Requirements:
For internships:
Must be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
For New Graduate (entry-level) positions:
Before starting employment, must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
For Engineering disciplines, must have passed or be eligible to sit for the FE exam by the time of graduation.
Additional Requirements:
Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Will be conducting environmental studies and investigations, e.g. environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and surveys.
Assist multiple project tasks or projects across simultaneous assignments for both private and public clients across multiple sectors.
Review environmental data, reports, permits, and related materials for compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients accordingly.
Assist clients with permit coordination, acquisition, compliance, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
A balanced mix of field and office work.
Communicate scientific, technical, and regulatory information and guidance to the project team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, biology, ecology, rangeland science, wildlife management, or related field.
0-3 years field experience.
Organizational and business-technical writing skills.
Effective time-management, written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Professional attitude and good decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams, both internal and external.
Proficient with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel), Adobe.
Ability and willingness to conduct fieldwork as needed.
