stock availability and minimizing excess inventory, contributing to the overall efficiency and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise inventory records and update data as needed.
• Utilize computer systems and digital tools effectively.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks and audits.
• Perform cycle counting to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying and addressing underlying issues.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Manage the receipt of materials and oversee quality checks.
• Address defective goods by coordinating returns and processing supplier credits.
• Assist with shipping products to customers and support other inventory-related tasks as needed.
• Previous experience with an ERP software

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
