Role Title: Middle Office Trade Support - Junior Analyst

The Junior Analyst role will be in the Middle Office Trade Support Group which sits within the wider Business Management team.
The Trade Support Group currently has teams in London, New York and Singapore directly supporting the Execution desk & Portfolio Managers (PM). The group supports all aspects of trade capture, trade flow across macro products and works closely with various internal groups (Operations, Risk, PC, Technology) to identify & resolve issues, enhance & integrate new processes and technology as well as help to establish & police best practices.
Role overview:
Sitting with the Execution desk and the London Middle office colleague, the candidate will be covering the EMEA Rates desk across London, Geneva, Dubai & Jersey offices with main responsibilities including:
Note: The team in London start at 8:00am working 4 days in office. The WFH day has to be coordinated with the team to ensure coverage. This role will not involve any execution or trading activity.

Overview of the Team/Department
Emerging Markets team consists of over 30 Portfolio Managers with offices in NY, London, Geneva and Singapore. The team trades a variety of instruments, mostly Rates, FX, Credit and other derivatives, across Asia, Ceemea and Latam, to profit from market themes and opportunities as they arise. The Singapore office consists of more than 10 experienced Portfolio Managers with a strong track record in Emerging Markets Asia macro trading.

Role Title: Operations and Product Control Manager

Overview of the team/department:
The Operations department is responsible for maintaining the day‑to‑day integrity of the firm’s financial records, ensuring trading activity is accurately recorded, reconciled, and settled in a timely manner.
As elements of the operating model transition, the team’s responsibilities are expanding towards oversight and control, with increased involvement in query management, front‑office engagement, and monitoring trade and event flows to identify and resolve exceptions efficiently.
The Product Control department is responsible for the production, analysis, publication and control of official daily P&L for all BlueCrest funds at a Portfolio Manager, Desk and Fund level, as well as oversight of monthly NAV production and approval of distribution of statements to investors.
Both departments work across three offices (London, New York and Singapore) covering all major asset classes, with the overarching objective of developing innovative approaches to achieve best-in-class control of the business.

Job Title : Quant Researcher
Division: Front Office Technology

Department Overview:
The Quant Research team is a centralised function responsible for maintaining and enhancing core systems in BlueCrest. We support curve build across rates/fx/inflation/bond/commodity, rates vol calibration frameworks as well as maintaining and enhancing existing quant analytics libraries and timeseries data.
The QR team sits within the Front office technology group and liaises heavily with the desk and other support functions including RAD, Risk Dev and market risk managers
Role Overview:
The primary focus of this role is to work with the trading desks and risk management to meet any of their pricing, risk and market analysis needs.
The role will require strong mathematical and programming skills with the core analytics libraries being written C# and C++. The successful candidate will be able to implement clean robust solutions in these core libraries and work collaboratively as part of a larger group wide development and desk facing team. A pragmatic approach has to be taken at all times. Key factors are; time to market, fit for purpose, and code reusability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery focused individual with solid quant research background and strong development skills to work directly with the trading desk without any bureaucracy or politics.
The business trades all asset classes but is primarily rates focused. Linear rates pricing experience is a minimum requirement for this role, but it also offers a unique opportunity to expand exposure to all asset classes and learn from some of the best traders in the world.
You must be comfortable driving requirements from inception to delivery and managing the relationship with the user throughout the full development life cycle.

Job Title: C# / Angular Developer

Role Description:
This developer role is within a small, dynamic team that develops applications for a number of different business areas including Treasury, Centralised Execution & Equities.
The systems and components cover a broad range of technologies, including Python, Node.js, C# REST services. The front-end is delivered using Angular (modern) SPAs.
The Team also looks after Data Warehousing systems and are expecting to migrate some legacy warehousing technology to Snowflake next year.
The candidate should have some knowledge of financial instruments.
The team is looking to bring onboard a strong C# developer with Angular experience, but this is by no means the limit of the role’s responsibilities.

Job Title: RAD Developer

The front office RAD technology team are responsible maintaining and building trading desk tools, both bespoke to pods and general to a desk. The team sits within the Front office technology group which also contains Quant Research and the Risk and Data Technology teams.
Role Overview:
The primary focus of this role is to face off to the traders and to meet any of their RAD tool requirements. These requirements vary from the small e.g. risk reports using data outputted from core systems, to the large e.g. trading workflow and risk systems, scenario tools etc. Any technology can be used to fulfil these requirements and a pragmatic approach has to be taken at all times, key factors are; time to market, is it fit for purpose, code reusability. The traders prefer Excel front ends, hence there is a lean to this technology, but these excel front ends are generally underpinned by C# library functions, Mongo and SQL Server databases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with front office experience to further grow their exposure to cross-asset products and to deliver a solution whose benefits are highly visible and desired by the business sponsors

In this role you must be self-motivated and able to face off to senior business users on the trading desks and the risk desk. You must be able to gather requirements, design elegant but pragmatic solutions and implement them through to release. This is a highly technical role, requiring the ability to understand oo and how to build re-usable library functions within the code quant library framework. This implies that the candidate should be very comfortable with the full software development lifecycle and should be able to demonstrate adherence to best practices in all areas of their work. Delivery is key in this role as is the ability to balance rapid BAU change whilst progressing with longer term strategic development.
