ABOUT THE TEAM

Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) is responsible for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. The AD&S Vehicle Software team is responsible for the software running on these systems. Our software engineers collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry. We are looking for engineers excited to build the foundational vehicle software stack that supports the wide range of AD&S initiatives, from early concept simulation to first flight to live operations to large scale fleet management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
3+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Rust, Go, JavaScript, Typescript, etc.
3+ years of experience working with JMPS
Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with JMPS/NOMS ecosystem, with a focus on application development and graphical user interfaces
Developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments
Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees
Developing software/hardware for flight systems and safety critical functionality
Distributed communication networks and message standards
Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics
Universal Armament Interface (UAI) and WOSA

US Salary Range

$166,000—$253,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. ABOUT THE TEAM

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in Software testing or related technical experience
Experience with requirements based verification and implementation of verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests
Have extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools, such as C/C++, Python
Track record of architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defense space
In-depth knowledge of requirements management, risk based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control
Strong Knowledge of Software Testing Principles And Methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure
Functional knowledge of mission autonomy for collaborative platforms, including crewed/uncrewed teaming and formation flight
Knowledge of data fusion from multiple sensor and track sources, with understanding of distributed fusion principles

US Salary Range

$166,000—$220,000 USD
