About the Role
Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI & LLMs
At Avathon, we are building cutting-edge AI solutions that transform operations across asset-intensive industries such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Energy, Mining, Aerospace, and Industrial Manufacturing. As an AI Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI systems with a strong focus on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and production-grade machine learning applications.

You Will
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems with strong emphasis on Generative AI and LLM-powered applications
- Develop and optimize end-to-end LLM pipelines including RAG architectures, fine-tuning, prompt orchestration, evaluation, and observability

You'll Have

About the Role
As a Senior AI Engineer at Avathon, you will play a key role in designing and delivering advanced AI solutions with a strong emphasis on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). About the Role
As a Senior AI Scientist – Planning, you will design and develop the AI and optimization models that power Avathon's planning intelligence - demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP decision support for customers across energy, mining, manufacturing, and logistics.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, ML and operations research. You will build models that work with complex supply chain data - demand history, ERP/MRP transactions, and commercial forecasts across multi-echelon networks with long lead times and constrained capacity. The work is equal parts applied research and production delivery. You will develop novel approaches where standard methods fall short and ship them into a platform used by enterprise customers. You will report into the Data Science org and work closely with product and engineering.
You Will
- Build demand forecasting models across industrial verticals, applying probabilistic, hierarchical, and intermittent demand methods where history is short or volatile
- Design supply planning and inventory optimization models across multi-echelon networks with capacity constraints and variable lead times
- Formulate and solve optimization problems (MIP, LP, constraint programming) for production scheduling, allocation, and resource planning
- Build simulation and scenario analysis frameworks to support S&OP and integrated business planning workflows
- Define evaluation metrics, build backtesting pipelines, and run controlled experiments to measure and improve model performance
- Integrate cross-domain signals from Avathon's Computational Knowledge Graph -- asset health, logistics, procurement - into planning models
- Own the path from research to production in collaboration with ML Engineering, delivering scalable and monitored services

You'll Have

What you will do: Responsibilities
This role operates with the intensity and ownership of a founder in the field:
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-stakes deployments in operational environments
- Design and implement Avathon’s Computational Knowledge Graph (CKG) that unify data, constraints, and decisioning, performing continuous computation across physical networks
- Replace static planning workflows with real-time, autonomous execution applications
- Work side-by-side with operators, planners, and key stakeholders to define problems and deliver solutions
- Push systems into production that directly control and influence real-world operations
- Drive product evolution by feeding field learnings into Avathon’s core platform

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead our integrated demand planning module and the downstream planning workflows it feeds -- demand-supply matching, inventory positioning, and asset rebalancing. You will own the product from consensus demand through executable supply decisions, partnering with engineering, data science, and customers to define and deliver the planning experience.
You Will
- Own the demand planning module -- statistical forecasting, ML-based demand sensing, and collaborative demand review workflows
- Define requirements for demand segmentation, forecast value-add (FVA) tracking, and bias/accuracy analytics
- Drive integration between demand signals (customer contracts, project forecasts, production schedules, commodity indices, macro-economic indicators) and the planning engine
- Own demand-supply matching -- how the consensus demand plan flows into supply allocation, inventory positioning, and asset rebalancing decisions
- Define product requirements for inventory repositioning workflows -- where to hold stock, when to rebalance across locations, and how to surface trade-offs to planners
- Design the collaborative planning experience -- structured workflows for demand analysts, supply planners, sales teams, and S&OP leaders to review, override, and approve plans with auditability
- Shape the vision for agentic planning -- we are building AI agents (like our manufacturing planner agent) that autonomously generate forecasts, flag exceptions, and recommend supply actions; you will define how planners interact with, supervise, and override these agents
- Partner with data science to translate ML model outputs into planning recommendations that are understandable and actionable in the product
- Gather feedback from planners and S&OP leaders, validate hypotheses, and iterate based on real planning cycles
You'll Have
- 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful exposure to supply chain planning software (demand planning, S&OP, inventory, or supply planning)
- Depth in demand planning -- you understand how statistical and ML-based forecasting methods work, what forecast accuracy metrics mean, and how demand plans flow into supply decisions
- Breadth across supply chain planning -- you've worked across enough of the plan-to-fulfill chain (demand-supply matching, inventory optimization, S&OP) to connect the pieces
- Experience with at least one planning platform (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to write clear product requirements for data-heavy features -- pipelines, model integration, analytics
- Strong communication skills; comfortable translating between data science teams and business planners
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field; MBA is a plus

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CKG Lead Engineer to help design, develop, and scale our Neon platform. In this role, you will work on the full-stack development of our knowledge graph platform, from ontology design and schema modeling to query optimization and Python integration. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team as we develop cutting-edge AI-based Logistics Planning and Transportation Management software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product development process for our Logistics and Transportation product suite. About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team operating in an agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in DevOps across building software pipelines, creating repeatable deployments, and experience with various infrastructure components in the cloud.
