Breeze Airways is a Seriously Nice™ airline merging technology with kindness.  Airport Agents work as part of a team of highly motivated self-starters who support Guests through all the phases of their journey. At the airport, they help Guests with check-in, boarding, baggage, etc. Work days can be quite routine, or they can be demanding. A high-demand day may consist of working with multiple Guests at the same time during an operational disruption or helping a hurried Guest who may take out their frustration on the Team Member. Remaining calm under pressure, focusing on solutions, communicating clearly verbally, and maintaining a positive attitude are essential skills for this job. Team Members must be willing and able to contribute to the development of a growing team environment.

Hourly Pay: $16.50 per hour

Here’s what you’ll do 

• Provide Breeze Guests at the airport with a Seriously Nice experiencing during check-in and boarding
• Engage with Guests through digital channels to provide solutions and information
• Provide detailed feedback on opportunities to improve the overall Guest Experience
• Empower Guests by offering solutions and answering questions

• Greet and assist Guests with a friendly welcome through arrival and check-in process, including support for Guests with special needs such as unaccompanied minors, VIP Guests and Guests needing wheelchair assistance
• Handle all aspects of ticketing and check-in by operating a computerized system. System usage includes boarding, baggage service, reservations and resolving related complaints and problems.
• Direct Guests through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine.
• Assist ramp agents to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags are made available for loading upon departure and delivery to Guests upon arrival.
• Push wheelchairs with Guests through all areas of the airport including terminal and gate areas.

Here’s what you need to be successful 

Minimum Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Two (2) years of customer service experience
• Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills with an emphasis on grammar & spelling
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Proficient and quality written communication typing at 45 WPM
• Be willing to work with a station trainer to learn how to operate a jetway up to and away from parked aircraft.
• Reside within 25 miles of Fort Myers International Airport and able to work from or travel to Breeze location(s) for meetings and trainings as needed
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success
• Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including Breeze’s confidential reporting systems: Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)
• Potential need to be available to respond on short notice as occasional mandatory overtime may be required to support irregular operations
• Ability to showcase exceptional customer service abilities to all clientele.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Must be able to communicate by radio and other devices.
• Must be able to observe, judge distances, identify surroundings, hazards, aircrafts and equipment.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
• Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Flexible schedule allowing work during nights, weekends, and holidays. Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge in accordance with TSA requirements
• Possess at least two of the below required documentation to acquire Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge at the Orlando International Airport.

The Area Manager oversees all Guest Services ground activities and day-to-day operations in their assigned locations while providing leadership and motivation to all team members including business partner teams. They are also responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of safety, security, and Guest Service in accordance with Breeze policies and procedures.

Here's what you'll do

• Responsible for safety programs to ensure a safe workplace for Team Members, Guests, Business Partners, aircraft, ground service equipment, and facilities at their assigned station.
• Hold ground service providers accountable to DOT, FAA, and Breeze guidelines.
• Manage and plan station costs in operating plan and administer and maintain the station operations budget for their assigned stations.
• Accountable for all internal and external regulatory matters
• Conduct station audits and reviews.
• Develops and manages talent in the area, including hiring, coaching and workforce planning.
• Take action, as deemed necessary, to resolve any problems or situations that may compromise safety compliance
• Resolves issues for guests regarding service failures or other complaints.

• Order all product inventory for Norfolk base.
• Ensure all Norfolk base aircraft are catered to pack out specifications and outfitted with the proper tools for an exceptional Inflight guest experience.
• Ensure all Norfolk base aircraft are catered in a timely fashion including IROP situations.
• Provide training to Breeze Team Members on how to best represent our Breeze brand and successfully cater an aircraft.

The Airport Supervisor on Duty plays a critical role in our Control Center, supporting operational excellence in Airports throughout our network and collaborates with support Teams in the OCC including Dispatch and Guest Operations.  This position is the central point of contact for all Airports, will be a subject matter expert in policies, procedures and resources that our Airports Team use.  This role also is responsible for proactive planning, building and updating Airports resources and supports real-time resolution during irregular operations, including being a key decision-maker to minimize impact on Guest Experience at our Airports.  The Airport Supervisor on Duty exemplifies Breeze values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence while driving performance, accountability, and operational success.

Here's what you'll do

• Serve as a resource for real-time Airport support during irregular operations, answering questions, problem solving, guidance through irregular operations and liaison to Dispatch and Guest Operations.
• Execute decision-making for recovery solutions including meal vouchers, rebooking options, adjustments to compensation, minimizing Guest Experience impact.
• Investigate delays related to Airports, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow up.
• Collaborate with all the Airport Standards and Learning Team, create, monitor and update resources available in the Breeze Information System.
• Act as a Complaint-Resolutions-Official and support for fellow Ground Security Coordinators, as needed
• Deliver daily operational recaps to leadership regarding Staffing, Ground Equipment, delays.
• Partner with other operational departments on investigations.
• Track and analyze Airport performance to our operational KPIs, reporting to Airport Operations and Airport Standards Leadership
• Liaison to Airport Operations Leadership Team for daily operational reports, concerns, and status reports.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices to implement that will enhance efficiency and guest experience.
• Maintain deep knowledge of airport policies, procedures, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements across all airport operations.
