POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for various functions within the Private Debt Operations Team. This team member will work closely with the deal and Finance teams in coordinating and executing all aspects of the trade closing process through review of allocations, legal documents, and the flow of funds while executing wire transfers. The role entails working alongside and guiding relationships with Trustees, tracking cash and purchasing power, using a variety of systems to accurately reflect the business’s holdings, and working on daily leverage facility needs while promoting an environment of compliance, efficiency, and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and detail-oriented team player with strong technical skills able to effectively and concisely complete tasks in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loan Servicing:

• Lead daily trade activity by contributing to the settlement of Primary and Secondary trades with counterparties utilizing WSO, ClearPar, and BlackMountain systems
• Interact daily with Portfolio Managers and PD Fund Management Team for allocations and coordination of trade settlements
• Work with senior members of the Operations Team on direct deal closings and transfer projects
• Coordinate with agent banks on a regular basis – resolution of trade discrepancies, timing of trade closing, and KYC
• Work closely with Trustee/Custodians on trade fundings and record keeping while assisting with daily inquiries across holdings
• Record and verify Paydowns/Drawdowns, Interest rate resets, PIK interest calculations, and Delayed Comp accruals/calculations
• Work with the TresVista team in the reconciliation and trade closing processes along with executing upcoming Revolver and Delayed Draw fundings
• Contribute to BMS/WSO system accuracy and items for daily processing

General Operations:

• Assist with new fund onboarding and opening new bank accounts
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Treasury teams on set up, release, and documentation of wires
• Monitor, review, and seek resolution of compliance issues with deal team and compliance groups
• Prepare daily and monthly reports across a variety of Asset Backed Lending, CLO Lite, Line of Credit, and Warehouse facilities for cash borrowing needs, repayments, and reporting requirements
• Monitor cash flow analysis and assist deal team and Finance with capital calls, distributions, and equity contributions
• Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing operational controls, policies, and procedures
• Assist with the audit confirmation and AUP testing procedures

• At least 5-8 years of professional experience, primary focus on debt products a plus

As part of our continued growth, Audax Private Debt seeks an Analyst to join our Private Debt Portfolio Reporting Team.  The Team provides portfolio, operational, and financial reporting support to the Origination Debt investment, Investor Relations, and internal management teams.  The role will lead processes and manage systems that promote efficient and effective data capture and analysis, requiring coordination with the investment team, other members of Finance, and IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process development & implementation

• Identify operational improvements to maximize efficiency and build a scalable foundation for growth. Refine centralized databases and business intelligence processes to improve quality and control of data for reporting and analysis
• Work to evolve the team’s data strategy, including data governance and data lifecycle management
• Maintain and improve data integrity, run regular data screens, and educate team members across departments to ensure adherence to data entry best practices

• Gross and net portfolio return attribution and comparative benchmark analysis

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major; CPA or CFA a plus

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Credit Analyst will evaluate new private credit investments by performing thorough fundamental analysis to formulate a clear credit view and recommendation; manage and analyze the financial performance of the companies under management; present at regular portfolio review and watchlist meetings; periodically analyze incremental investment opportunities in both the primary and secondary markets; evaluate amendment requests; follow industry trends; maintain current view of credits under management, and become proficient with legal documentation over time.

The position is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for Audax Private Debt based in Boston. The Finance Manager is also a key contributor to the Private Debt valuation process and is responsible for the compliance and control processes related to several Private Debt Funds. POSITION SUMMARY:

Audax Group is seeking an Investor Operations Co-op Coordinator to contribute to a high-performing team.  The firm’s Investor Operations effort has a high degree of responsibility and corresponding visibility externally with limited partners and internally with senior management.  The Investor Operations Coordinator will handle outbound communications to investors as well as a variety of inbound inquiries specifically related to Audax Private Debt.  The role requires the ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment.  Successful candidates are creative problem-solvers and self-starters who have the proven ability to produce results.  Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability, and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain CRM data quality through routine review of investor data and assist with data backfills when needed.

Seeking a detail oriented Senior Compliance Analyst/Compliance Counsel for a newly created position supporting all aspects of Audax Private Equity’s compliance program.  Reporting directly to the CCO, the Senior Compliance Analyst will work closely with members of the Audax Private Equity investor relations, accounting, and investment teams.  The Senior Compliance Analyst will be an integral part of the Audax compliance team, based in Boston and New York.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Tax Manager will be a key member of the growing Tax Team. Experience in partnership tax is required, with particular knowledge of alternative investments. The Tax Manager must be able to coordinate and manage several projects at the same time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and sign-off of tax workpapers and tax returns for funds, GP and Co-Invest entities
• Review and sign-off of state risk analysis workpaper prepared by CPA firms
• Assist with review and sign-off of portfolio holding company partnership tax returns
• Review and sign-off of quarterly and annual tax estimate workpapers for funds, GP and Co-Invest entities
• Oversee and manage outsourced CPA team
• Support distributions to investors by identifying tax withholding requirements
• Help maintain partner information used for K1 reporting and withholding calculations
• Update and monitor various project trackers
• Collect and review documentation to support tax return filings and calculations
• Analyze legal documents such as operating agreements to determine tax implications of contributions, distributions, tax allocations, and other reporting items
• Respond to investor questions on tax reporting
• Ad hoc projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-8 years of partnership tax, with a blend of Big 4 and industry experience
• CPA required
• Knowledge of individual, corporate, foreign tax reporting, and/or state tax helpful
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, attention to detail, and proven ability to multi-task

For Massachusetts: The base salary range for this position is $112,500- $185,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Audax Senior Debt has invested over $30 billion across more than 850 established U.S. middle market companies in support of over 250 private equity sponsors. Our primary focus is to invest in first lien senior secured loans to support sponsor-led buyouts. The investment team maintains focus on a deep understanding of credit during both the underwriting and portfolio monitoring process.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This VP position will focus on underwriting and managing a portfolio of senior secured loans that will include first lien, unitranche, and in some cases junior debt facilities. The loans will include agency, co-lead, joint-lead and club member for private credit and broadly syndicated loans.

The Vice President will provide oversight and direction on new investment underwriting for junior team members, providing direction for key areas of focus with senior team and committee members, including , facilitate negotiations on grids, term sheet and broader credit documents, communicate periodic analysis on the financial performance of the companies under management, present at portfolio review investment committee and watchlist meetings, analyze incremental investment opportunities, evaluate amendment requests, follow industry trends, make follow-on primary and secondary market investment recommendations and aid in originators pitching new opportunities to sponsors. The candidate should have proficiency with credit documentation from grids, term sheets, credit agreements and related documents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct industry and business due diligence devising methods for gathering and assessing financial and market data through primary and secondary data sources  
• Drive due diligence process, new investment and portfolio monitoring workstreams  
• Perform financial and technical analyses, develop financial models based on company and industry data to determine appropriate structures, downside protection and potential performance 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years investment banking, direct lending, structured credit or similar experience with preference with experience in sponsor-backed direct lending
• Experience underwriting lead opportunities and managing a portfolio of senior debt investments.
• Ability to manage multiple processes for live transactions including refinancings, auctions, in various stages with close attention to detail and ability to generate detailed summaries and presentations to summarize diligence completed and update senior team members on activity of 20+ portfolio accounts
• Ability to structure and negotiate legal documentation including grids, commitment letters and broader credit documentation
• Ability to oversee and synthesize financial models, provide direction to junior team on diligence, accounting and financial concepts, data room summaries, and interface with sponsors
• Ability to assess the credit quality, structural soundness and legal risks of potential investments

For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $225,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting.
