About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us push the boundaries of what real-time web interfaces can do. You’ll be responsible for developing the operator-facing frontend of our Remote Control stack - the live command center that humans use to assist cars and robots in the wild.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly shapes how autonomy operates at scale.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain low-latency, real-time interfaces for controlling autonomous cars and robots
• Architect robust React applications that integrate live video feeds, real-time maps, and interactive controls for navigation and remote assistance
• Optimize for operator efficiency: keyboard workflows, high-res layouts, fast feedback loops
• Collaborate with backend, robotics, and UX teams to shape APIs and flows for reliability under edge conditions
• Ship fast, iterate often, and deliver responsive, intuitive tools that support autonomous vehicle operations

• Strong React and TypeScript skills — proven track record building fast, maintainable apps
• Real-time mindset — experience working with websockets, live data, or streaming video is a plus
• UI intuition — you care about interface design and performance, and you know how to debug slow or janky UIs

• Experience with WebRTC, low-latency video, or socket-based architectures

We are a fast-moving team of infrastructure and platform engineers building Fleet Orchestrator, which manages our entire fleet state, including software versions and configuration. Our system ensures that every vehicle in the field is running the correct, validated software stack — from the core autopilot bundles to low-level sensor firmware.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a key role in designing and evolving our Fleet Orchestrator. You’ll be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and reliability of the system that deploys software to thousands of autonomous vehicles operating in complex urban environments.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly ensures the stability, consistency, and safety of our fleet at scale. You'll be solving complex systems problems that are critical to our mission.

What You'll Do

• Design and build a cloud-based service that dynamically computes and serves vehicle software specifications based on fleet requirements, operational state, and hardware profiles.
• Architect and develop the agent that runs on every vehicle, managing its state and software lifecycle.
• Deepen our integration of the agent with the underlying OS to ensure robust and isolated application environments on the vehicles.
• Collaborate with other involved teams to define and implement deployment strategies that improve reliability, enhance the developer-to-vehicle workflow, and ensure reproducible deploys.
• Debug and resolve complex, system-level issues across the fleet, ensuring high reliability and uptime for our autonomous systems.

What You'll Need

• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience building robust, testable, and maintainable applications.
• Solid experience with Linux systems programming and administration, particularly with systemd.
• Experience building and running systems in production. Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is highly valued
• A systems-thinking mindset—you can reason about complex distributed systems and their failure modes.

Nice to Have

• Deep understanding of software deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Proficiency in Go, particularly for building scalable backend services.
• Experience with Nix or NixOS
• Familiarity with gRPC for building inter-service communication.
• Background in robotics, IoT, or managing software for embedded or remote hardware.

We are a team of backend and platform engineers responsible for the core systems that drive our fleet’s operational efficiency. Our mission is to build the "brain" behind fleet management —systems that track the physical state of every vehicle, manage complex hardware configurations, and manage vehicle availability, scheduling, and operational workflows. We act as the source of truth for the physical state and readiness of our fleet.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale the backend services that power our Asset Management and Fleet Management platforms. In this role, you will architect systems that handle complex resource allocation, lifecycle tracking, and workflow automation.

You will work on high-availability services where reliability is paramount. Your work will directly impact how our entire organization interacts with our cars and robots, from assembly and maintenance to production dispatching.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop scalable backend services that manage the complex lifecycle and state of our autonomous assets.
• Design sophisticated resource orchestration logic to handle mission scheduling, shift management, and automated conflict resolution.
• Build and optimize high-performance APIs (REST and gRPC) used by both web clients and the vehicles themselves.
• Integrate with various internal and third-party tools to create seamless, automated workflows for our operations and engineering teams.
• Lead the technical design of new features, ensuring they are robust, maintainable, and built for future scale.
