THE OPPORTUNITY

Working on venture capital transactions and deal flow: You will proactively work in the deal team to analyze opportunities by thoroughly assessing founder teams, strategic fit with BITKRAFT, market potential, competitive dynamics, product KPIs, and customer metrics or user reviews. As part of your diligence, you will also make use of your own network of industry contacts, experts, and venture investors. You are able to build your own models and documentation to assist in your findings. You will liaise with the Partners at BITKRAFT to conclude investment decisions. 

Portfolio management: You will monitor and support BITKRAFT’s portfolio management initiatives (e.g., KPI and business plan tracking, monitoring of fundraising plans, evaluating monthly financial reportings, reviewing strategy, and roadmap) to identify key areas where BITKRAFT can support.

Origination of new deals: You will build strong relationships for BITKRAFT in the startup and venture capital community and be an ambassador for our firm, e.g., by identifying new investment opportunities as part of our incoming deal flow and by leveraging your network to identify exciting founding teams for BITKRAFT.

Market trends and research: You will independently build expertise around exciting sectors to uncover promising business models and bring forward your own investment theses.

YOU

• Strong ambition and a growth mindset
• Passion for and a solid understanding of startups and venture capital—a foundation in startups is helpful to build credibility in working with founders
• Knowledge of and passion for the games and interactive entertainment sectors (including working experience in the industry)
• Candid and clear communication, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Strategic mindset with sharp quantitative and analytical thinking as well as great attention to detail: analytical, fact-driven yet pragmatic working style
• Autonomous working style, as well as  the ability to synthesize and present complex data, while getting operational and working “hands-on”

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Principal to join our Equity investment team. In this role, you’ll drive deal origination, manage and execute venture capital transactions, and provide strategic support to our portfolio. This is a pivotal role, ideal for a candidate who excels in managing process and workflow, establishing best practices in analytical and investment frameworks, shaping strategy, serving as main point of contact for portfolio company founders and mentoring junior team members. We seek someone with a genuine passion for startups, venture capital, the gaming industry and driving team performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transaction Management: Lead all investment stages—from origination and evaluation through to execution. You’ll assess potential deals, create financial models, and collaborate with BITKRAFT partners on final decisions.
• Portfolio Oversight: Manage portfolio companies, including KPI tracking, financial reporting, strategy review, and identifying key support areas. You’ll also represent BITKRAFT on board roles as needed.
• Deal Origination & Networking: Cultivate relationships within the startup and venture capital community to identify new investment opportunities, partnerships for portfolio companies and represent BITKRAFT as a prominent industry ambassador.
• Market Insights & Research: Help set research, thesis and content development agenda. Develop expertise in key sectors, formulating data-driven investment theses to identify emerging opportunities.
• Equity Team Operations: Collaborate with senior leadership to mentor the investment team, delegate work effectively, and foster sound investment practices among junior associates, analysts, and interns. Work with senior leadership to set fund strategy, analytical frameworks and investment processes.
• Fundraising Support: Assist with BITKRAFT’s fundraising efforts for future funds.

YOU

• Experience & Education: Background in investing, finance, business, or related fields, with significant expertise in gaming and interactive entertainment sectors.
• Management Skills: Experienced in people management, setting and delegating tasks, as well as fostering professional team growth.
• Investment Savvy: Extensive experience in venture capital or startups, with strong financial modeling and research capabilities.
• Networked: Established relationships with founders, investors, and industry stakeholders.
• Analytical & Process-Oriented Mindset: Excellent quantitative, strategic, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Structured thinking and execution-oriented approach to work.
• Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal, persuasion and relationship-building abilities with clear and candid communication style.
• Professionalism, Stature & Reliability: Lead by example with excellence and reliability in delivery.
