We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) to build the foundation of Apaleo’s market-facing API layer, bringing agentic booking into hospitality and enabling the next generation of guest-facing AI experiences.
This is a highly autonomous role where you will design and ship the Storefront API, a production-grade, scalable interface that allows external systems (like ChatGPT and booking platforms) to interact directly with Apaleo.

The role
This is a full-cycle sales role with real ownership. You'll find, develop, and close strategic and mid-market accounts across DACH, from first conversation to signed contract. You'll sell into hotel groups, serviced apartment operators, and forward-thinking hospitality businesses that are ready to leave their old PMS behind.
You'll work closely with our partner ecosystem to co-sell and accelerate deals, and you'll be a genuine voice for Apaleo in the market — building relationships that go beyond the transaction.
