Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural assembly, repair, and modifications of telecommunication satellites and related structures in accordance with drawing specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to determine required repairs or modifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve technical issues and support process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and repairs completed.

Qualifications 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a structural mechanic in the aerospace industry.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and structural repair techniques.
• Specific skills in riveting, drilling, and fastener installation
• Clear understanding of surface preparation for bonding, incremental drilling for hole sizing for screws, rivets, wet bonding processes
• Mechanical assembly and torque specification adherence
• Experience with laser tracking and metrology is a plus.
• Knowledge of various types of rivets, such as solid rivets, blind rivets, Hi-Lock, Hi-Lite, and CherryMax, including installation requirements.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Launch Operations Mechanical Engineer who plays a critical role in the final, high‑stakes phase of mission success. This position oversees mechanical processes and equipment at the launch base, ensuring all systems meet rigorous aerospace standards. The role bridges the gap between design and flight, managing the physical build, qualification, and configuration of the satellite while supporting the design of essential Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) used across launch site operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical integration efforts at the launch site, ensuring the satellite is flight-ready and configured according to mission specifications.
• Design and implement Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), including handling fixtures, transport containers, and integration stands.
• Oversee the mechanical assembly and qualification testing of satellite hardware to meet safety and performance requirements prior to launch.
• Enforce strict aerospace mechanical standards and safety protocols to mitigate risk and ensure mission reliability.
• Collaborate closely with integration, systems engineering, and launch vehicle teams to align mechanical activities with the overall launch schedule. 

Qualifications 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering. 

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the aerospace industry or a high‑flow manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting the full lifecycle of a product—from design and build through final qualification and deployment.
• Strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace hardware integration and MGSE design.
• Experience working in high-pressure launch base or cleanroom environments where precision is paramount.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO, SolidWorks, or Catia) for developing ground support hardware.
• Deep understanding of aerospace mechanical standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on the fly during critical integration windows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD\&T) for high‑precision mechanical interfaces.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Launch Campaign Logistics Lead to manage the secure, compliant, and efficient movement of satellites from headquarters to launch sites, and to coordinate logistics with the launch vehicle provider throughout the launch campaign.

This role involves partnering with freight carriers, customs officials, and internal technical teams to ensure timely deliveries and flawless execution. This position also requires hands‑on support at launch sites to ensure safe satellite handling during the final stages of launch preparation and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end satellite transportation and launch campaign logistics.
• Ensure full compliance with international shipping regulations and export control requirements.
• Track and manage shipments, providing real-time updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with launch site teams to ensure readiness upon arrival and seamless logistical support throughout the campaign.
• Provide on-site support to source and deliver needed hardware, tooling, or equipment during unplanned satellite processing events.
• Oversee safe handling, transport, and maneuvering of satellites and ground equipment at launch sites.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or directly relevant operational roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ITAR and international shipping regulations.

• Define and execute the mechanical integration strategy, sequencing, and risk mitigation throughout launch campaigns.
• Lead the design, qualification, and deployment of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE).
• Serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical issues during integration, testing, and launch operations.
• Coordinate mechanical activities with systems engineering, integration teams, test operations, launch vehicle providers, and range operations.
• Review and approve mechanical procedures, work instructions, and non-conformance dispositions.
• Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and task leadership to mechanical engineers and technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement across mechanical processes, tooling, and launch site operational workflows.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry or a comparable high‑reliability manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of hardware or subsystem integration from design through launch.
• Advanced background in mechanical engineering with extensive aerospace hardware integration and MGSE experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical or subsystem lead in launch base or cleanroom environments.
• High proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Inventor (preferred), CREO, SolidWorks, Catia).
• Deep understanding of aerospace mechanical standards, safety protocols, and configuration control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience serving as a lead or responsible engineer during a full launch campaign.
• Advanced proficiency in GD\&T and precision interface management.
• Experience working directly with launch vehicle providers and external partners.
• Experience leading small teams or directing cross‑functional integration efforts.
