Akido is entering a significant growth phase, expanding its footprint of clinics and corporate offices across multiple states. This will be our first dedicated facilities leader. This role is foundational.
As Senior Manager, Facilities & Workplace Operations, you will build the facilities function from the ground up — establishing the processes, policies, systems, and operating model required to support rapid, compliant, and cost-effective expansion. This is a hands-on role for a builder who is comfortable doing the work, not just directing it.
You will bring a strong financial lens to all facilities and real estate decisions, working closely with Finance on budgets, capital planning, lease economics, and cost controls. You will partner daily with Clinical Operations, IT, People, Real Estate, and our in-house Legal team to ensure our physical environment is safe, compliant, reliable, and ready to scale.
Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
Equity: Stock-options package
Benefits:
Physical Demands: Mostly sedentary work duties require exerting up to thirty pounds of force occasionally and/or small amounts of force frequently. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.

The Opportunity
We are building an AI-native, national healthcare network. As we scale through acquisitions, partnerships, and launch new markets, the complexity of our financial operations is increasing rapidly. This role sits at the center of that complexity: building the accounting infrastructure and systems that allow the business to scale with confidence.
This is not a traditional Controller role. This role reports to the CFO and is the senior most accounting position in the company. You will be responsible for stitching together a fragmented set of entities, revenue models, and workflows into a unified, high-quality financial system. You will partner deeply with operational and finance leaders across the organization to ensure our books reflect how the business actually runs—and enable faster, better decision-making.

The Opportunity
Akido Labs is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our small, high-impact infrastructure team. Reporting to engineering leadership, you'll own the systems that keep our platform reliable, secure, and scalable as we grow. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — you won't be maintaining someone else's playbook, you'll be writing the next one. If you thrive in lean teams where your decisions have direct product impact, this is the role for you.
What you’ll do
- Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across environments
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce deployment risk
- Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and drive post-mortems to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to support application deployment and platform needs
- Harden infrastructure security posture, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and secrets management
- Contribute to capacity planning, cost optimization, and cloud architecture decisions
- Support a multi-cloud environment, including limited work in Azure
- Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures to support a growing team
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role (required)
- Deep expertise with AWS — networking, compute, storage, IAM, and managed services (required)
- Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (required)
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production (required)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling (required)
- Experience working on small, collaborative teams where you wear multiple hats (required)
- Experience with Azure or other cloud providers (preferred)
- Familiarity with observability tooling — logging, metrics, and tracing (preferred)
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and async collaboration (preferred)
