The Role

We are seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our expanding Sales Team in Singapore. As an experienced, quota-carrying sales professional, you will play a critical role in establishing Addepar as the platform of choice within Singapore’s investment management sector. You’ll focus on driving new ARR by engaging with financial institutions, including Investment Advisors (RIAs or FAs), Single and Multi-Family Offices, and Private Banks in the region.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth in the APAC region, helping to shape Addepar’s presence in Singapore. You will collaborate with global sales, marketing, and product teams to build relationships with key financial institutions and accelerate the adoption of Addepar’s platform.

What You’ll Do

• Reshape the wealth management industry by delivering innovative technology solutions
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to cover key accounts within your territory, focusing on APAC and Singapore-based Private Banks, Family Offices, and Wealth Managers
• Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure a top-tier client experience
• Build and nurture new client relationships, positioning Addepar as a trusted solution in the Singaporean and APAC markets
• Attend client meetings and marketing events as needed (approximately 30-40% travel, depending on business needs)

Who You Are

• Experienced in software sales within financial services, with a strong track record of success in meeting or exceeding quotas
• Proven expertise in selling SaaS solutions to wealth managers, FAs or RIAs, or financial institutions, particularly in the Singapore or broader APAC markets
• Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM tools
• Skilled at delivering compelling product demos and navigating the nuances of SaaS business models
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including fluency in English (Mandarin or another related language is a plus)
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred

The Role

We are looking for one of our first engineering hires in Singapore — a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who will play a critical role in shaping Addepar’s growth in the region.

Forward Deployed Engineers partner directly with key technical and strategic stakeholders at Addepar’s largest enterprise clients. From building custom data integrations to extending platform capabilities, FDEs operate with autonomy and ownership to deliver meaningful impact for our clients.

At Addepar, FDEs are not part of a services organization. Instead, they act as an extension of the platform, partnering with clients in a highly collaborative way, focused on outcomes rather than billable hours. You will join a global FDE team that continuously evaluates opportunities and priorities, ensuring we are solving the most important and impactful problems for our clients.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment.

What You’ll Do

• Work in small, agile teams with minimal supervision, setting priorities and managing client interactions.
• Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of high-value projects.
• Gain exposure to a wide variety of technical challenges, new technologies, and complex problem-solving opportunities.
• Turn lessons learned from client engagements into scalable, long-term solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Addepar’s engineering and product teams to share insights, inform design strategy, and contribute directly to our core product.
  
  

Who You Are

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Java and/or Python preferred), and/or compiled languages (Go, Rust, Scala preferred).
• Experience building systems with relational or NoSQL database storage.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or another technical field, paired with professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ability to lead complex projects, manage timelines, and build strong working relationships.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and collaborative team environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in one or more strongly typed server-side programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).
• Experience with distributed storage and execution frameworks (e.g., Arrow, Spark, Flink, Storm).
