Job Summary

The Account Executive will be responsible for maximizing ticket revenue for the LA Galaxy through sales.  Prospects are targeted through new business initiatives and mining the current database via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong desire to help set the standard for client experience and retention in the sports industry. 

Essential Functions: 

• Sell LA Galaxy tickets with a dedicated product menu focus as assigned; the menu includes season tickets, full season equivalents, groups, youth soccer partnerships, and premium tickets.  Maintain a minimum daily average of 60 outbound calls – volume may be increased or decreased based upon the time of year and needs of the organization. Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and activity requirements. 
• Maximize clients’ revenue potential by identifying premium opportunities as well as cross-selling opportunities to other Galaxy games and DHSP ancillary events. 
• Provide quality service to existing and prospective customers to support annual membership retention.
• Perform “game day” responsibilities, including networking with clients and prospects, as well as working ticket sales booths and tables.
• Attend events in local soccer and business community, using each event as an opportunity to sell tickets, capture data from new leads, as well as build relationships with the local soccer and business community.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
• 0-2 years of related work experience
• Excellent oral and written skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet use, and other basic computer usage
• Familiarity with basic tenets of sales and customer service (sports industry specific is a plus)
• Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance while at work.  Business attire in office and during events. Employees may be required to wear Galaxy attire (to be provided) when representing the Galaxy in public
• Drive and initiative to succeed and develop a career in the sports and entertainment industry
• Ability to support a team environment and adhere to departmental guidelines
• Ability to prioritize based on sales need
• Ability to work evenings/nights/ weekends, holidays, and select ticket sales and networking events

Payscale: $19.00 + Commission

Job Summary:

The Premium Inside Sales Representative participates in a part-time ten-month sales development program, training in phases to sell a variety of AEG events, group tickets, VIP packages, event suites, premium inventory and more. The Representative will have a full range of sales opportunities, each with a specified focus throughout the program. Events include, but are not limited to: LA Lakers, LA Kings and LA Sparks games, concerts, family shows, award shows, boxing and special events at Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, and L.A. LIVE.  
 
The ten-month program encompasses four phases: Training & Technique, Development, Expansion and Preparation. The Representative works closely with their sales manager through each phase as well as a senior level mentor who will help provide guidance throughout the ten months. 

Essential Functions:  

• Outbound Calls (prospecting/calling past buyers) – daily, weekly and monthly call goals (75% Daily) 
• Working events – including visiting clients, assisting with "Member Only" events, sales and customer service booths, greeting VIP guests, etc. (10% Weekly) 
• Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings and staff huddles (5% Weekly) 
• Business development research (10% Daily) 

Required Qualifications: 

• A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred) 
• Must currently be a senior in college or recently graduated in the last year 
• A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and continuously changing work environment 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, evenings, and overtime, where necessary to meet deadlines 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Previous Sales Experience 
• Bilingual English/Spanish

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Inside Sales Representative participates in a sales development program geared to prepare entry level candidates for a career within the sports sales industry. This individual will receive detailed and comprehensive sports sales training from Ontario Reign & Los Angeles Kings with a strong focus on developing the skills necessary to become an industry sales leader. The training will benefit the individual's career growth as a full menu sports sales representative.

This opportunity consists of generating business relationships to gain revenue by selling season tickets, partial game plans, and group tickets for the Ontario Reign Hockey Team of the American Hockey League and the Los Angeles Kings Hockey Team of the National Hockey League. A core function of an Ontario Reign Inside Sales Representative is to proactively generate new revenue through outbound calls, prompt responses to inbound calls, team-related events, upselling, cross-selling, and generating referrals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face-to-face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.
• Conduct a high volume of new business calls every day (minimum of 80); proactively prospect and network to generate new business relationships.
• Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all inbound and outbound customer communication – phone calls, emails, mail, etc.; Manage accounts to exceed established sales goals.
• Attend all home games to ensure great customer service to all clients and fans; assist Account Executives with Season Ticket holders by answering questions, helping with tours, etc.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Job Summary
The Director Sales-Special Events is responsible for the sales of special events, local special event marketing and networking to grow the special event business, and meeting sales goals. In addition, the Director of Special Events will execute special event contracts and letter agreements.

Essential Functions

• Network, research and cold call potential clients to create new business opportunities. Manage client relationships. Create event proposals and budgets. Collect event deposits and contract signatures once event(s) are confirmed.
• Advance event details for confirmed events and serve as contact person for event related issues. Ensure that all steps are taken to guarantee the event is executed successfully. Collect vendor quotes and finalized contracts.
• Trains and manages special event staff; including bar, wait and security personnel. Ensure that special events staff is adhering to company policy regarding rentals and special event execution. Be available to advise or make recommendations on any issues that may arise in the event process.
• Follows up with clients to ensure event meet client's expectations, place holds for future dates/show if event could become reoccurring.
• Promotes upcoming events and availability to potential, existing and past clients. Respond to inquiries on availability, pricing and locations. Negotiate deal terms and pricing.
• Prepares contracts and letter agreements once proposals are accepted. Submit budget and change orders.
• Creates competitive pricing models that drive the maximum revenue possible for the venue. Track sales and devise plans to reach annual goals.
• Develops strategic collateral materials, online marketing and other strategic tools to generate activity.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)
  • Advanced Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred 
• 6-8 years
  • Of related work experience
  • Prior experience working in music venues preferredf
• Computer savvy and proficient in MS Office Professional Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
