This is a currently a hybrid role (3 days/week) in Ashburn, VA. It is highly probable that this role will require 5 days/week onsite in the future. All candidates must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Ashburn, VA.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).  The ISSO will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, safeguarding sensitive information, and managing risk across classified and unclassified systems. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to support mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Developing and updating security authorization packages in accordance with the client’s requirement and compliant with FISMA. Core documents that the candidate will be responsible for are the System Security Plan, Risk Assessment Report, Security Assessment Plan and Report, Contingency Plan, Incident Response Plan, Standard Operating Procedures, Plan of Actions and Milestones, Remediation Plans, Configuration Management Plan, etc.
• Develop and maintain the Plan of Action and Milestones and support remediation activities.
• Validate that protective measures for physical security are in place to support the systems security requirements.
• Maintain an inventory of hardware and software for the information system.
• Develop, coordinate, test and train on Contingency Plans and Incident Response Plans.
• Perform risk analyses to determine cost-effective and essential safeguards.
• Support Incident Response and Contingency activities.
• Able to perform security control assessment in using NIST guidance.
• Conduct Independent scans of the application, network and database (where required).
• Provide continuous monitoring to enforce client security policy and procedures and create processes that will provide oversight into the following activities for the system owner.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field.
• 3-7 years of IT experience.
• Act as a Team Lead to ensure that the Security Team is completing all required activities; comfortable presenting to customers, motivator for the team.
• Leverage the Agile methodology and Jira.
• Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security.
• Perform all security actions to ensure IT applications are compliant with all DHS and CBP Information Audit (IA) policies.
• Oversee the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions for security requirements.
• Execute cyber monitoring, toolset security, and subscription and system alerting.
• Conduct Enterprise Security Scans that monitor and log security related incidents, and analyze the results.
• Create Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for any security risk identified, and provide mitigating solutions and timetables to closeout POA&Ms.

Additionally, the individuals must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Ardent is seeking a Salesforce Technical Program Manager to join our team.  

This is a remote position, with occasional on-site work in Ashburn, VA as required by CBP.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Salesforce Technical Program Manager with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience, with at least five (5) years leading complex projects and programs, preferably on technical solutions development projects and Salesforce programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead and manage CBP’s Salesforce Center of Innovation (CoI) technical support program across governance, development, release management, and operations.
• Provide overall program management, coordination, and delivery oversight for all Salesforce activities supporting CBP mission systems.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Salesforce developers, architects, release managers, and application teams working across multiple Salesforce orgs.
• Drive Agile program execution, including sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery tracking.
• Leads takeholder communication with CBP technical leadership, program offices, and integrator teams.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions are planned, built, reviewed, and deployed in accordance with CBP governance, change control, and security requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee release management activities, including change requests, Technical Design Document reviews, and deployment schedules.
• Ensure the team remains fully functional and productive, removing blockers and resolving delivery risks.
• Facilitate daily scrums, project meetings, and coordination sessions across technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide status reporting, risk tracking, and delivery transparency to CBP leadership.

Requirements: 

• Active CBP BI clearance required.
• A certification in project management from a recognized credentialing agency (e.g., Project Management Profession (PMP) and/or Program management professional from the Project Management Institute) is preferred.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.
• Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management
• Experience effectively communicating with senior levels of a customer organization.
• Experience delivering solutions to production and/or migrating legacy applications to new modern platforms.
• Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plans.

Ardent is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with a minimum of six (6) years of experience, with at least four (4) years supporting complex Salesforce projects and programs, preferably on technical solutions development projects and Salesforce programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide solution architectural support for daily tasks, business needs, platform strategy, development teams, and application teams supporting CBP’s Salesforce environment.
• Provide guidance for the maturation of Salesforce and guide new application teams on best practices for development and configuration.
• Review Technical Design Documents (TDDs)and provide technical direction prior to deployment to ensure successful releases.
• Support release management activities, including design, source control, packaging, and deployment of Salesforce applications across multiple environments.
• Design and maintain efficient and scalable data models within Salesforce.
• Apply and govern the Salesforce security model, including data access controls and permissions.
• Design and support integration patterns and middleware to connect Salesforce with other CBP systems.
• Support cross-functional teams working within CBP’s Salesforce Government Cloud environment.
• Provide technical guidance to application teams and Operations & Maintenance teams during design, release, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and bugs at the enterprise level within the CBP ecosystem.
• Train and support newly assigned development team members working on Salesforce programs.

Requirements:
