Role Overview
The Controller position owns all accounting functions at our clients and will be responsible for issuing client financial statements, including thoughtful and value-added fluctuation analyses, developing financial models, and managing departmental budgets and forecasts. The Controller also manages Attivo staff to own full-cycle on-chain and off-chain month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. Experience with developing financial models from the ground up and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups and has a passion for helping companies scale and grow.
The position location is flexible/work from home, with preference given to candidates in the following cities where Attivo has an employee presence: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, Denver And Boston. Candidates in other locations are welcome to apply. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).
Responsibilities
- Manage all general on-chain and off-chain accounting functions which includes performing month-end close process, eliminations & consolidations, preparing and booking journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly consolidated client financials including fluctuation analysis and budget vs actual comparisons
- Utilize on-chain accounting tools to streamline processes and improve data accuracy
- Set client accounting & tax policies
- Define & implement ASC 606 revenue recognition policies
- Direct activities related to efficient customer cash collection and vendor payments and overall cash management and cash forecasting
- Build financial models to help clients manage cash and make intelligent and proactive operational decisions
- Analyze company operations to identify operational and cost efficiencies and implement solutions
- Create and manage KPI Dashboards
- Manage general HR responsibilities, including payroll, processing employee onboarding & offboarding, and benefits management
- Manage Token Accounting - which includes token warrants and token compensation
- Oversee client tax-related matters to ensure timely compliance
- Lead annual financial audits, as required
- Manage and mentor accounting teams across all clients
Requirements
- Desire to work side by side with a variety of CFOs and want mentorship
- Advanced+ Excel skills and ability to manipulate larger data sets; experience with SQL a plus
- Experience with standard software solutions: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta
- Experience with crypto accounting software (e.g. Bitwave, Cointracker, Tres) and reconciliation of on-chain transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with basic Web3 vocabulary
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Independent judgment and decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at a time
- Professional curiosity & creativity for Web3 innovation and financial transformation
- Passionate desire to learn & for continuous improvement
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA or CFA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years at the Assistant Controller level and above; multi-client experience highly preferred
- 2+ years of recent experience at a Web3 company or crypto native. If you do not have professional experience, please share the ecosystem within blockchain & crypto that you are excited about and why, in your resume or in a short cover memo.

Salary Range
Attivo offers a competitive base plus bonus, and opportunities for advancement. The starting salary range for Controller is approximately $160,000 to $200,000 per year plus bonus.

Role Overview
The Sales Operations Specialist owns the structure, integrity, and day-to-day operation of our sales technology ecosystem—anchored in HubSpot CRM. Working in close partnership with our Business Development team, this role ensures our sales processes are streamlined, data-driven, and scalable as Attivo continues to grow. The Sales Operations Specialist serves as the operational backbone of the BD function, translating business needs into clean systems, reliable data, and dashboards leadership can trust.
Responsibilities
- HubSpot Ownership & Administration
- Own the structure of HubSpot and how it is utilized across internal workflows and processes
- Serve as primary administrator: pipelines, property architecture, custom objects, layouts, permissions, and user management
- Translate Business Development feedback into layout, view, and workflow changes
- Manage day-to-day workflow progression and data quality, including accuracy and completion of activity logging, notes, and required fields
- Maintain CRM data governance through regular audits and quality control practices
- Reporting, Dashboards & Deal Intelligence
- Build and maintain dashboards that surface pipeline health, forecasting, and sales performance, with ongoing accuracy validation
- Proactively recommend new reports and views that would benefit the BD team
- Lead win/loss and competitor analysis, surfacing patterns that inform sales strategy and positioning
- Participate in weekly pipeline meetings, providing operational insights and system-driven recommendations
- Process Automation & Sales Workflow
- Design and implement workflows that automate lead routing, task management, and cross-functional handoffs
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the end-to-end Sales Cycle for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy
- Document, refine, and own the standard sales workflow and process
- Tech Stack Integration & Management
- Oversee integration and performance of the sales tech stack, ensuring seamless data flow between HubSpot and:
- Communication tools — call recording and conversational intelligence platforms
- Sales enablement, quoting, and proposal software, including evaluation of new tools
- Contract lifecycle management and digital signature platforms
- Drive adoption and utilization of integrated tools — templates, e-signatures, contract automation, and email templates — to reduce manual work
- Maintain CRM data consistency across firm platforms
- Client Data Architecture
- Build and maintain a structured approach to client tagging, descriptors, and categorization — including # of entities, industry, government vs. commercial, active vs. termed status, and reference-suitability
- Integrate with Double to automatically pull client specifics, replacing manual entry where possible and keeping records current with regular automated updates
- Documentation & Standard Operating Procedures
- Create and maintain SOPs that ensure consistent system usage, onboarding, and process alignment
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience administering HubSpot CRM, including property architecture, pipelines, permissions, and workflow automation
- Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing advanced CRM workflows and process automations
- Experience integrating HubSpot with sales enablement, communication, and contract management tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical system solutions and reporting dashboards
- Proven ability to build executive-level reports and interpret sales performance metrics
- Strong understanding of sales cycle management and pipeline optimization
- Experience with deal-level win/loss and competitive analysis
- High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and governance
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills, including SOP development
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver results with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience administering HubSpot CRM in a sales-driven environment, including property architecture, pipeline configuration, and reporting dashboards.
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing CRM workflows and automation to support lead management, task assignment, and cross-functional handoffs
- HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub) preferred and considered a strong asset.
- Experience managing and integrating sales technology tools (e.g., sales enablement platforms, call recording/conversational intelligence software, quoting/proposal systems, and digital contract tools).
- Experience supporting sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations functions with direct impact on pipeline visibility and forecasting.
- Experience developing executive-level reporting and analyzing sales performance metrics to drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience in a growing or mid-sized organization, with demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and processes.
- Professional services or consulting industry experience is a plus.

Role Overview
The Resource Manager owns staffing, utilization, and capacity planning - the operational backbone of our client delivery engine. The role matches more than 150 consultants to the right engagements (400+), drives accountability against utilization targets, and serves as a trusted point of contact for the team on workload, availability, and project fit. This is a new role, created in response to significant growth across the firm over the past several years. It is an individual contributor seat with meaningful decision authority over staffing and utilization, reporting directly to leadership.
Responsibilities
Staffing & Allocation
- Manage end-to-end staffing for ~200 consultants across active client engagements.
- Match consultants to projects based on skills, experience, development goals, and availability.
- Maintain a real-time view of who is on what, for how long, and at what capacity.
- Partner with engagement leads and Partners to forecast staffing needs 4–8 weeks out.
- Resolve staffing conflicts and bottlenecks proactively before they become escalations.
Utilization & Capacity Planning
- Own firm-wide utilization metrics; track, report, and drive accountability against targets.
- Identify under- and over-utilized consultants and rebalance assignments accordingly.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting cadences for Partners on staffing and utilization health.
- Surface capacity gaps and inform hiring forecasts in partnership with Talent and Finance.
- Wrangle and transform large, messy data sets from multiple sources into clean, presentable metrics and visuals that drive decisions.
Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Build and continuously improve staffing processes, tooling, and documentation
- Partner closely with Finance to align on utilization metrics, billable hour definitions, revenue forecasting, and margin health—ensuring staffing decisions are grounded in the numbers that matter
- Partner closely with Business Development to understand the incoming pipeline, anticipate staffing needs from deals in flight, and flag capacity constraints before they impact close decisions
- Collaborate with Talent on workforce planning, hiring forecasts, onboarding, and offboarding
Systems, Tools & Process Optimization
- Build and maintain simple, effective systems (trackers, dashboards, workflows) to improve visibility and organization
- Utilize tools such as Google Sheets, Monday, Hubspot, modern AI tools (LLMs, custom agents, automations) or similar platforms to manage work
- Identify inefficiencies and proactively implement improvements
- Continuously explore ways to use technology to streamline administrative and operational work
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in resource management, staffing, practice operations, ideally within consulting, professional services, or a high-growth startup.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staffing or operations for a team of 100+ professionals.
- Strong analytical and operational instincts: comfortable with utilization math, capacity modeling, and building reporting from the ground up.
- Excellent judgment and people skills—able to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and discretion.
- High ownership mentality; thrives in ambiguity and builds structure where none exists.
- Direct, clear communicator who can interface with Partners, consultants, and cross-functional leaders.
- Process-minded with a bias for automation: you spot inefficiencies, design cleaner workflows, and aren't afraid to rebuild a system that's slowing the team down
- Hands-on experience with the modern operations stack—Monday.com, Bizinta (or comparable PSA/resource planning tools), HubSpot, and AI tools like Claude—and comfort integrating them to create a single source of truth
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of Finance, BD, and Delivery—translating pipeline signals and financial metrics into staffing and capacity decisions
- Excel power user with strong data analytics chops—able to manipulate large data sets, build pivot tables and models, and translate raw data into clear, presentable metrics for leadership team
- Preferred: Familiarity with professional services economics or accounting/finance environments

Role Overview
The Senior Recruiter is an advanced individual contributor on Attivo’s recruiting team, focused on executing high-quality candidate sourcing, screening, and engagement across a variety of roles. This role goes deeper than the Recruiter in candidate evaluation, sourcing strategy, and pipeline management, and serves as a resource and informal coach for junior team members. The Senior Recruiter operates with greater independence and brings a sharper eye for talent, but remains focused on the candidate-facing work that drives Attivo’s hiring engine.
Responsibilities
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain robust, role-specific candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools and develop role-specific prompt libraries to improve reach and pipeline quality.
- Identify and engage high-quality passive candidates through targeted outreach and relationship building.
Screening & Candidate Evaluation
- Conduct thorough resume reviews, applying both independent judgment and AI-assisted screening tools to assess candidate fit.
- Lead structured prescreen calls to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, communication, and cultural fit.
- Prepare detailed candidate summaries and recommendations for the Recruiting Manager and hiring teams.
- Maintain consistent evaluation standards to ensure quality and fairness across all candidates.
Candidate Experience & Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the screening and interview process, ensuring a positive and responsive experience.
- Draft personalized outreach and follow-up communications, using AI as a starting point while preserving an authentic, human voice.
- Keep candidates informed, engaged, and prepared at every stage of the process.
ATS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse ATS.
- Track and report on individual sourcing and pipeline metrics to the Recruiting Manager.
- Ensure data integrity across all candidate records and activity logs.
Team Support & Mentorship
- Serve as an informal resource for junior recruiters, sharing sourcing techniques, screening best practices, and AI tool usage.
- Contribute to team discussions on process improvement and candidate quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong sourcing skills with hands-on experience across multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality prescreen calls and assess candidate fit independently.
- Experience using AI recruiting tools for sourcing, screening, and outreach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in driving diversity and inclusion efforts within recruitment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in accounting and/or finance.

- Ability to travel at least twice a year for All-Staff Retreats & Regional Meetups, and as needed for recruiting vendor partnerships and networking opportunities.
Reports To: Recruiting Manager
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 plus commission (based on experience)

Role Overview
The AI & Workflow Innovation Lead manages and executes Attivo Partners’ internal AI strategy and implementation initiatives to accelerate AI-enabled service delivery across the firm. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end AI implementation experience—ensuring successful technical deployment, measurable operational impact, and the development of a repeatable, scalable AI enablement playbook for Attivo.
As the primary AI implementation lead, they will serve as the bridge between firm leadership, internal teams, technology platforms, and pilot clients—driving structured experimentation, ensuring data integrity and governance, and documenting best practices to support long-term service innovation and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
AI Implementation & Project Management
- Serve as the primary owner for implementing AI tools and workflow automation initiatives across Attivo from strategy through deployment.
- Lead internal stakeholder meetings to assess operational pain points and prioritize AI use cases.
- Develop and manage detailed AI implementation project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.
- Act as the first line of communication for AI-related questions, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure clarity of scope, ownership, governance, and measurable outcomes across teams.
Technical Implementation & System Execution
Generative AI & Knowledge System Development:
- Design and implement an internal AI-powered chat and knowledge interface.
- Integrate internal documentation, playbooks, SOPs, and prior client deliverables into a searchable AI-enabled system.
- Develop structured prompt libraries and templates for accounting, finance, and client-response workflows.
- Continuously optimize response accuracy, usability, and speed.
AI-Enabled Workflow Design & Automation:
- Identify high-friction accounting and finance processes suitable for AI augmentation.
- Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows (e.g., onboarding support, close assistance, reconciliation review, technical research acceleration).
- Build repeatable automation templates for internal and client-facing use.
- Ensure AI workflows integrate effectively with core systems (ERP, CRM, document management tools).
Data Integrity, Governance & Validation:
- Establish QA frameworks to validate AI-generated outputs and automated workflows.
- Define AI governance standards, usage policies, and guardrails.
- Monitor data security, confidentiality, and compliance considerations.
Client Pilot & Go-To-Market (GTM) Collaboration
- Maintain a limited portfolio of anchor clients to pilot AI-enabled workflows in live delivery environments.
- Measure time savings, quality improvements, and operational impact.
- Identify scalable AI-enabled service opportunities for client offerings.
- Partner with leadership and sales teams to assess technical feasibility and implementation scope for potential AI services.
- Provide insights from pilot implementations to inform future packaging, pricing, and positioning.
Documentation & Process Development
- Review AI platform documentation and training materials to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Document weekly learnings, experimentation results, implementation challenges, and resolution strategies.
- Develop Attivo’s internal AI implementation playbook, including:
- AI opportunity identification framework
- Workflow automation standards
- Prompt engineering and template libraries
- QA and validation protocols
- Governance and risk guidelines
- Troubleshooting documentation
- Build scalable SOPs and training resources to enable broader team adoption.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish performance metrics for AI initiatives (response time, efficiency gains, error reduction, adoption rates).
- Develop dashboards or reporting mechanisms to track ROI and firm-wide impact.
- Deliver regular updates to leadership on AI experimentation, results, and expansion opportunities.
Continuously refine workflows based on usage data and stakeholder feedback.

- Strong understanding of accounting and finance operations and modern accounting technology stacks.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, consulting, or systems implementation.

Familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms strongly preferred. - Demonstrated success managing full-cycle technology implementations from discovery through deployment.

Role Overview

Role Overview
The Senior Accounting Manager position is a hands-on role, responsible for accounting functions for multiple clients that include full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the general accounting for clients, assisting with the creation of financial statements and management reporting, managing the organization's cash, and assisting with the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts. Experience with developing and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups.

Role Overview
The Controller position owns all accounting functions at our clients and will be responsible for issuing client financial statements, including thoughtful and value-added fluctuation analyses, developing financial models, and managing departmental budgets and forecasts. The Controller also manages Attivo staff to own full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. Experience with developing financial models from the ground up and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups and has a passion for helping companies scale and grow.
The position is part-time (20-29 hours per week), flexible/work from home. The position location is flexible/work from home, with preference given to candidates in the following cities where Attivo has an employee presence: San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. Candidates in other locations welcome to apply. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).
Responsibilities
- Manage all general accounting functions which includes performing month-end close process, eliminations & consolidations, preparing and booking journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly consolidated client financials including fluctuation analysis and budget vs actual comparisons
- Set client accounting & tax policies
- Define & implement ASC 606 revenue recognition policies
- Direct activities related to efficient customer cash collection and vendor payments and overall cash management and cash forecasting
- Build financial models to help clients manage cash and make intelligent and proactive operational decisions

- Create and manage KPI Dashboards

Salary Range

Role Overview
The Controller position is a hands-on role, responsible for all accounting functions internally for the firm, including full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. The Controller will be responsible for managing the general accounting for the organization, prepare financial statements and management reporting, managing the organization's cash, and assisting with the creation of budgets and forecasts. Experience with developing and establishing policies and procedures within a high growth organization is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build, document, and implement a scalable accounting infrastructure, including policies, procedures, and internal controls to support continued growth
- Manage a team of two Staff Accountants focused on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, providing oversight, guidance, and development
- Serve as the primary link between the transactional accounting function and the CFO, translating day-to-day accounting activity into clear financial insights
- Lead the restructuring and modernization of the accounting function, addressing gaps created during periods of rapid company growth
- Own and execute accounting cleanup efforts to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across financial operations
- Personally administer new processes initially to ensure successful implementation before transitioning ownership to team members
- Manage all general accounting functions, including full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, consolidations, and variance analysis

Engagement Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Interim or Fractional Controller to step in on an hourly, contract basis to stabilize, clean up, and redesign our internal accounting function for a fast-growing organization. This engagement is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring ownership of day-to-day accounting operations while simultaneously building the future-state Controller role.
The consultant will operate as the internal Controller until a permanent hire is made. The primary objective is to establish scalable, well-documented processes and controls, create a comprehensive accounting playbook, and ensure a seamless transition to a full-time Controller at the conclusion of the engagement.
Scope of Work & Key Objectives
- Stabilize and own day-to-day accounting operations during the interim period
- Clean up historical accounting issues and modernize existing processes

Responsibilities
- Fully own and operate the internal accounting function on an interim basis, including day-to-day execution
- Manage and oversee two Staff Accountants responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Serve as the primary accounting partner to the CFO, translating transactional activity into clear financial insights
- Lead accounting cleanup initiatives, including reconciliations, close inefficiencies, and reporting accuracy
- Design, implement, and document scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Personally execute and test new processes to ensure successful implementation prior to team handoff

Role Overview
Vice President of Strategic Finance assists in leading and managing the Financial Planning & Analysis services initiative for Attivo Partners.
