Position Summary

Antora Energy is hiring a Manager of Facilities and Equipment to be the internal owner of our facilities, capital equipment, and physical operating environment across multiple Bay Area sites. This is a hands-on leadership role: leading multi-site planning, capital project delivery, and EHS compliance while directly improving site readiness, equipment uptime, and safety. The Manager partners with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, EHS, IT, and Security — and with external OEMs, riggers, contractors, and rental vendors — and will lead the evolution of Antora's facilities function from contractor-supported toward internally led as the company scales.

Roles & Responsibilities

Facilities Leadership & Strategy

• Serve as the primary internal owner of facilities, capital equipment, and infrastructure across all Antora environments; lead planning, budgeting, and capital roadmapping.
• Establish policies and standards (PM, change management, vendor onboarding, safety), manage internal facilities technicians and external contractors
• Participate in lease negotiations for new and existing San Jose area facilities. Ensure facilities activities are in compliance with lease terms.

Site Operations & Infrastructure

• Own infrastructure across electrical (208V/480V), HVAC, exhaust, process gases (N2, compressed air), DI/distilled water and cooling loops, and wastewater.
• Run preventative maintenance (PM) and reliability programs across all sites; maintain site diagrams, equipment registers, and asset inventories.
• Diagnose and repair basic issues with capital and building infrastructure equipment. Maintain an adequate stock of equipment spares.
• Monitor facilities resource usage (Utilities, propane, nitrogen, etc): suggest upgrades to meet cost targets and ensure facilities meet operational requirements. 

Capital Equipment & Project Execution

• Own installation, relocation, and commissioning of capital equipment — including but not limited to CNC mills, coat tracks, fume hoods, evaporators, HF benches, dicing tools, cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment.
• Lead site-prep and tie-ins (concrete, anchoring, power and gas drops, exhaust, cooling water); run capital projects on scope, schedule, and budget.

Permitting, EHS & Compliance

• Support EHS with facility-level compliance with BAAQMD air permits, Silicon Valley hazardous materials, wastewater discharge, and building/fire/life-safety codes; manage relationships with city inspectors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Partner with EHS to enforce safety standards (LOTO, machine guarding, gas detection) and lead corrective action on facility and equipment safety issues.

Material Handling, Security & Workplace Systems

• Own the material handling fleet (forklifts, telehandlers, lifts, cranes, hoists, tuggers) and rental relationships; ensure operator certifications and PMs are current.
• Own physical security and access control (badging, visitor parking, CCTV, alarms, fencing)
• Partner on facilities related workplace ticketing workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and R&D to align facility readiness with EVT/DVT builds and production ramps; 
• Partner with IT on site networks and AV infrastructure installations.
• Partner with Business Operations to provide input on building cleanliness/janitorial services for all facilities; support office space buildout; support insurance inspections/visits and diligence, monitoring and benchmarking of ESG (Environmental Social Governance).

Initial Success Metrics (First 6–9 Months)

• Antora can clearly explain and defend its facilities footprint, utility capacity, and equipment register to auditors, investors, and AHJs.
• Accurate site diagrams, equipment lists, and PM schedules are in place across all sites.
• Open permits, expirations, and pending inspections are continuously visible; no equipment is held up by permit gaps.
• Capital equipment installs land on schedule and budget, with documented commissioning and acceptance.
• Site uptime, safety incident trends, and corrective actions are tracked and reviewed monthly with leadership.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities/Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 8–10 years of progressive facilities, capital equipment, or plant engineering experience, including 2+ years leading a team.
• Multi-site facilities and equipment management experience in a hardware, manufacturing, semiconductor, biotech, or heavy-R&D environment.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical (208V/480V), process gases, HVAC, cooling water/chillers, and wastewater systems.
• Experience leading capital equipment installation end-to-end and navigating Bay Area permitting (BAAQMD, SV Haz Mat, local building/fire) or equivalent.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and willingness to lean into AI-driven facilities and asset management solutions.

Additional Qualifications Desired

Position Summary

This is a senior role within the Business Development team to originate and develop high quality project opportunities in the international industrial heat market and develop them towards final investment decisions (FID). You will lead a cross-functional team to bring credible, large-scale industrial decarbonization projects to life.  You'll also leverage your expertise to help evolve Antora’s deal-team playbook for high-performance, efficiency and productivity.  Projects will initially be  internationally located, with focus in Spain and/or Australia, but over time may be in other markets including the US as well. This role prefers candidates that operate 4+ days per week from the San Jose, CA office when not traveling.

Position Summary

Antora’s Energy Team is seeking a Summer Associate (Intern) for Summer 2026 to build automated powered tools and workflows that streamline complex power supply analysis. Over ~10 weeks, you’ll deliver a mission-critical project (e.g., a energy development desktop study automation pipeline and/or an interconnection opportunity mapping workflow) that accelerates how Antora identifies, evaluates, and de-risks high-priority projects supporting faster deployment of Antora batteries.

Roles & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a senior analytics manager to own Antora’s long-term power market economics: the forecasts, models, and market strategies that underpin how we originate, structure, and finance projects. You’ll be the internal authority on long-term power prices, capacity market value, and battery dispatch economics across our priority markets in the U.S. and internationally.

The role combines deep analytical work: LMP forecasting, ELCC modeling, production cost modeling, capacity expansion modeling with external-facing responsibilities. You’ll represent Antora’s market views to customers, project financiers, electric utilities, and ISOs, and you’ll help them correctly model a technology class most have never seen. You’ll be supported by data scientist and software engineer peers, manage forecast vendors and energy market consultants, and build Antora’s analytical infrastructure.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

POWER MARKET FORECASTING & VALUATION

• Own long-term LMP forecasts for power projects and power-to-heat projects; maintain Antora’s house view on power price trends, charging costs, and arbitrage value across priority markets.
• Lead ELCC modeling across ISOs and own Antora’s position on capacity value for thermal storage—including how that value evolves as market rules and resource mixes change.
• Develop and maintain views on ancillary services participation and value for Antora’s technology across market structures.
• Build and maintain analytical models or manage external consultants or other internal team members to build models that inform project valuation, deal structuring, and product design; This includes production cost models, capacity expansion models, and ELCC models.

MARKET STRATEGY & INTELLIGENCE

• Develop market participation strategies across ISOs: capacity accreditation, ancillary services qualification, energy market positioning.
• Track and model the implications of changes to energy, capacity, and ancillary services market rules across priority ISOs.
• Identify and prioritize prospective projects and interconnection positions based on market fundamentals and Antora’s competitive positioning.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• 7 - 10+ years in energy markets with substantial depth in power market analytics and energy storage dispatch, including experience with operating assets and/or virtual bidding in wholesale electricity markets.
• Deep familiarity with ISO market structures: capacity accreditation, ancillary services, energy markets across at least two of PJM, MISO, or SPP.
• Hands-on experience with LMP forecasting and production cost or capacity expansion tools (Encompass, Plexos, Aurora, PROMOD).
• Experience producing and defending market views or technology economics to sophisticated counterparties: energy traders, utilities, data center operators, financiers, or regulators.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for prototyping and analysis; experienced enough to direct engineers when building at scale.

The Principal, Power Procurement will lead complex utility tariff negotiations, originate off-take agreements with utilities, and set consistently high standards for deal execution across the Energy team. This role combines deep, hands-on deal negotiations and ownership, with mentorship for a growing team of deal leads who negotiate energy service agreements, custom tariffs, infrastructure arrangements with utilities, and power purchase agreements across multiple ISOs. The Principal will set deal standards, architect first-of-kind commercial structures, and serve as a trusted escalation point for resolving negotiations aligned with business objectives.

• Deal Leadership & Origination

   

  • Lead marquee negotiations for utility tariffs and energy service agreements across US markets, including novel tariff structures, custom rate arrangements, and non-standard commercial terms.
  • Originate capacity and power sales, including negotiating MOUs, term sheets, and off-take agreements with hyperscalers, utilities, and other large-load customers.

Position Summary

Antora is seeking an experienced Senior R&D Test Engineer to lead the development and execution of high-value test programs that de-risk the next generation of our thermal energy storage and combined heat and power systems. This person will lead a small team to execute sub-scale and full-scale investigations across Antora’s TES modules and balance of plant, translating product development goals into safe, well-instrumented, and actionable experiments. In addition to driving technical execution, this role will help shape the test infrastructure, operating systems, and team culture needed to scale R&D test operations efficiently. The work will directly influence key product decisions, demonstration milestones, and Antora’s path to commercialization in new markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of sub-scale and full-scale R&D test campaigns to evaluate and de-risk Antora’s thermal energy storage modules, CHP systems, and supporting balance of-plant hardware.
• Lead the design, implementation and operation of new test infrastructure for high-temperature, high-power experiments, including process piping, instrumentation and controls, high-power electrical and safety systems 
• Translate product and technology development goals into structured experimental plans, including test objectives, success criteria, operating procedures, and data review methods.
• Develop and improve the systems that enable efficient test operations, including SOPs, test recipes, scheduling methods, data analysis workflows, and reporting tools.
• Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, and technology development teams to identify design risks, root-cause failures, and generate recommendations that improve product performance and reliability.

Key Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, test operations, controls engineering, field engineering, or closely related roles supporting complex industrial hardware systems.
• Demonstrated experience operating, troubleshooting, developing high-temperature and/or high-power systems in environments such as energy, industrial processing, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other demanding hardware settings.
• Strong engineering fundamentals across thermal, fluids, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret data and diagnose failure modes in multidisciplinary equipment.
• Hands-on experience building, modifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting experimental or industrial equipment, including instrumentation, plumbing, electrical systems, and control hardware.
• Experience leading small technical teams, providing day-to-day direction to engineers and technicians and promoting a healthy team culture.

About The Role

Antora Energy is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer to serve as our first on-site operations presence at a supplier facility in Pennsylvania. The supplier operates high temperature furnaces that process material that is then integrated into Antora's thermal energy storage systems.

Because this program is new, you will build the operational foundation from the ground up: writing SOPs, defining the end-to-end material flow, establishing quality criteria & tracking, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules. Once production begins, you will own day-to-day execution — coordinating across the supplier's operators, maintenance crews, engineering, quality, EH&S, and logistics teams to ensure Antora's material moves safely, on spec, and on time.

This is a high-autonomy role. You will be Antora's eyes, ears, and decision-maker on site, while staying tightly connected to the broader Operations team at our San Jose headquarters.

What You'll Do

• Production Standup: Develop and implement SOPs, control plans, work instructions, and preventative maintenance schedules for all furnace operations — from receiving raw material through final pack-out and shipping

This role requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, construction, and operations teams.

This role requires being on long-term assignments (6-9 months) at project sites. Antora provides airfare, lodging support, daily per diems, ground transportation, and regular home-visit travel. • Commission Antora’s thermal battery systems.

• Hands-on experience with LV equipment - motors, generators, load banks, motor controllers/VFDs.
• Experience creating and executing electrical test plans, including automated test sets (Dobble, Omicron, or similar).

Option 2 - Network, Instrumentation and Controls (N, I&C)

• Commission full spectrum of instrumentation and control systems: ;  Network infrastructure (cat6, fiber, switches, patch panels), PLC/RIO cabinets, field devices (RTDs, TCs, PTs, flow meters, etc.), , and instrument wiring.
• Lead loop checks, functional testing, controls commissioning, and site acceptance.
• Troubleshoot controls/instrumentation and network issues during startup and operations.
• Work with vendors/EPC to ensure controls and instrumentation meet Antora performance/safety needs.

Option 3 - Mechanical, Electrical, Process (MEP)

• Own cross-discipline interface management across mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
• Review P&IDs, equipment layouts, process flows, and utility tie-ins, and validate completion with regular system walkdowns.
• Coordinate modular thermal battery integration with site MEP infrastructure.
• Support construction execution: RFIs, submittals, QA/QC, punchlists. Drive issues to resolution by coordinating internal Antora and external resources.

We are seeking a self-driven, passionate Mechanical/Process Engineer to help deliver zero-carbon industrial heat and power through our novel solid-state thermal battery to work out of our location in San Jose, California. You’ll join a close-knit engineering team that values impact, humility, and collaboration, and that takes pride in building lasting relationships while tackling hard problems.

In this role, you will play a central part in optimizing Antora’s balance of plant (BOP) systems for both cost and performance. You will develop, own, and continuously refine cost models that integrate data from a wide range of technical and commercial sources. These models will serve as a core, iterative tool to guide the design and evolution of cost-optimized, high-performance plant processes and mechanical and electrical architectures.

You will also scope, define, and design BOP systems and equipment for Antora’s commercial thermal energy storage projects. As a key technical contributor within a fast-growing, cross-functional organization, your work will directly support the testing, deployment, and scaling of an innovative long-duration energy storage technology.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and own models for equipment, system and plant costs; continuously update models as data is gathered from our constructed projects
• Perform engineering trade-off case studies that balance performance, cost, and schedule to drive architectural alignment via quick (spreadsheet) and thorough (model-based) approaches.
• Work hand-in-hand with other engineering teams (SW/controls, battery engineering, project execution, etc.) at Antora to develop the simplest, lowest-cost, highest performing BOP system
