We are seeking an experienced Broker Trader to join our SnP desk at Akuna Capital. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual interested in supporting our team expand coverage and compete in the marketplace. What you’ll do as a Compensation & Benefits Coordinator at Akuna:   

Akuna is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Coordinator to assist in managing Akuna’s benefits offerings and compensation. Well-qualified candidates will have a foundational understanding of benefits programs, payroll administration, and broader HR policies & processes. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and professional, demonstrating strong communication skills and exercising appropriate discretion in all duties. You will also proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance employee experience. In this role, you will:   

• Provide ongoing support to the Compensation & Benefits Specialist and broader HR Team 
• Assist with the administration of US employee benefits and retirement programs, including enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination  
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and 401(k), including plan provisions, enrollments, and life event changes

What you'll do as a Systems Engineer at Akuna:

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to be responsible for Akuna’s Linux server platform health. This person will participate in the design, deployment, and maintenance of our high-performance platform to support our trading environment. They will also automate daily software and hardware tasks while writing and maintaining scripts and tools. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects and problems with minimal supervision. In this role, you will:

• Investigate new products and techniques to improve efficiency and performance in the environment
• Responsible for architecture and maintenance of a tier-based storage solution
• Management of Akuna’s server infrastructure at third party and local data centres

• Manage form filings, securities registration/licensing, and SRO Exchange registration through the FINRA Web CRD portal (Form BD, U4, U5)
• Manage the Firm’s outside brokerage account process, including insider trading and anti-money laundering reviews 

Qualities that make great candidates:

Akuna's Prediction Markets team is looking to add a Junior Quantitative Researcher focused on sports related contracts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing Akuna’s sports pricing capabilities, working closely with development and trading teams to refine and deploy these models alongside our strategies. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on an exciting new desk at Akuna. • Design and develop data capture pipelines to enable the pricing of a variety of sports contracts (match outcomes, player props, in-game events)
• Develop and calibrate pricing models using historical data in service of in-play quoting of sports contracts.

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join Akuna’s innovative and growing IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate is likely to have received a college degree with a focus in network design, or equivalent experience. Candidates must be self-motivated, demonstrate excellent multitasking skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art electronic trading environment. In this role, you will: 

• Collaborate with our Trading, IT Infrastructure, and Development teams to configure and troubleshoot the network infrastructure
• Provide day-to-day support of network and application environments, including port configuration and cabling
• Provide evening and weekend support and maintenance, and travel to data centers as required
• Work closely with other infrastructure engineers to evaluate current and new technology and improve all aspects of our infrastructure
• Work together with senior team members to analyze business requirements, and design, implement, and manage an effective (WAN/LAN) network that supports our current domestic and global trading platform
• Work with network providers to ensure that the trading infrastructure remains stable, competitive, and cost-effective

We are seeking to grow our Performance Engineering Team, which is focused on a rigorous and holistic approach to improving software, hardware, and strategy performance. This team is responsible for maintaining and increasing our competitiveness at the various exchanges Akuna does business with around the globe. As a member of this multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for investigating new opportunities for optimizations and bringing these ideas to fruition. This can be achieved through software optimizations, analysis of hardware, orchestration of physical installations, analysis of exchange specific protocols, or building tools for gauging Akuna’s performance. In this role, you will:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of our trading engine by increasing its performance with projects such as benchmarking systems, evaluating new devices, latency, and throughput analysis
