CLTC builds on a curriculum based on teens focusing on leadership development, program planning, and hands-on experience. CLTC is expected to reach 500 teens across 4 sessions throughout the summer.
International Leadership Training Conference (ILTC) is a 19-day program designed to hone leadership skills for teens serving (or aspiring to serve) as regional BBYO position-holders in their home communities. ILTC participants often become the top leaders of the BBYO teen movement, gaining skills in recruitment, program planning and civic engagement. ILTC is expected to reach 200 teens.
Kallah is a 3-week Jewish learning and spirituality institute that inspires teens to explore their Jewish identities and interests in a diverse, pluralistic setting encouraging questioning and experimentation. Kallah participants gain important Judaic skills and come away feeling a deeper connection to Jewish study, Israel, and community. Kallah is expected to reach 200 teens.

CLTC Lead Jewish Educator is responsible for facilitating core Jewish Enrichment sessions (curriculum is provided), Israel education programming, and T’filah and Jewish Ritual programming. In addition the educator will be responsible for creating and facilitating Jewish Enrichment elective style learning. They will support teens in collaboration with leadership staff on T’filah planning and Shabbat planning, providing insight and content for evening and special programs, and help to create a pluralistic learning culture at camp. The Jewish Educator will partner with song leader, Jewish Enrichment madrich/madricha, and/or teens in leading and supporting community daily prayer moments and facilitating Bnei Mitzvah experiences. This role requires an experiential educator who has strong Judaic knowledge, ritual and prayer knowledge, as well as experience leading a team.
CLTC Dates
CLTC 2-3 | June 19–July 27, 2026
Option to add on CLTC 4 July 29 – August 10
Compensation $8,000 + $250 for Spring in-person training

Compensation
Compensation is on a scale and is based on previous experience and educational background: $6200-$7000
A Jewish Educator is responsible for teaching daily sessions/classes. Each educator will be responsible for preparing material on a topic area, with support of other staff. They will support teens on Shabbat planning, providing insight and content for evening and special programs, and help to create a pluralistic learning culture at camp. This role requires an individual who has strong Judaic knowledge and background, as well as some experience teaching Jewish content. Candidates will be proficient in Jewish prayer, values, holidays, and rituals. They will be capable teachers and motivators; experienced in working with teens; and are positive Jewish role models.

International Kallah is a 3-week Jewish learning and spirituality institute that inspires teens to explore their Jewish identities and interests in a diverse, pluralistic setting encouraging questioning and experimentation. Kallah participants gain important Judaic skills and come away feeling a deeper connection to Jewish study, Israel, and community. Kallah is expected to reach approximately 200 teens.

A Jewish Educator is responsible for teaching daily sessions/classes. Each educator will be responsible for preparing material on a topic area, with the support of other staff. They will support teens on Shabbat planning, providing insight and content for evening and special programs, and help to create a pluralistic learning culture at camp. This role requires an individual who has strong Judaic knowledge and background, as well as some experience teaching Jewish content. Candidates will be proficient in Jewish prayer, values, holidays, and rituals. They will be capable teachers and motivators; experienced in working with teens; and are positive Jewish role models that are inspired by building and being a part of powerful pluralistic communities.

Chapter Leadership Training Conference (CLTC) is a 13-day program designed to develop and strengthen the leadership skills of BBYO chapter leaders. At CLTC, teens from across North America will form mock chapters and learn specific skills that help them lead their chapter at home. CLTC builds on a curriculum based on teens focusing on leadership development, program planning, and hands-on experience. CLTC is expected to reach 500 teens across 4 sessions throughout the summer.

BBYO Regional Conventions bring together the best of the AZA and BBG chapter experience— lessons in leadership, community service, global connections, exploration and understanding of Jewish heritage and tradition. For decades, BBYO programs have served as second homes for teens. During hundreds of weekend conventions a year, BBYO is building communities of teens from across North America and ensuring that teens have meaningful experiences and build a diverse network of lifelong friends.
BBYO is currently looking for Jewish educators to consult and engage with eager teens across North America. The preferred consultant is dynamic and teen-oriented, thrives in pluralistic communities, and represents their own authentic relationship to Jewish learning, practice, and identity. BBYO is seeking educators that are happiest when not in the front of the room and are instead watching a teen that they’ve taught facilitate an experience.

Key Educator Responsibilities: Yearlong consultant to provide mentorship and coaching to chapter leadership in order to elevate Jewish moments on the chapter level.
