How You Will Make an Impact:

As an OnCore Operator you will be reporting to the Lead Operator or Foreman, this position will be responsible for operating mobile processing equipment systems.

Responsibilities:

• Learns how to monitor and control plant operating systems. Learns how to make adjustments based on production objectives and QA lab results.
• Learns the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner.
• Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
• Participates in plant maintenance program.
• Communicates directly with the shift lead to coordinate and identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Develops knowledge and skills to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Completes Pre-Op Inspection form before operating equipment and properly filing it.
• Complies with Safety program, learns the proper way to address safety issues from the lead.
• Starts learning cross-function operations, including Wet Plant and Load out Operations.
• Develops computer skills for load out operation and production reporting.

• Comfortable working outside in the elements.
• Performing general labor such as plant clean-up and Housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation and records
• Zero to one year experience in silica, aggregate or similar facility preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge preferred in plant maintenance and rolling stock; prior experience operating front end loader, scraper, excavator, and bull dozer and other support equipment preferred.
• Some computer skills to perform the load out functions with our software.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility.
• Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more.
• Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.

How You Will Make an Impact:

The OnCore Assistant Manager will be responsible for the operations of multiple OnCore Mobile Processing units.  Under the direction of the OnCore Manager, supervises overall operations of the wet plant and loadout function and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation and carries out operational and production schedules and coordinates frac sand mining activities with the operations team to ensure 24/7 production and quality of products meet plans and specifications.
• Directs the activities of the OnCore leadership to ensure effective short and long-term plant operations.
• Maintains and optimizes metrics relevant to safety, efficiency, quality, costs and other relevant aspects of plant operations.
• Provides data and input that is used to analyzes personnel team and selects the best method to meet production goals.
• Ensures safety and environmental practices are maintained and all regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
• Monitors costs and quality standards, and establishes and maintains standards.
• Resolves operational, manufacturing, maintenance, and electrical problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays.
• Ensures compliance with production reporting and inventory procedures for the operation.
• Maintains communications with, Purchasing, Human Resources, Quality, Safety, and Environmental departments.
• Maintains a positive employee relations environment, while properly motivating and documenting workforce performance.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and developing employees.
• Prepares performance evaluations of direct reports, providing counseling on methods of improving performance and disciplining employees when necessary, enforcing company systems, policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate front-end loader, scraper, bulldozer and other equipment and provide proper training as needed.
• Performs other duties as needed.

 Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience gained over at least five (5) years in an operating plant environment preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of operations leadership experience in silica, aggregate or similar facility required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in plant maintenance and rolling stock; prior experience operating front end loader, scraper, bulldozer and other support equipment.
• Strong electrical/control knowledge in plant systems with and understanding of PLC’s, VFD, and sensors
• Comfortable working outside in the elements; need to be hands-on and frequently active in the operation of the plant.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communications
• Valid driver’s license required

How You Will Make an Impact:

The I & E Technician is critical to ensuring the plant stays running.  Atlas prides itself on being a technology driven company and a critical piece of that is maintaining our sensors and hardware at the plants. 

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation, transmitters, analyzers, control valves, switches and relays
• Diagnose and correct problems associated with PLC’s and electrical systems & controls.
• Plan details of jobs that are assigned.
• Ability to use blueprints, sketches and complex drawings.
• Tools used by I&E technicians include oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters, multimeters, and high and low voltage detectors.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain process control systems such as Control Logix PLC’s, analog and discrete IO devices, and Ethernet IP communications.
• Ability to troubleshoot intelligent motor starters with E300 communication modules
• Ability to troubleshoot Allan Bradley lines of PowerFlex VFDs and Allan Bradley Soft Starts
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Previous experience working with electronic communication devices such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters, multimeters, and high and low voltage detectors.
• Experience reading product manuals and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to calibrate a wide array of sensors and detectors.
