We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to help us enhance the consumer experience for millions of visitors to the UK's leading automotive marketplace. This role combines both manual and automation testing, playing a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Our Test Engineers work in cross-functional workstreams with developers, product leads, and designers, so you will be collaborating in a team with diverse skill sets and personalities. These include UI, integration, contract and smoke tests in Typescript or Java. We’re looking for a Benefits Manager to join our People & Culture team on a FTC until 31st December 2026.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of our employee benefits offering by designing, delivering, and evolving programmes that are inclusive, competitive, and aligned with our values and the needs of our people.
As the benefits subject matter expert, you’ll lead the day-to-day management and strategic development of core benefits, including private medical insurance, group risk, pensions, flexible benefits, wellness initiatives and leave policies. Our Partnerships community is looking for a Partnerships Manager to join the team, covering the South of England, including Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, among others, as part of your patch.
In this role, you’ll be a trusted business partner and the face of Autotrader across the region, supporting our independent customers and identifying new business opportunities.
You'll take accountability for understanding your customers' objectives and advising on how to achieve them in both the short and long term, working closely with stakeholders across your customers' business and Autotrader.
You'll take a consultative approach, using Autotrader data and insights to influence decision-making, drive digital performance, and deliver meaningful commercial outcomes. You'll educate customers on the right digital products to support growth and efficiency, using strong presentation skills and storytelling with data to simplify complex insight and guide clear recommendations.
This will involve collaborating face-to-face with different stakeholders within your customers’ businesses. Your focus will be on customer engagement through regular site visits. You’ll build and maintain strong customer relationships through this consistent engagement.

We’re looking for a Graduate Experience Designer to join our Product & Technology community in Manchester.
As part of the Design team, you’ll help improve our end-to-end experiences by working closely with other designers, product managers, engineers and researchers. You’ll support work from early ideas and discovery through to design, testing, and iteration of solutions, considering the needs of customers, consumers and colleagues throughout.

About the role
We're looking for Principal Software Engineers to help us build a technology platform for more than just the needs of Autotrader.co.uk.
Utilising our public-facing web services and additional external data sources means that we'll be able to power businesses across the automotive industry.
Spring Boot, Apache Solr, Cloud SQL and Apache Kafka power our platform and process millions of events per day. As a team, our software developers are responsible for ensuring service availability and responsiveness continue to improve. They work on systems that handle thousands of requests per second, with sub-100 millisecond response times, servicing requests from over 50 client applications.

Our Procurement team within our Leasing community are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the business. This role plays a vital part in shaping and delivering a strategic approach to sourcing cars, vans, and pickups, while supporting sales targets, commercial performance, and day-to-day operational efficiency.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Procurement Director and another Procurement Manager, along with wider internal teams, to keep procurement activity moving at pace, with clear communication and strong commercial focus.
You'll lead sourcing, contracting, and transactional purchasing activity, manage relationships with dealers, manufacturers, and suppliers, and negotiate favourable terms that support value, margin improvement, and risk management. You'll also help ensure that procurement activities align with business objectives, contractual requirements, and operational needs.
You'll support the development and execution of procurement strategies, lead conversations with manufacturers and dealers to identify new opportunities and use market insight to inform sourcing decisions. Working with funders and internal stakeholders, you'll help secure the right stock mix to support sales objectives, oversee contract and purchase order activity, and collaborate with pricing and fulfilment teams to maximise deal opportunities. Ensuring procurement processes remain accurate, compliant, and efficient will also be a key part of your role.
You'll have the opportunity to attend manufacturer launches, industry events, and fleet exhibitions to elevate Autotrader’s profile and stay ahead of market developments. We’re offering a salary of £45,000–£55,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
You'll have 28 days' holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half-day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve.

We’re looking for Sales Executives to join our Leasing team based in our Hemel Hempstead office. At Autotrader, we pride ourselves on offering a diverse array of options to our consumers, spanning from pre-owned to brand-new vehicles. Continuously innovating to enhance our online marketplace experience and choice, we've now expanded to include a comprehensive selection of car and van leasing deals, which is precisely where this role comes into play.
Working within our Leasing community, you'll engage with customers to understand their leasing requirements. While some customers will arrive with a clear idea of their next vehicle, others may need guidance. Notably, 50% of our customers are new to leasing, which is why you'll play a pivotal role in qualifying and assessing their needs effectively.
Every customer is different, so a collaborative and customer-first approach is vital for this role. This approach, combined with great questioning and active listening skills, will help you establish rapport, address challenges, and provide tailored guidance throughout the customer's leasing journey.
This is very much a business-to-consumer (B2C) role. Balancing your customer service skills, you’ll also be expected to demonstrate your sales acumen with tenacity, working towards KPIs and objectives. Rest assured, we'll handle lead generation, allowing you to focus your efforts on engaging customers with enthusiasm and delivering exceptional customer service.
