Role Overview

The Data Processing Executive role will report into The Data Processing Manager position. The Data Processing Executive will be a key member of the newly formed India-based Data Processing Hub, supporting quantitative healthcare market research projects across global markets. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely production of tabulations, both interim and final, and requires close collaboration with research, project management, and scripting teams.

What you'll be doing

• Running and validating interim and final tabulations (uncoded and coded) for quantitative research studies using relevant software (e.g., Q, Quantum, SPSS, Excel-based platforms, or proprietary tools).
• Ensuring all tabulations meet internal and client-specific formatting, logic, and output requirements.
• Checking tabulated data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before delivery.
• Supporting QA processes and documentation to maintaining high data standards across projects.
• Assisting in preparing raw datasets for processing, including basic cleaning, formatting, and consistency checks.
• Working with coded and uncoded datasets, ensuring proper integration into final tabulation outputs.
• Liaising with scripting/programming team to ensure accurate data structure for tabulation.
• Working closely with the research and project management teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Providing input and feedback to internal stakeholders to optimise processes and outputs.
• Managing assigned tasks within deadlines and flag any delays or data issues proactively to the manager and wider team.
• Maintaining clear documentation of tabulation processes and version control.
• Support in updating project logs and workflow tracking systems.
• Continuously improving knowledge of data processing tools, tabulation best practices, and healthcare market research processes.

What you'll need

• More than 2 years of experience in a data processing within a market research agency (ideally healthcare but can be other market research sectors)
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in data tabulation software (preferably Q, but Quantum or similar will be considered as well)
• Exposure to or understanding of survey scripting tools and survey data structures is a plus
• Experience working with survey data formats (e.g., XML, CSV), as well as knowledge of relational databases and data structure management.
• Understanding quantitative research methodologies, questionnaire structures, and healthcare market research best practices.
• Demonstrable experience of working with senior team members
• Problem-solving skills (particularly relating to situations requiring analytical judgement and establishing best practice solutions)
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong communication skills, particularly in the ability to explain technical points to non-technical people in an international environment
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency.
• Logical thinking and ability to troubleshoot errors or discrepancies in tabulated data.
• Ability to interpret tabulation specifications and apply them accurately.

Role Overview

The Executive Scripting role will report into The Scripting Manager position. The role will involve working on the live projects as scripter, support the Scripting Manager to collaborate with Research and Project Management stakeholders to define the best practice and establish processes for scripting and data processing within the business.

What you'll be doing

• Review questionnaires for scripting feasibility and flag potential issues.
• Strong understanding of survey logic, variables, and questionnaire structures.
• Scripting and programming medium complexity online surveys using the Confirmit platform, incorporating logic, custom routing, and question validation to ensure seamless user experience and data accuracy
• Conducting rigorous testing of surveys before launch, identifying and resolving any programming or logic errors to ensure data integrity and smooth respondent experience
• Implement complex logic, routing, masking, randomization, validations, and loop structures
• Liaising with leads in the Team, advising on best practice, and assisting with problem solving

What you'll need

• 2+ years’ experience in scripting role within a market research agency (ideally healthcare but can be other market research sectors)
• Proficiency in using Confirmit’s scripting platform, including authoring, logic implementation, and deployment
• Solid understanding of scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customizing survey functionality and layout
• Experience working with survey data formats (e.g., XML, CSV), as well as knowledge of relational databases and data structure management.
• Understanding quantitative research methodologies, questionnaire structures, and healthcare market research best practices.

Your primary role: 

The Scripting Senior Manager role will report to Associate Director based out of India. The role will involve scaling and running the scripting function, working with Research and Project Management stakeholders to define the best practice and establish processes for scripting and data processing within the business, as well as managing more junior data processing staff and actual scripting. This will include:

• Delivery of the scripting work, working with a variety of senior stakeholders to understand requirements and suggest improvements.
• Implementation of new processes and policies, including preparing “the best practice” manuals and guides for Research and Project Management staff globally.
• Supporting a transition from an outsourced model to a blended in-house approach.
• Line management of 1-2 junior Scripting Executives / Managers, including training, mentoring and involvement in recruitment and selection.
• Scripting and programming complex online surveys using the Confirmit platform, incorporating advanced logic, custom routing, and question validation to ensure seamless user experience and data accuracy
• Conducting rigorous testing of surveys before launch, identifying and resolving any programming or logic errors to ensure data integrity and smooth respondent experience
• Managing workloads of the team and delivery across projects
• Liaising with internal clients, advising on best practice, and assisting with problem solving

About You…
