Role Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting end-users of the hardware and software that Air North, Yukon’s Airline utilizes to ensure adequate solutions are provided. This position primarily responds to time-sensitive technology challenges faced by Air North employees (portal, telephone, email, desk-side and remote support services).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to Service portal, emails and phone lines
- Troubleshoot and support software and hardware problems in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and hardware tracking systems
- Set up hardware and software as requested through the portal
- Create/update documentation of new and existing processes (Knowledge base)
- Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
- Identify viable projects, have entered into ticketing system, and assign priority
Must haves:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous IT experience
- Must have and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Role Summary:
This role involves collaborating with teams and businesses to understand and utilize current technologies while exploring new opportunities to enhance the support for Air North. This position ensures support and solutions are provided, provides training and support to other IT team members, and serves as an escalation point for support to the team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. (Cisco, Firewalls, VPN, Satellite)
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect IT systems from cyber threats and ensure data integrity
- Managed services experience, NOC, SOC, SaaS
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and business continuity
- Plan and execute system upgrades and patches to keep IT infrastructure up-to-date and secure
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes and procedures
- Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring they can effectively use IT resources
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience
- 4-7 years of experience working with IT teams in a coordination role
- Experience in IT procurement, project coordination, vendor management and IT Service Management practices
- Experience in managing server and network infrastructure

Role Summary:
The Technical Records Controller is responsible for ensuring all accomplished aircraft maintenance checks, component changes and other aircraft related jobs are entered and tracked accurately within the computerized Maintenance Tracking Software.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checking aircraft documentation, (ie: aircraft log-sheets, check packages, scheduled and unscheduled task cards, etc.) which have been completed by pilots and ACA holders for completeness and accuracy

- Entering flight log times and accomplished maintenance work into the MTS with accuracy

- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer systems & processes to administrate data, records & information

Role Summary:
The Apprentice AME is a mechanic who is in the process of obtaining the training, knowledge, experience and skill required to obtain an AME M2 rated license.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials and manuals under the direct supervision of an ACA
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
- Verify parts installed onto the aircraft are properly certified, prior to installation

- Receive “on the job training” from ACA(s) in order to gather the experience and skill required to obtain an AME License

Role Summary:
The First Cook reports to the Manager of Catering & Cabin Services and is responsible for assisting in leading the day-to-day activities of the Black Wolf Bistro (BWB) kitchen. This is a key team member in our kitchen operations and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality, upholding cleanliness standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide training and guidance to the kitchen staff
- Ensure food is produced and assembled in accordance with the BWB specifications
- Ensure all activities are following all policies, procedures and regulations required for safety, work and food handling including Transport Canada, Health Canada, YG Aviation Branch and Air North

Role Summary:
The individual is responsible for the maintenance of Air North, Yukon’s Airline’s (the “Company”) aircraft and aircraft equipment in a safe and effective manner including: servicing, inspecting, repairing and monitoring of aircraft to ensure airworthiness standards are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials and manuals
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
- Ensure the Company’s safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Ensure work accomplished is correctly documented and recorded
- Verify parts installed onto the aircraft are properly certified, prior to installation
- Oversee the work of apprentices and providing training/guidance in order for them to become AME’s

- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 rated License
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- A minimum of 6 months experience within the last 24 months working on M1 & M2 aircraft of which 3 months is working on M2 aircraft
- Required to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

Role Summary:
The Flight Kitchen Supervisor reports to the Chef & Manager of Catering and Cabin Services and is responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff. The incumbent oversees the production, quality assurance and health and safety procedures for flight catering. In addition, they will assist with the creation of recipes for menu items, maintain standards and assist with inventory control.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, supervision, coaching and mentorship to Catering and Black Wolf Bistro staff, leading by hands-on example and support
- Cultivate a team environment that is supportive, motivating and encouraging
- Liaise with HR and Manager to maintain staffing levels, engage in performance management including training, reviews, recognition, disciplinary action and termination
- Manage scheduling based on operational requirements (vacation planning, shift changes, sickness and absenteeism), providing shift coverage as needed
- Monitor and optimize scheduling to minimize overtime and submit bi-weekly payroll
- Ensure food is produced and assembled in accordance with airline specifications, conducting periodic sampling and testing to ensure product quality and integrity
- Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace standards meet or exceed all regulatory requirements
- Establish, maintain and regularly audit policies, procedures and food safety management plans, including the HACCP plan, investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions as required
- Ensure on-time performance through proficient, organized and appropriately staffed food production
- Maintain and audit high-risk activities, including product selection, purchasing, receiving, inventory controls and food cost management
Must haves:
- Combination of culinary training and experience exceeding 5 years
- Interprovincial Trade Certificate/Red Seal or Diploma/Certificate
- Proven experience running a kitchen and leading a team
- Experience in planning and directing food preparation and cooking
