We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Charge Poster with at least 1 year of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management. The Charge Poster will be responsible for accurately entering and reviewing charges, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, and supporting the billing team to maintain timely and precise claim submissions.

What you'll do

• Accurately enter patient demographics

Position Summary:

As an Assistant Manager – Charge Posting you are responsible for supervising charge entry operations, ensuring accurate capture of clinical services into the billing system, and maintaining compliance with payer and coding guidelines. The role involves team leadership, quality monitoring, productivity management, and coordination with coding, billing, and denial management teams to optimize revenue cycle performance.

1. Responsible for managing day-to-day charge posting/charge entry operations for physician and facility services.
2. Ensure charges are entered accurately and within defined turnaround time (TAT).
3. Monitor daily productivity and quality metrics for the team.
4. Manage a team of charge entry specialists / associates.
5. Conduct daily huddles and weekly performance reviews.
6. Support employee development and performance improvement.
7. Perform periodic quality audits of charge posting.
8. Ensure compliance with:

• Coding guidelines
• Payer policies
• Client-specific billing rules

1. Identify workflow inefficiencies and process gaps.
2. Implement automation or workflow improvements to improve productivity.
3. Work closely with coding and AR teams to reduce revenue leakage.
4. Address charge-related issues impacting claim submission.
5. Prepare operational reports such as:

• Charge lag report
• Productivity report
• Quality scorecards
• Volume reports

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience

• 7–10 years in Healthcare RCM
• Minimum 3+ years in team lead / supervisory role

As an AR analyst in Acurus you have to analyze status of claims for the outstanding balances on patient accounts and taking appropriate actions. Manage A/R accounts by ensuring accurate and timely follow-up. Ensure that the deliverable to the client adhere to the quality standards
