What You Will Be Doing:

As a Data Scientist, you will lead and conduct ambitious projects aimed at transforming clients through data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading Transformational Projects: Spearheading ambitious projects that utilize data to transform our clients’ operations and strategies.
• Developing Data Science Solutions: Creating innovative data science products and solutions for both clients and our internal data science team.
• Building Client Relationships: Collaborating closely with your Consulting counterpart to understand client needs and strengthen relationships.

De functie

Het verbeteren van de zichtbaarheid van de websites van onze klanten in verschillende zoekmachines en het organische verkeer ernaartoe vergroten;

• Je vertaalt ontwikkelingen binnen SEO en AI naar concrete acties, projecten en optimalisaties die bijdragen aan de groei van onze klanten;
• Je werkt aan SEO- en GEO-strategie die aansluit op onze groeidoelstellingen van de klanten;
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor grote en middelgrote klanten en accounts binnen het SEO team;
• Het creëren van SEO-strategieën voor de lange termijn en samenwerken met andere teams binnen Artefact;
• Het dagelijks contact met jouw SEO-klanten en het uitvoeren en opzetten van technische analyses, contentstrategieën en linkbuilding rapporten;
• Het monitoren van de resultaten van de klant en de rapportage hiervan aan jouw klant(en);
• Het opbouwen een langdurige relatie met de klant om samen het best haalbare SEO-resultaat te behalen;
• Het in kaart brengen van innovatieve ideeën en deze aangeven zodat je ze kunt uitrollen;

Jouw profiel

• Ruime ervaring als Senior SEO-Specialist ( tussen 3-5 jaar ervaring);
• Je hebt minimaal HBO werk-en denkniveau;
• Je bent leergierig, volgt ontwikkelingen in AI actief en kunt dit vertalen naar concrete acties;
• Je bent analytisch sterk en kunt data vertalen naar concrete acties;
• Je beheerst stakeholdermanagement en vind dit leuk om te doen;
• Je vind het uitdagend om voor voor meerdere klanten te werken;
• Je hebt goede projectmanagement skills en kunt goede focus houden op je planning
• Ervaring met het werken met één (of bij voorkeur meer verschillende) CMS'en;
• Je hebt ervaring in zoekwoordenonderzoeken, technische analyses, contentstrategieën, linkbuilding, uitzetten en implementatie.
• Ervaring hebt met het gebruik van SEO tooling zoals Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, ContentKing, Google Search Console etc.;
• Een uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel gesproken als geschreven;
• Een fulltime beschikbaarheid (32/40 uur per week).

About the Role

Depending on your background and the project, you'll focus on one or both tracks:

Data Platform

• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using dbt, Spark, or Airflow, with a focus on performance, observability, and data quality.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms with robust data models to support analytical and operational use cases.

AI & LLM Applications

• Design and deploy LLM-based solutions 
• RAG systems, Knowledge Graphs, or agentic workflows — using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Evaluate and integrate new AI tools and models to improve reliability and performance at scale.

Across both tracks

• Work directly with clients to translate business needs into production-ready technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable Python and SQL, and communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

We’re seeking someone who has:

• Fluency in English (mandatory); Dutch or French is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent), in Data Engineer, AI Engineer or similar role
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with a focus on production-quality code.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT principles or LLM orchestration frameworks, depending on your track
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, or Databricks) (Professional Certification is a plus).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The role 

You are responsible for driving performance outcomes for our national and international clients. You use all available means that fall under the umbrella of paid search (Performance Max, Demand Gen, feed optimization and more) to deliver the right ads to the right audience for the highest ROI for your clients.

As a local Google Marketing Platform reseller, our business has a strong relationship with Google and detailed knowledge of the Google Tech Stack. Next to working with Google tech stack and local publishers, we work closely with Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest and Amazon. 

We are seeking a technically skilled Paid Search Consultant. We create and apply sophisticated solutions that utilize custom AI technologies. Being skilled in these areas and willing and motivated to learn even more on this topic is a requirement. 

What you will be doing

You are part of the overall Digital & Data Marketing team, and a key player in the Paid Search team. You deliver on best-in-class media strategy and media campaigns across platforms: 

• Identify and understand customers objectives in terms of communication and online marketing strategy.
• Manage day to day search (and search related) campaigns for your client and directly communicate them. You will be the client's main point of contact.
• Oversee and optimize advanced product feed management for e-commerce clients.
• Implement and fine-tune automated bidding strategies using advanced bid management strategies and tools.
• You continue to surprise our clients with new, innovative solutions.
• You challenge yourself and the team to continuously raise the bar.
• Follow-up performances and budgets.
• Elaborate on operational recommendations, reports, detailed analysis.

Your profile 

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an online advertising agency or at the client.
• Experience with Google, and Microsoft Ads, AI and ML tools to manage paid search campaigns.
• Deep understanding of data feeds for creation and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate these into actionable insights.
• You know your way in Google Analytics to understand the impact of your campaigns.
• You feel comfortable to present Artefact at the client and at events.
• Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
