About the role
As a Software Engineer - Embedded Systems, you will design, develop and port autonomous software modules across different system-on-chip platforms. You will be an early member of the fast-growing autonomy team in Stuttgart with broad ownership and direct impact on program direction.
You will bring up new embedded hardware and software alongside engineers from machine learning, vehicle applications and Vehicle OS. We move fast and focus on excellence. If you are hands-on and want a multiplying effect on making autonomous vehicles a reality, Applied is the place for you.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Develop and debug our autonomous stack on embedded compute platforms
- Work closely with machine learning engineers to optimize perception models for embedded performance
- Interface with automotive middleware and communication protocols (IPC, Ethernet, DDS)
- Support vehicle operations, SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) setups
- Leverage AI-accelerated development tools and workflows
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ on POSIX and RTOS environments
- Direct experience with automotive SoCs (NVIDIA Orin, Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride or similar)
- Strong low-level understanding of hardware accelerators including encoders, DSPs and GPUs
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, specifically QNX and Linux
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, hardware debuggers and flashing interfaces
Nice to have:
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics or related fields
- Experience with ADAS or autonomous driving systems
- Machine learning experience, ideally in perception
- Full product cycle experience from first prototype to series production
- Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASIL or MISRA C++

We are looking for a talented Function Developer to design, implement, and deliver parking functionalities as part of our autonomous driving stack. Your work will directly shape how vehicles plan and execute parking maneuvers, from automated parking assist to remote parking and automated valet parking.

- Design, develop, and own parking functionalities such as Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP)
- Develop and integrate planning and control components tailored to low-speed parking scenarios
- Make fast and structured progress using our own simulation and data tooling, tracking and improving KPIs over a vast set of virtual tests as well as a very large real-world data set
- Test your functions hands-on in our test vehicles on test tracks and public roads
- Work closely with our simulation and data tooling experts to accelerate function development
- Collaborate with team members focusing on active safety and L2++ to share common components, tooling, and data processes
- Engage directly with customers, gathering requirements and presenting solutions

We're looking for someone who has:
- 4+ years of experience in software development for driver assistance or automated driving systems
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions (e.g., APA, remote parking, path planning in confined spaces)
- Demonstrated ability to ship ADAS/AD software into series production vehicles, including work on requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to quickly become comfortable with new technical concepts and tools
- Proven ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Series project experience with parking functions (APA, AVP, Remote Parking)
- Familiarity with world-wide regulations and standards relevant for automated parking (e.g., UN R79, ISO 22737)
- Experience working hands-on with prototype vehicles
- Experience working with simulation tools for scenario-based testing
- Previous experience in a high-paced startup or technology environment

About the role
Applied Intuition is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance process for the Self-Driving System (SDS) organization in compliance with Automotive SPICE and ISO 9001:2015. This role is central to our journey toward achieving and sustaining defined ASPICE capability levels across engineering, management, and support processes.
You will work closely with engineering, program management, and support teams to define, deploy, and continuously improve processes that meet the highest automotive quality standards. You will be the primary driver of process compliance, quality assurance, and process improvement within the SDS organization — acting as an independent, objective function that ensures our work products and processes meet defined criteria.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Define, implement, and maintain the Quality Assurance process, Work Instructions, and quality criteria for SDS in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 9001:2015
- Collaborate with process owners to develop process descriptions, RASIC matrices, and templates aligned with ASPICE PAM, and support their deployment across SDS projects
- Drive process training and awareness across engineering, management, and support teams
- Perform independent work product and process audits to verify compliance with ASPICE, ISO 9001:2015, and internal quality standards
- Conduct internal assessments against defined ASPICE capability level targets
- Identify, record, track, and drive process and work product non-conformances to closure using structured RCA methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone), with formal escalation for unresolved items
- Ensure traceability of QA results, including process conformances, audit findings, and quality KPIs, and communicate findings to all affected parties
- Interface with Change Request Management (CCB) to ensure quality-related changes are properly analyzed, approved, and tracked
- Participate in design reviews and provide quality feedback on software architecture and implementation
- Define and maintain quality KPI dashboards aligned with ASPICE and ISO 9001:2015
We're looking for someone who has:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
- 3+ years of experience in automotive SW quality assurance/ engineering
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and ISO 9001:2015 compliance
- Experience developing process documentation, including Work Instructions, process descriptions, templates, and RASIC matrices
- Experience in conducting work product audits, process audits, according to ASPICE, process compliance with ISO9001:2015 and driving quality issues to closure.
- Experience with problem solving methodologies, including hands-on knowledge of 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone (Ishikawa) root cause analysis methodologies
- Experience defining and reporting quality metrics and KPIs, with strong data analysis and interpretation skills
- Ability to read and review C, C++ and Python code for quality assurance purposes; code development not required
- Experience with process documentation and knowledge of process framework, hierarchy, and guideline development
- Preparation and presentation of software product quality status, including quality metrics, audit metrics, top quality issues, and risks
Nice to have:
- intacs® certified Automotive SPICE Provisional or Competent Assessor
- Certified Internal Quality Management System Auditor — ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
- Experience with ASPICE PAM v4.0 processes MLE (Machine Learning Engineering) and HWE (Hardware Engineering)
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Buildkite)

About the role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help strategize and manage complex autonomous trucking engineering projects, identify gaps, and implement best practices for our customers. This position will involve intense collaboration with engineers within Applied Intuition and at the customer, in order to implement solutions towards our customers’ autonomy deployment goals.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Own strategic trucking autonomy projects that are critical for Applied Intuition’s engagements with global truck OEMs
- Drive execution of large-scope, cross-disciplinary initiatives focused on Level 4 (L4) autonomy for trucks, integrating hardware, software, and operations to accelerate development, deployment, and commercialization
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders — working directly with OEM customers, engineering teams, and executives — to understand use-cases, clear requirements, and address technical challenges to ensure project success in trucking autonomy

- 3+ years of experience with advanced software, robotics, or autonomous vehicle programs (ADAS or L4 autonomy).
