Position: 

The Clinical Trial Specialist (CTS) is primarily responsible for the coordination of activities associated with the setup and management of clinical studies under the direction of, or as delegated by a member of the Global Clinical Operations team. Responsibilities will range from clinical study coordination to data entry projects and general office work. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations.

Responsibilities include: 

• Help provide accurate and up-to-date study status information to the organization.
• Implement accurate tracking systems, forms, and other relevant documents to support clinical studies
• Assist the clinical operations team with vendor management, including tracking all study invoices and payments
• Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, presentations, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• Assist in the periodic review and QC of eTMFs to support inspection readiness and archiving of completed studies
• Maintain electronic files of clinical trial documents for ongoing projects

Position: 

The Director, Quality Systems provides strategic leadership and hands-on oversight for the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Annexon Quality Management System (QMS). This role serves as a subject matter expert for GxP quality systems and is accountable for system governance, compliance, and operational excellence across electronic quality platforms. 

The Director partners cross-functionally to ensure inspection-ready quality systems that meet global regulatory requirements, support clinical-stage development, and scale with organizational growth. 

Responsibilities include: 

Quality Systems Leadership 

• • Provide governance and oversight of the Annexon Quality Management System, ensuring sustained compliance with applicable GxP regulations. 

• • Monitor emerging and evolving global regulatory requirements and proactively drive updates to quality systems and procedures to maintain a continuous state of compliance. 

Electronic Quality Systems 

• • Lead the lifecycle management, configuration, and continuous improvement of electronic quality systems, including EDMS, LMS, and related GxP platforms. 

• • Serve as system owner for Veeva Vault Quality, including user management, system configuration, document workflows, and reporting. 

Computer System Validation & Assurance 

• • Lead and support validation activities for GxP computerized systems, demonstrating expertise in Computer System Validation (CSV) and Computer Software Assurance (CSA). 

• • Ensure all GxP systems remain in a validated state throughout their lifecycle, including change management and periodic review. 

• • Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and applicable electronic records and signature requirements. 

Document Control & Training 

• • Own and continuously improve the document control process, ensuring controlled documents are authored, reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. 

• • Lead the administration and optimization of the learning management system, including training curricula, role-based training assignments, and compliance tracking. 

• • Partner with functional leaders to ensure timely document review, approval, and training completion across the organization. 

Metrics, Audits & Continuous Improvement 

• • Develop, monitor, analyze, and report quality system metrics to assess system health and support management review. 

• • Conduct periodic internal audits of quality systems and document control processes; ensure timely investigation and resolution of identified gaps or nonconformances. 

• • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and compliance of quality systems. 

Additional Quality Support 

• • Support inspections and audits, including regulatory authority and partner audits.

The Field Medical Directors (FMDs) are medical experts who are an extension of the Medical Affairs team and represent Annexon with key stakeholders. • FMD requires 4 to 6 years of field-based experience in biopharmaceutical industry in medical affairs or relevant clinical roles and FMSD requires 6+ years of experience
• Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison within Ophthalmology, with demonstrated expertise in retinal or ocular diseases and established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the space.
• Scientific and patient-centric mindset with a successful track record of delivering results exceeding objectives in support of medical affairs and Annexon strategies

We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Strategic Contract Negotiator to join our company at this critical stage of company growth. This role will serve as a key business partner across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Medical Affairs, and several other support functions. This role will lead the negotiation of complex agreements that support our late-stage pipeline. The ideal candidate brings deep experience negotiating biotech-relevant contracts—particularly with CROs, CMOs, laboratories, and other strategic suppliers—and thrives in a fast-paced, resource-conscious environment where impact is immediate and visible. The role will be hired at the Associate Director or Director level, based on experience, scope, and leadership capability.

Responsibilities include: 

• Lead end-to-end contract negotiation strategy and execution for a wide range of procurement agreements, including:
  • CRO and clinical service agreements
  • CMO and manufacturing agreements
  • Laboratory, data, and technology service contracts
  • Consulting, professional services, and master service agreements MSAs/SOWs)
• Partner closely with Finance and Legal to ensure contracts appropriately balance risk, compliance, and commercial objectives while meeting company standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing commercial guidance on pricing models, payment structures, risk allocation, and contract terms.

The Associate Director of Clinical Trial Management will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical studies.
